Is it just the kernel from the stock rom?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2

A reset kernel is normally referred to as your roms stock kernel. So if your running stock then yes. If your running a custom ROM e.g slimbean then its slimbeans stock kernel.

What kernel are you using, including version number? For now it might help to disable hw overlays in developer options.

From semaphore kernel op:
1.5.0 (26/07/2013)
- Rebased on JB 4.3 (JWR66V) kernel. It should be used only on stock JWR66V.
Are you using a JSS15J build of 4.3? If so, that is your problem. Check Settings - About phone.

Why no rom with perseus kernel by default?

Is it not allowed by anreilux or what? I have searched but couldn't find any tom with persues being used out of tge box. We have to flash the kernel manually

The krenel which the rom will have is.up to the developer to decide, and most of them stays with the stock one, however, as you said, you can always flash it yourself fairly easy

You can flash it, simple. And you also flash another kernel as wanam kernel.

Can someone help me with flashing kernel on custom ROM (OMNI)? I'm new to all these
Agni kernel is the best
i have tried all kernels for 4.4 TW roms so so far i can say agni is the best ,you have a lot of options and the most important thing i was annoyed by the crisp photo in gallery (samsung ****) and in this kernel u can found an option to deactivate it.
Agni Kernel works great for me on DN3 Rom.. Great battery life too
