Not sure what you mean by "reset", but you can remove scanned fingerprints.
Settings > Fingerprint > "Fingerprint Manager" > Menu (3 dot icon) at top right > Deregister > Select the Fingerprint > Delete (trash icon @ top right) > OK
Lockscreen should default to swipe.
Is there a way to reset your pin if you can't get into it it won't let you in at all

Hello,
For those wanting to use Nova Launcher and still retain the double tap 'KnockOff' feature, I finally got it working via the procedure below. Note that this requires the paid version of Nova.. Hope this helps someone!
1. Download "Turn off the Screen" from the play store (it is free)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=turn.off.the.lights&hl=en
2. Open the installed app and click "Enable Now"
3. Open up Nova Settings -> Gestures and buttons -> Double tap -> Shortcuts -> Activities
4. Scroll to "Turn off the Screen" and expand the options. Choose "Turn Off The Screen : LockerActivity"
That's it. You should now be able to click anywhere on the nova desktop without an app / widget and it will turn off the screen as the stock LG KnockOff does. Note that I began with the "Screen Off and Lock" app, but this ignored the LG setting to not lock the screen for 10min and forces immediate PIIN entry upon unlock.
Cheers
If you knock on the status bar, the screen turns off with nova....no special software needed
Can the knock knock be turned off completely?

iirc it's in the display settings
This can also be done pretty easily with Nova and Tasker. Love this feature. I almost never have to use the hard buttons on this phone.
Excellent..

TASKER
add task
name » "knockoff" (or anything else)
add action

run shell
command » "input keyevent 26"
use root » checked

You can try Screen Off and Lock from playstore, in Nova Double Tap Gesture activies take MainHelper from Screen Off and Lock.
Beautiful
It really works.
I have the screen pinning feature enabled but when I tap the pin icon on recent menu, nothing happens, the app doesn't get pinned. Is the feature working for any of you?
To enable: Settings -> More -> Security and scroll down to the bottom where you'll find an option "Pin Windows"
PS: I'm on Android 5.0.1 build ending with HOD3, Stock Lollipop
No its not working here also... I don't think they have activated it hope the micro update will fix it
Which rom ru using??
Screen pinning is not made available on stock touchwiz rom...
Im using @frapeti 's CM12.1 rom with lollipop 5.1.1 sources
Screen pinning works der...
And no unpinning problems at all
Give a try to it....
You'll love it
Settings --> my device --> accessibility --> dexterity and interaction --> interaction control (enable). Then just go into an app you want to pin and hold vol - and home button at the same time and select "done". To unpin do the same thing. (NOTE: You need to disable multi-window for this to work)

Thanks for the tip. I was just wondering why the native Lollipop Pinning isn't working on stock lollipop.

There is a way to enabling both of them? More precisely, to reduce the screen size to facilitate one hand use, and keeping the gestures in the fingerprint sensor working.
Perhaps an intent to launch stock one hand mode without using the navbar gesture?
Tried modifying overscan settings with disappointing results.

Looking for exactly the same feature, but I guess it is not possible until the moto app gets updated to use this feature or an other app provides this functionality.
Taker + AutoInput
I manage to keep using the gestures by using taker + auto input, but the navbar will keep on screen

Interesting, it can work for me. Can you share the profile, or a brief explanation for your solution?

I don't use tasker, yet, but I will do so in the future, as it seems to be a very powerful tool and almost the only option for real customization. I will try it then. Thanks so far! Where exactly is specified that the finger print reader is the key that is used? Or what exactly does your script do?

I made some tests with Tasker to find the specific code that's it's trigger when we do swipes on the finger print reader.
%aikeycode = 292 (Left Swipe)
%aikeycode = 287 (Single Tap)
%aikeycode = 291 (Right Swipe)
What doesn't make sense is on the E5 plus you can do both because the gesture to shrink in from the middle of the screen. Why would Moto not do that for the G5 plus?
