Samsung GALAXY Tab S Wonder of Nature Video - G3 General

As a gift for you here is a link for you to download the GALAXY Tab S Wonder of Nature Videos so you can see it in your LG G3, I'm having a hard time deciding in which device looks better, but if I'm forced to decide I must admit that the Galaxy Tab S (mine is 10.5") takes the prize even when it's not full Quad HD.
Next I will see how it compares with my Galaxy S5. Download it before Dropbox lock it down.
Edit *** Sorry But it was suspended already by Dropbox.

That's the Galaxy Player, not the SGS.
they might do the same play again in the future, but not now.
when Galaxy S 'HD" or whatever they gonna call it in the future, chances are they will stop the SAMOLED on the old Galaxy S line, to make all the new Galaxy S "HD" with SAMOLED
just like what they did with the Galaxy Wave; HTC did the same move with Desire to make Desire like ****, and make the new Desire "HD" looks better
thread title is misleading.
This is just another Samsung Galaxy line product.
There are some many Samsung Galaxy xxxx product now
- Galaxy Spica
- Galaxy
- Galaxy S
- Galaxy Tab
- Galaxy A
and this Galaxy Player, all of them target at different market segment with different price.
you forgot to list
Galaxy 5 series
and
Galaxy 3 series

I know you are just speculating, but I disagree. They are hitting record investment for building new facilities that are being launched. They will be able to keep up with their own supply when the successor to the SGS comes out, while being able to pull an Apple and push the Galaxy S to free (pretty easy in the U.S. seeing as how Amazon already sells them for that) or $99 on contract. Samsung has always been a glutton for size, that's how they became the largest phone manufacturer in the U.S. market in 2010. Having Super AMOLED in only their highest end phone means they will only be catering to the highest end market, they'd love to cut the bottom out from under the LGs and HTCs on the low-end while still keeping up the pace on the high end.
So, if they grow faster (maybe much faster, but I'm not quite sure their supply slack) than they expect, you will end up being right. If they grow the way they are predicting I think the SGS will have SAMOLED until they stop supplying the devices. Just my opinion though. And reportedly it'll be about another 18 months until anyone else gets their hands on SAMOLED.

10.1 vs note 10.1

Just wondering if it was worth upgrading my samsung galaxay 10.1 to the note 10.1 special after i can finally make voice calls from it. As am just waiting on a phone call to say when the 3g version is coming in stock
Quad core processor
2GB of RAM
Getting Jelly Bean
If you have the money, I wouldn't see a reason not to upgrade.
Just hope Samsung doesn't give up support for it or take forever to provide further upgrades as has happened with the Tab.

Ding Ding Ding. Exactly. They did it with the OG GT then the GT 10.1. They've given no reason to make us think support will be any better on the Note 10.1.

I do not like the way Note 10.1 looks to be honest. I had my Galaxy Tab 10.1 with me when I stopped by BestBuy and compare them side by side, tell you the truth, my a year old Galaxy Tab 10.1 still better looking then newest Tab Note 10.1!!
but as far as hardware specs goes, of course Note 10.1..if only I can afford it now (money gone to my newest toy Nexus 7!)
Just a question: how are you going to upgrade your tablet? Is it a kind of an offer?
For me, I am an owner of both Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Note 10.1. For design, the Tab 10.1 is thinner, lighter, and has more solid feeling.
But I think it is worth to get the Note 10.1 because it is far much better in terms of:
- Performance: Note 10.1 is amazingly faster, has much better response to touch, especially that the note has Quad Core processor with 2 GB of RAM vs Dual Core processor and 1 GB of RAM on the Tab 10.1.
- WACOM technology: You are now using a tablet and a notebook, and you will no more need a paper an a pen. Whereas the Tab 10.1 only uses the standard stylus with response issues.
- Brighter display on the Note 10.1.
- You can have phone calls and send SMS and MMS using the Note 10.1, but not the Tab 10.1.
- Multi-Screen multi-tasking is amazing.
In short, yes it worth the upgrade if you are looking for better performance and a replacement for papers and pens, and especially worth it if you are having this device for learning and education. Galaxy Tab 10.1 has performance issues, and it has lags and not very fluid like in other tablets.

It is perfectly designed. I love the "S Note" app very much. It is definitely of high performance. No lags what so ever.
BTW, there are some software additions to Note 10.1 in ICS that are not present in the ICS of Tab 10.1. For example, the "Remote Controls" of finding out a lost Note 10.1 is not available for Tab 10.1 - the so called SamsungDive. Also, lock screen options like putting "Stock" information or "News", or weather on the lock screen is not present in the Tab 10.1.
And that's plus more of them

Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G LTE, which I have, is unable of doing phone calls or sending simple SMS or MMS, in spite of the fact that I got ICS 4.0.4 on it!!
In short, seems like Samsung is not supporting their old Galaxy Tab 10.1 like it should be.
But you can do this with the 3G Note 10.1

Hey man! I did not know this was a signature, I couldn't guess it is kind of kidding, so I am sorry
BTW, the Note 10.1 is a very amazing product.
For whom asked about the Note 10.1 applications, I have extracted system.img file, and I will start by posting some familiar apps, but I am NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WHETHER THEY ARE NOT WORKING OR IF THE CAUSED HARM TO YOUR TAB
Since the apps are large, I will post them gradually by posting external links.
Samsung quality and displays are unmatched..in all of their product line.
The S-pen is so freaky cool.and the notes multi tasking windows is a huge productive plus.
If you want a notebook or net book substitute the note may do it for you.
Some one posted it matters on what you want to do with it and what your budget commands.
That is the answer.

That should be up to you and your needs. If you really need 3G, but want a more powerful tablet, you might have to invest in a different one.

oh my goodness, this guy is right. my friend also has the note and it seems a bit bulkier. The tab 10.1 still has that cutting edge look and is much more slim than its brother note. samsung is clever - they release new things and force people to think about upgrading, but it's just my opinion.

You know what its one of those things I don't use the 3g much but bet you when I haven't got it I will miss it or suddenly need it
Well had it for a few days now and its a great tab feels a bit heavy but its still a great tab the only downfall is without the 3g you suddenly realize how much you do use is and miss it so because of that am going to have to send it back and keep my galaxy 10.1 till I can get the 3g note. If anyone is coming from a wifi tab to this will be very pleased but if anyone is coming from a 3g tab then wait and try and get the 3g version

New Tablets no Note

Samsung has shown their new hi spec line-10.si and 8.4 inches but no new Note tablet. Does anyone think that they are done with the note line? Seems crazy but???

That 8.4 tab did look sweet.. but without the pen, no thanks..
Sent from my GT-N5110 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I don't expect to see a successor to the Note 8, which is really a shame because, as we all know, it's a great size for portability and s-pen use. I've been quite happy with mine. Especially after the S Tab announcement, for what ever reason, I think the 8.4 S Tab is the unofficial Note 8 successor.
However, I'm (possibly) in a different situation than most in that I have a Note 3 so I've got my S-pen there. The only thing I don't like about the Note series is I always feel like I'm limited to TW-based ROMS so that I don't lose s-pen functionality. I flashed an AOSP ROM once, but it just didn't feel right on the Note (at the time at least) since the s-pen and probably other features were unusable so I restored a nandroid of Civato's before long.
This is probably heretical to say here, but the S Tabs are exactly what I was hoping they would be (actually I was disappointed that the Tab Pro 8.4 didn't have those specs). I'm lusting after the new 8.4 hardcore... I've been considering a tablet upgrade for a while. Hardware-wise it's exactly what I had been wanting, including the lack of a pen, as I often feel sort of "limited" when browsing the development forums... however I definitely understand the disappointment of all those without another device with an s-pen to play with
Lastly, I've seen the new tabs dinged a mark because they have the S5 back. I haven't used an S5, but however the back feels, as long as it's solid and stays on, the texture just isn't a factor. My Note 3 has the nicest backplate that I've seen on a Samsung device... and it's covered by a case 100% of the time. I've got no gripes with the back of my Note 8 that I can recall, as it's covered by a case 100% of the time. I wonder what percent of users of these high-end devices use them caseless? I guess it's good to mention something like that in a review, but considering it a con (independent of overall build-quality) in a pros / cons list just seems totally irrelevant to the majority of users.
Has anyone heard anything about the different iterations of the new Tab S? The ones they're showing now are wifi only, but its mentioned that an LTE version is coming later. In the past, Samsung has always made a version of their tablets with telephony capability (though they were never released in the US). I use an N5100 as my primary cellphone, so I'm particularly interested in whether there will be a Tab S with phone functionality. I haven't seen this mentioned in any of the articles I've read.

Yes, we will get a Tab S with phone functionality. Saw it in a video by Android Authority on YouTube.
On phone, can't paste link...
Are you referring to SideSync? If so, that requires having a Samsung phone in addition to the tablet. I'm interested in using the Tab S solely as a smartphone. In other words, is the Tab S going to be like the Note i467 or the Note n5100?
We are closing this thread in favor of the 19 page thread already in progress here:

Merge the Tab S with the Note product line already.

Isn't that the best course of action Samsung could take?
Sure it'll be more expensive...unless Samsung could...I don't know... somehow shave down costs by deleting some TW feature(s) and inserting those costs savings in the merger of the 2 product lines?
This is not a Samung bashing thread, I just want to know your opinions about this topic.
Write down what you think's the best course of action.

Thats what Ive been saying for a year. It took a year for me to get a 32 gigabyte 8.4 inch s-series. I'm pretty upset today with Samsung anyways due to the fact I own almost everything in the Note series I had a Note 8.0 which I give to my mom, I had a Note 3 which I sold to upgrade to the nNote 4 and the Note Edge which I love. I have the 2014 Note 10.1, and Note Pro 12.2. The unveiling in a week will now not be 2 Notes. One Note 5 and the S6 Edge! I wanted a Note Edge 2 soooo bad! Then Samsung decides to make the new Notes like the S series...No more removable battery and NOOO MORE Sd Card slots! This was my breaking point. I read every form known to man and I listen to the people all year say that if the note 5 does not have a slot for an SD card or if you can't remove the back for the battery this is going to be a problem with Samsung in no way listened to the people. Also thousands of people were waiting for the Note Edge 2! I don't understand why they just don't listen to what the people want. I have all my device is rooted because I like custom ROMs and I like themes I like tweaking my device I've spent close to $5000 on Samsung merchandise in just the last couple years, only to the watch them not listen to the people.... @DionWhite33 tbh I loved Samsung now I am going to buy anything but Samsung until they fix many things. They are stupidly slow at updating software and also the updates on their devices has no order. I bought my Note 10.1 2014 in January 2014 and havnt heard a single thing about a new note 10.1 tablet since. Becoming a stupid company and its nice to see them lose share in the industry maybe they will wake up before its too late as they made some great devices in the past hence I own a Note 10.1 and also the S3. But my next tablet and phone wont be Samsung unless they change their mentality.

Yes it's a shame that Samsung's leaving out the sd card and removable battery, but if we get an extremely optimised OS in return for it, then I won't complain. I can work around the sd card limitations, but I refuse to work with a stuttering peace of junk.
Wow 5000 spent? You must really love Samsung lol.
Maybe a normal tablet is the way to go, and use a capacitive stylus with it(jot pro or something)
But I can't think of an excellent Android tablet at the moment that doesn't start with Samsung or Sony.

Yea it's a shame really, the original note was a super hero... But then the note 2014 upgraded the hardware but the software seemed to have slowed down or something like that. Either way it didn't feel the same way as the original one.
I'm never going to buy another Samsung device (in 10 years maybe) because of their negligence of not properly optimising this tablet and just pushing out non critical incremental updates.
the only difference that I can see between a kitkat update from mid 2014 and late 2015 is the addition of a kinetic/friction movement effect on the floating window icons (when you try to swipe away an icon).

This. I'm a pennable tablet nutjob and have gone through so many machines now to find that "ultimate" note taking device for school. The Note 10.1 is just the perfect size and weight (IMO). I've realized at school I'll do just fine with an Android tablet considering when I go home I have a powerful desktop to work from. OneNote Android will suffice as long as I import class lecture PDF/PPTs on my desktop the night before class.
At the moment, this Note or the 12.2 are the only options with true active digitizer support. No other manufacturer is targeting note-takers, it's sad. I'd be all over a Sony tablet if they offered one with a wacom digitizer.
I really think the note tablet is dead, Samsung just doesn't seem interested. They released the tab A with spen but it's mid tier. I would buy it as I am being sold on the 4:3 dimensions but there is literally no development. It's not like we can count on Samsung to upgrade this. It sits at lollipop and will maybe get android M when N has been out for over 6 months
Possibilty of a tablet @ note's event
Apperently samsung'll introduce a tablet at the note's event:
www.slashgear.com/galaxy-note-5-event-may-have-a-tablet-too-06395831/
Let's hope its not a 7 inch tablet like the article suggests.
