Is it just the kernel from the stock rom?

A reset kernel is normally referred to as your roms stock kernel. So if your running stock then yes. If your running a custom ROM e.g slimbean then its slimbeans stock kernel.

Kernels? Stock Jellybean?

Do the developers have what they need for custom kernels or porting 4.3 jb? If not, what is needed, and is it expected to come?

4.3 compatible custom kernels

Pretty confused about all the different kernels - used to have faux and KTkernel but wondering which kernels are compatible with 4.3 XXUBMJ5

JB+custom kernel or KK

Just wondering how you all think JB roms with custom kernels are stacking up against KK roms on stock kernel.
