im trying to find the system app lockscreen in root explorer but i cant find it anywhere. what im trying to do is use agile lock for the sense 3.0 lockscreen but the default lockscreen will always come first so im trying to delete the default lockscreen so i can use agile lock.
so if anyone could tell me what folder the lockscreen apk is i would really appreciate it.
It's part of android.policy.jar
thx man i just flashed the aosp lock screen and reboot options and its much better now.
is there a way we can just flash the sense 3.0 lockscreen from recovery to make it default.
UPDATE: See post #9 for Gesture unlock and skip the GoLocker lock screen page.
Sorry if this is already posted, but I would just like to point out how I got a pattern unlock working.
1. Download NoLock
2. Disable stock lock screen security
3. Using Es File Explorer or root explorer, copy org.jraf.android.nolock.apk from /data/app/ to /system/app/.
4. Restart
5. Install Go Launcher from the market.
6. Open Go Launcher, then go to menu - preferences - visual settings - go locker - then select go locker enabled.
7. Configure go locker security under security lock
8. Use go launcher and open No Lock, then click the big disable button.
Another way to install no lock is to use titanium backup and change no lock to system app.
The problem with that is, on restart, there is no notification or menu bar. To work around this:
1. Install SwipePad from the market
2. configure one of swipepads slots for no lock
3. On reboot, drag swipepads hotspot to the center, select no lock, then enable and disable locking.
Hope it helps!
By the way, you have to be rooted to read and write to /data/ and /system/
Thanks for this! I found this and tried it on my Nook Tablet and, low and behold, it works as well. Although do you know if there's a way to disable the first lock screen so that only the pattern lock is enabled?
Yea, you just have to get no lock from the market, follow step 3, or you could use titanium backup to change no lock into a system app.
Tell me if that doesn't work.

Well I did that already and it disabled the stock lock screen but not the primary GO Locker screen...does No Lock require any permissions changes?
Thanks!

That is very annoying, yes, but I haven't found a way (yet...)

I was using this method for a while, but found it possible to get around the screen lock when you first boot. Sorry, don't remember the exact procedure, but it was definitely possible. I gave up and went back to the stock locker.
Yes, it doesn't work on first boot, so if you are really concerned about security, you should not use this trick

Ok, I have found a solution. You have to grab the updated GoLocker apk, version 1.23 and install it onto the device. Now, if you look under Settings-Security Lock and check the option Password unlock, it will now skip the lock screen page. Also, you have the option of using a gesture or a pattern.
This seems like a great idea. Going to give it a try as soon as I figure out my root problem...
What issues are you having?
Hi Guys, i just wanna ask something about default SYSTEM home screen.. i know how to convert user app to system app but when i try converting LAUNCHER 7 app to system app, i'll always get FC's (force close).. So my here's my question, ... ... .. ... ...
How to make LAUNCHER 7 as my ONLY default home screen? No Samsung Home or Whatever thing is.
For example, I reboot my system then my Home screen must be LAUNCHER 7, i mean i won't be pressing the HOME BUTTON to CHOOSE DEFAULT HOME SCREEN. In short, i want to change and remove SAMSUNG HOME and CHANGE IT TO LAUNCHER 7 without getting Force Closes.
i'm working on this last 3 months and still got force close, i'm only a little noob and must learn the CORE OF ANDROID WORLD
i also tried converting launcher 7 as system app but failed. the best way is to delete all.launchers ) press thanks for me. if i helped.

NEED HELP IN REMOVING THE DEFAULT LOCKSCREEN
I was thinking If we could Remove the default scroll LockScreen and prot the Xperia one
Yes, you can remove the default lockscreen
The default loackscreen you talk about is none other than the keyguard of the navi launcher. Yes, I do agree that it is quite a bit irritating to always swipe up every time you unlock your screen.
To remove this, the fix is simple:
1. You need to first root your device.
2. Open build.prop from /system [Use Root explorer app from the play store]
3. Search for navi keyguard support in the following lines, and change that particular value from 1 to 0.
You will now have Android's default lockscreen on your e7. Cheers.
Oh, and if you want to take it a step further and delete the keyguard, you can do so, with Titanium Backup.
Hi that was awesome finally got rid of that ****ty lock screen.
Is there something similar to tweak and get rid of that awful answer call swipe down also ?
