I can't find any controls to modify the lock screen. I can remove the default clock, but I can't add anything. And when I go back to the lock screen the clock is back. I can't find anything having to do with lock screen in the Settings either (like adding widgets, etc.) I also can't expand the lock screen widget. Is this functionality just not there? Or am I just looking in the wrong place?
Nexus 7 3G "tilapia"
I'm posting this here because there is not official development thread for this ROM on my device. There are nightly builds so someone is maintaining it, but I don't have any place except here to post questions. I hope someone from OMNI monitors this forum.
Settings -> security -> lockscreen
When you're in the lockscreen try swiping the clock to the right, a + should appear. Tap the + and you should have the option of adding a widget. If the lockscreen is PIN protected you'll have to enter it first, then you'll see which widgets you can add. I think this is pretty standard.

Thanks! After finding the settings from the previous post I was able to do that. Thanks to you both for your help!
Go to Settings -> Security -> check "enable widgets". Then go to lockscreen, swipe to the right and your "+" sign should appear.
Is anyone else having an issue setting the lockscreen wallpaper? I am getting FCs when I select a wallpaper via Security --> Lockscreen --> Wallpaper

Hey guys I've got another question. Does anybody know how to remove the clock from the lock screen?
I've gone through Setting>My Device>Lock Screen and have everything turned off.
I've even downloaded an app called "Lockscreen Policy" which has an option to disable Widget and/or Camera, I've switched both of them off as well. I don't remember the app saying anything about needing root to work.
Really annoying that the stupid clock is covering my Lock Screen Wallpaper especially when the Notification Bar is on the Lockscreen and that has a clock on it anyway.
Thanks in advance.

If you swipe down from the clock it will expand the widget. You can then long press it and drag it to the trash can that appears at the top of the screen.
Be aware, though, that if you do not have any widget there you will just see a screen with a big "+" sign asking you to add a new widget and once the phone locks the clock widget will reappear. The only way to get it to go away permanently is to replace it with a different widget.
Hope this helps.

Yea i just tried it out and see what you mean. I just don't understand the point of it being mandatory to have something. That ****s raining on my customization parade. Thanks for the input.

You should disable the stock lockscreen all together and give WidgetLocker a try. It works really well on my wife's Note 2, and it's super customizable.

I try this and is says "unable to edit in security mode". I understand I may need to "unlock" the phone w/ the security code - but how do I get back to remove the lock screen clock if I do that? I am trying to get Dashclock Widget going, but this is blocking me.
Any thoughts?

Do you have a pattern or PIN lock set? I don't think the widgets work with those.

You are correct. PIN/Pattern doesn't work with other widgets. Thanks man.
Solved it
Hi, folks -- registered just to report that I have solved this problem. Download Minimalistic Text (free), though I'm sure you already have it. Enable Multiple Widgets on the phone, then add a blank Minimalistic Text widget. Delete your clock as described above and enjoy.
even easier: Blank Lockscreen Widget (Play Store)
galaxy s4 lockscreen
This has probably already been mentioned by now but for those still strugglimg with this. Drag down the screen from were the message and clock is. Click the pen looking icon to edit delete txt and uncheck clock if that is not required. Then press save in the top right and your lock screen will be clear :good:

Drag down the life companion message and click edit. Delete text and uncheck clock if also not required then press save. No app or root required just needs to be edited from the lock screen. May need to disable your lock security while you edit. Hope this helps
hide lock screen clock Android 4.3
Hey guys,
I recently got a Note 3 discovered that you cannot remove the lock screen clock. Simply doesn't allow you the option to.
But I found a way to hide it using the "personal message" feature.
Turn personal message on in the lock screen options menu.
Simply uncheck the clock and date boxes and space across a single character (as it won't allow you to have no text but will allow you a space which is invisible anyways..) and then hit save.
So then the next time you go to wake up your phone the lock screen clock will be gone!
I really don't like the way you are literally forced to have a lock screen clock!?!?
I often change my lock screen and desktop wallpapers and don't like the screen to be cluttered with text I don't want to see..
I have only tested this method on my Galaxy Note 3 so I am unsure if this will work on other Android phones..
Also what I have found strangely enough is normally there would be a half to one second lag for the display to sleep when I lock the phone.
This lag seems to have all but gone now that I specified a personal message (even though its blank) and hid the clock & date. Bonus!!
Hope this helps. Apologies if this has been previously covered..
Have fun!

Thanks so much for this now if I can just find away for it not to show that you have a text message on the lock screen things will be great.
FIxed.
Hay guys.
Sorry for the late reply. But I found a way to remove everything on lockscreen...
Date, time and also the unlock icon and rings.
But for now to remove clock simply allow lockscreen widgets then download zooper widget and replace your stock clock widget with an blank zooper widget.
Hope i helped.
[Rooted Phone] I found this xposed module and it's working fine http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.ssrdroide.lockscreenclockmods
Hey there,
I wanted to ask this question in the official PAC ROM thread for the Nexus 4 but unfortunately I have no permission.
Anyways, is there a way to disable those fly-in animations that come with the above mentioned rom? Nearly all windows that I open have that annoying fly-in animation and it does not even feel consistent: sometimes the window flies in from the right, sometimes from the bottom and sometimes it comes from the top left just when it is about to change its direction to fly straight down.
Is there a way to restore the default window animations (that stock zoom fade-in effect)?
Some ROMs might have the ability to change that, but I don't know about yours. You can disable animations altogether by turning them off under development settings.
Not sure exactly if you're talking about those... but check out:
PAC-MAN settings -> Home screen -> Home screen (again) -> transition effect.
PAC-MAN settings -> Home screen -> App Drawer -> Transition effect.
etc..

Thank you, but I don't want to disable animations completely.
I think I have to replace them manually if there is no way to change them via the ROM.

These are the animations for the launcher, right?
However the animations I am talking about are everywhere in the ROM, whenever I open/close a window...
EDIT:
Okay so I flashed a different PAC ROM (inofficial) and it allowed me to customize most of the animations in the PAC ROM settings.
Unfortunately some animations were missing (e.g. popups sliding in from the right). I am back to my old ROM now and might contact the ROM dev.
I have the "Multiple Widgets" option turned on, but it doesn't bring out the "Favorite Apps" and "Camera" options. In the lockscreen when I try to swipe the clock to get to the "+" thing to add a widget, all the clock does is do a partial flip and get stuck. Even when I remove the clock I still can't add widgets to replace it and it comes back when I relock the device. Please someone help me because I'm really stumped.

Setting > Device > lock-screen > set swipe then > multiple widgets > select favorite apps and save
if this config not work first try restart and if problem remains try factory reset.

I already had it set to "Swipe" and turned "Multiple Widgets" on, but there's no "Favorite Apps" option anywhere. Plus the other problems I mentioned.
Silly me, I found the "Favorite Camera" and "Camera" options by tapping the "Multiple Widgets" option. However, I still can't swipe the default clock widget on the lock screen to get to "+" sign and add widgets (all it does is a partial flip and get stuck), and when I remove the the widget I can't add a replacement anyway and it comes back whenever I relock the screen.
Someone please help me because I'm really stumped here.

Did you find a solution to this because I've got the same problem. I set the widgets up no problem when I first got the device but when I came to change them I found that it doesn't work anymore. Something is obviously causing it to fail but I've no idea what. I really don't want to do a factory reset.
Hi. I'm new to this ROM on my Nexus 7 3g (tilapia). As there is no up to date forum on XDA for this particular device, I am posting here. I can't get Quick Pulldown or Smart Pulldown settings to stick. I set Quick Pulldown to "centre" but when I exit settings and go back in nothing is selected. Same for Smart Pulldown. I can get quick settings by pulling down on the right, but I am unable to change it. Any ideas? I did a clean wipe/flash of the ROM. I'm on the 4/27 build but it has done this on the last 2-3 builds I've used.
When I say I can't change the Quick Pulldown settings, I mean I can't add or remove tiles. I found the switch to rearrange them, but I can't change what shows up. I can't find any setting like in other firmware where I can choose which tiles appear here.

I assume you mean the pencil? All that does is let me rearrange the tiles. I can't add or delete any. Unless I'm missing something. I've tried dragging tiles off the screen, pulling down on the panel in edit mode, etc.

Anyone? Am I the only one with this problem? Maybe there's a conflicting setting somewhere I don't know about that keeps it from being set.

You can't add more tiles. All the available ones are already there.
To remove a tile, just tap on it once while in edit mode. It will fade in the background, and won't be displayed once you exit the edit mode.

Thanks! I was beginning to think I had some sort of unique bug. With no official forum for my device on this ROM I was thinking of switching back to SlimKAT, but I really like this ROM.
I still can't get the options to change the location of the pull down and Smart Pulldown to work, but the default seems to work fine. The settings I choose simply don't stick - if I go back into the option they are all blank.
Hi,
i'm new with emui, i would show whatsapp notifications on my lock screen, and if possible, wake up screen automatically when notification coming.
But i cannot get working any of the functions.
I enabled lock screen notification in whatsapp app, but it doesn't working. I only get sound and led, but on lock screen there is nothing. It is the correct behaviour?
p.s. I have B105 europe version.
Thanks
Ok, i changed theme and now lockscreen notifications are working. Now found option to wake up screen.
One more question: is it possible to use only ONE image in lockscreen? and how i could choose it?
Thanks
go to gallery, select a image, set as wallpaper, only lockscreen
Thanks for answer.
But i have no option to set an image as wallpaper for lockscreen. Maybe because magazine lockscreen is enabled?
On lockscreen, swipe from bottom up to reveal the lockscreen shortcuts and click on Covers.
Then remove all unwanted wallpapers (or add your own). If you only want a single wallpaper, simply add only one.

Is it possible to define how many text rows will show on each notification in lock screen (by default, only one row is shown which is not enough sometimes) ?
is there an option to show up the clock when i touch the screen
