[Q] Root acces secondary kernel (i9505) - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone
I used the Dual Boot Patcher yesterday for the first the and succesfully installed the latest ROM from jamal2367 as my secondary ROM. When I launch this ROM I'm not able to get root acces anymore. When I try to root this rom with Odin and CF-Auto-Root notting happens (I have the idea that I'm rooting my primary ROM again with this CF-Auto-Root).
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks,
Kierewiet

[Q] No recovery at all, what can it be?

I everybody,
I recently put a stock 2.3.6 rom on my SGS I9000 in order to upgrade to 4.1.1 (Tsunami).
The problem is that, after flashing rom and CF root I can't access recovery in no way (3 buttons or from software doesn't matter... it doesn't start the recovery). It simply stop on the first-ever screen, so I can't access recovery to wipe / to flash new rom.
What can it be?
Also, I thought that using that guide i could resolve this problem but simply it doesn't work - i waited long time with odin running but nothing happens (obviously I downloaded a total samsung stock rom).
Any advice?
Are you sure that you have installed the correct Rom with the right CF Root Kernel? Did the phone work after the Flash? Sounds like some kind of bootloop...

[Q] Unable to install custom recovery on Note 3

Hi guys,
Not sure of this wss covered already but i was unable to locate anything that helps
I currently have a Galaxy Note 3 n9005 international LTE version with stock kitkat installed 4.4.2. The phone is rooted which i did upon receiving it and have super user 2.0 installed. i have confirmed root with titanium back.
Now i wanted to try a custom rom and tried to install the new phillz touch recovery but observed that it kept failing in odin (tried several times) i even tried to install a custom recovery via ROM Manager which it said the update was complete but when ever i boot into recovery mode i keep get the stock android recovery.
i have search and cannot find anything that help so here i am.
My Android version N9005XXUENC2 AND Kernel version is 3.4.0-636608 dpi @SWDD5619 #1
From my understanding once u root it should have install a custom recovery. When i got the phone it came with Jelly bean 4.3 and i rooted then updated to kitkat, could this be the issue. Does that mean i have root again?
Any assistance given is greatly appreciated.
Install CWM 6.0.4.7 by Chinglu via pc odn (tar)
Then if you wantvto change to Philz, install Ohilz (zip) through custom recovery

Hi there, whats your android version ?
Try flashing this with your custom recovery
If you're 'successfully rooted' you can download and install SuperSU direct from the playstore......Why would you need to odin flash it?
