[Q] 2nd g2, another screen problem - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

just got a replacement g2 and screen is fine unless i use mobile data, then it flickers like its being interfered with, i also get this flickering when im sending or about to receive a text.
this only seems to happen on gsm, though i have to have it on as this gives me the best signal in my area.
has anyone else encountered this problem?

[Q] Stuck after phone call

I bought a Nexus4 a couple of weeks ago. I constantly got this issue, it will be stuck and not return to the normal screen even I keep pressing the power button. However, if the other side of the call hangs up quickly, it normally works fine. but if it is directed to a voice mail box, it will be stuck forever until I shutdown the phone.
Just wondering has anyone experienced the same issue ?
Have you put a screen protector on it?

It sounds like the proximity sensor on your phone is being blocked you might want to try not using your case and see if its make any difference

AT&T S4: screen stopped working

My screen on my brother's S4 (SGH-1337) has stopped working. He swears it began doing it randomly and has not been damaged in any way. It either remains black or occasionally a random set of pixels are displayed. Is this a common problem and is there a fix for it? If not we will mail it off as it is still under warranty.... THANKS!
The only fix is to replace the screen assembly. If it is not rooted, you might as well send it off for warranty

Knock on not working

I don't know what happened but the other day my touchscreen started acting up. For some reason the knock on doesn't work at all, but knock off does. Also there is like a strip about a half inch from the top of my screen where the touchscreen just does not work. I can't click on anything in that area. I'm running OptimuS v 2.2

Not with stock KK ROM, nope. Maybe others can help you. Otherwise I'd recommend doing factory reset. If that doesn't help, returning to stock to see if it's the ROM or hardware.
Im having that same problem im on stock rom it has never been droped i dont know how to fix it and now it gives me an alert saying it detects my screen is broken although its not

Touchscreen issue

So all of a sudden tonight my knock on feature stopped working. Then I noticed that I have a dead spot on my screen as you can tell from the photo attachment. I have no warranty so sending it in to LG isn't an option. I've did some reading and can't seem to find if this is a software or hardware issue? Can anyone shed some light here? It's a D803 variant. Should I replace the digitizer or not? I need a working phone asap as I'm driving across the country next week.
Thanks

Had this problem as well along with many others. I do believe it is a hardware issue. As far as your method of repair, I'm not sure. I got mine replaced under warranty.

I appreciate your feedback. Went to my local repair shop today and they are gonna replace my LCD and digitizer for me on Monday. $100 charge to do it. I'm fine with that I need a working phone especially since I'm about to drive across the country. Here's to hoping.
