The LCD Backlight may need to be checked or replaced for this issue to be fixed.

Just wondering whether the touch sensitivity has been fixed by a ROM?
Is it a hardware or software related problem?
Thanks
Sent from my Nexus 4
I think it's more hardware.

I think it can be improved with software.
It was done on other devices.
For example on the Galaxy S2 it is possible to increase touch sensitivity up to the point where you can type by just howering over the screen without even touching it.

I was thinking the screen was the same as the optimus G ? Zero gap technology?
Sent from my Nexus 4
I thought it was the same screen but the Optimus G didn't have these issues.

I'm hoping too. My one x & iPhone have fantastic sensitivity but this when i tried one it clearly didn't.

My sensitivity has seemingly gotten better after installing AOKP and Faux123vs rom plus some touchscreen tweaks.

Check this out, comment 40 and 42. Looks like its definitely software side, I'm sure google/LG will eventually fix it.
Does anyone knows how to fix? I'm rooted
Settings, display, led notification, Check charging box

The charging led will only be on when the display is off.

phone antenna is located on the bottom of the phone which might be why you have better signal while its upside down

My pen works on other devices but does not work on mine.
My phone alerts me when I pull the pen out but does not show up when I try using it on my screen.
The indicator doesn't show up either
This happened a just recently I have the latest firmware. The phone is not rooted.
@Bat159 what happens when you touch the screen with it?

Are these dead pixels? I have found 13 on my SGS7E
Can anything be done other than an RMA?
Thanks

Oh typo. I mean APEQ.
It's not permanent. It's already fixed in newer firmware.

Not sure but I was on APF2 and now on APFG and I have never seen this hot pixel again. And from what I saw people who reported this problem are all on APEQ firmware. So I assume it's the problem.

think that its software problem but not sure (APEQ). Samsung France said I should give my device to the nearest repair center cause of the possibility that will be the hardware problem. I didnt give it for now... Anyone try with stock firmware?
I am shure You shut the pic in HDR on mode. And when you take several pictures the hot pixels apear in the same Position, that why i think it is hardware related isue. Also it show that only the Samsung Sensor ist affected.
Sent from my SM-G935F using XDA-Developers mobile app
Samsung insisted my phone needed to be repaired for this. Just got it back and the problem remains! do they not even check before they ship them back!?
I also sent my phone to repair. There are 2 hot pixel at the center of the sensor, only appears in HDR mode.
Firmware info: 2016-09-08, Spain, G935FXXU1BPHJ
If they don't fixit, I'll insist until the problem be solved

Finally, customer service repaired mine, changed the camera module. Now I don't have any hot pixel even in HDR mode. :victory: :good:
Fast service, I thought that this task would take more time
