[Q] LG G2 Softbrick after wipe, Flashtool Keeps Saying READY - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everybody,
I softbricked my phone after wiping it from TWRP. Then i went here and tried the second method because the first didn't worked:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
And the LG FlashTool keeps on showing the "READY!" signal in Port 1. Already set the device to com41 but it won't restore to stock. What to do? Please help me ASAP. thanks.

[HELP] G2 Stuck at LG logo!

Hey guys, whats up? I have a D805 G2, then today I decided to install PA. First I wiped all the system, then flashed the ROM and the GApps, so it was time to do the reboot and I did, but what happened was that the G2 was stuck at the LG logo and the LEDs where blue and green, so i waited 3 hours to see what was going to happen, but nothing happened, then I started to look for some tutorials to solve the problem, first tried through ADB and it didn't worked, after that I tried through the Download Mode, don't worked again, then I tried flasing through FlashTool, guess what? Didn't worked! Anyone here now how to solve the problem?
PS: ADB don't recognize more the G2.
PS2: Sorry for my bad english :good:

How about this method? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2471370
I was in the same boat as you with the logo and flashing LED and this worked for me on my T-Mobile G2. Are you on the latest drivers from LG? Make sure to upgrade through the options menu.

[Q] LG G2 bricked, with disabled usb debugging ( PLEASE HELP!)

I rooted my lg g2 D802, put cwm recovery and flashed cyanogenmod 11. It worked perfectly for 80 hours, when my battery died. I tried to recharge it but my phone won't boot anymore, I only see lg logo. I can't get into recovery, but i can get into download mode. I tried flashing stock ROM through PC but it doesn't work. PC recognizes phone in ports but when I start Flashtool it just says "Waiting for Connection". After reading tons of threads about bricked phones, it seems that phone has to have USB debugging enabled. When i flashed cyanogenmod USB debugging was disabled. And now my phone is bricked with USB debugging disabled.
Please help me to restore my phone, I'm desperate now. I've been trying various methods for 3 days and nothing seems to work. What should I do?
I managed to recover my phone.

Please tell how, I'm trying to unbrick my phone for hours..
If you have lg logo use lg support tool. I had the same problem and it restores my phone to factory firmware. Dont get scared if you see a lot of ?????????? On lg suppor tool. Just look for the options.....check where the options are before connecting phone because when plugged letters change to ??????. Works 100% for me.
Sent from my LG-D801 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
My case is different, here's the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2694212

To be completely honest, I'm not sure how exactly did I manage to unbrick it. I tried to dig something with adb and fastboot. I don't know what exactly did I do but I didn't get any visible result. In my desperation I tried to enter recovery (power + down) once again (after at least 10 attempts during these 3 days) and it somehow worked. Then I flashed ROM that was already in my memory. It seems that my problem was consequence of OTA update.
I'm new with android so I'm still noob. I'm sorry that I can't help more.
i have a same problem if u solve it
Did you try doing an upgrade recovery using LG Mobile Support Tool on Windows 7 machine?

STUCK at LG Logo, NO Download mode..Please HELP!!

hi all,
I have posted my G2 problem in another thread but was hoping more people can see it and help me...
PHONE Stuck at LG Logo after power up.
NO Download Mode,
here goes..
Believed I was conned... and this could be what happened to my LG G2 'D802':
my mobile is actually a D801 phone (motherboard) NOT D802 but loaded with D802 ROM
Phone was flashed (by me) with D802 ROM to remove error "Unfortunately, the process com.android.systemui has stopped" caused by corrupted Build.Prop system file during some editing.
touch screen error after new ROM was flashed (tried many diff roms), likely due to incompatible phone settings.
unable to flash D801 kdz since the phone was configured to 'D802', incorrect model detected while trying to flash.
managed to get a D801 TOT file that can resolved the incompatible model issue
Flash completed, phone rebooted..STUCKED at LG LOGO!
pressed Vol+ and USB cable, cannot enter download mode...stucked..
Factory reset using hardware keys, same problem..
please help ! any suggestion/s would be greatly appreciated!! thank you!!

use flashtool with another *dll
His download mode is not functional.
When in factory reset - connect to pc(does it throw errors or add a new device?)
If yes..then - read this
If no then still read it.

Just plug your cable to usb. Turn off phone and inmediately hold the button up and ull be in download mode.
Or If U have 801 rom try to root your phone and do recovery as 801 phone, after flash 802 rom !

[Q] Please help! Boot loop and recovery error!

Hi. I have a Verizon LG G2 VS980, which I rooted a few days ago. I had some trouble flashing TWRP and that has caused some issues now. When my phone is turned on, it just recycles the Verizon animation. When I try to do a hard reset, I get a "secure booting error" and then the phone turns off. When I go into download mode to possibly download firmware updates it just sits at 0%. I'm completely lost and can't seem to find any help that is unique to my problem. If you can help, please leave very detailed instructions. Thank you.

I did the KDZ method, but the LG Mobile Support Tool stops and says "lost connection to server". Then I click retry and it stops at 2% and says "Upgrade stopped due to an error". I've retried many times. Also, I made sure to download the KDZ file under Verizon. I don't understand.

Kdz should be fine.
LG Mobile Support Tool?? You should be using LG FLASH TOOL mentioned in the post.
Did u download all the files and drivers needed?
To enter Download Mode press and holding vol up key insert the usb cable.
If Normal flash doesnt work try CSE flash located at the bottom of the tool.

Strange problem!!
Try uninstalling LG Mobile Support Tool and try again every step very carefully.
If that also fails, hope u got warranty, so take it to service center and i think its the best option as of now.

The same thing was happening to mine! All I did to fix it was....
1. Make sure its turned off by holding the power button until the lg logo stops popping up
2. Hold down Power button+Volume down at the same time
3. Let go of both when you see the lg logo come up and quickly hold down on the power button again
4. From here a white screen will come up saying something like (to factory reset press the power button)
5. After you press it TWRP or Clockwork revovery will come up depending on what you installed
6. Recover your backup
I really hope this helped you!

Help my lg g2 wiped internal storage

okay. hi im new and i really need your help to fix my lg g2. im not really good with these kind of stuff so i hope you all can help me.
i have a LG D802 (international version) 4.4.2 kitkat
here is what happened:
1.) i rooted my device using towelroot app and it was successful
2.) i installed autorec
3.) i backup my data
4.) i flashed the cloudy g3 rom
5.) i noticed my apps weren't there so i restored my backup
6.) all hell went lose. whenever i try to boot my phone i get stuck at the LG logo screen with "Security Error" at the bottom
7.) i went to recovery mode using hard buttons (TWRP)
8.) i accidentally wiped everything. everything that can be wiped there i checked and wiped em all.
9.) now im stuck in recovery mode
i was supposed to try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 but i cant turn my phone off to go to download mode. i have all files for this method ready.
i asked around and one said that i can use and otg cable and reflash cloudy g3 rom. but then i have no otg cable right now and would have to wait tomorrow to get one. will this even work?
i really hope someone can spend time to help me. thanks
Have you tried using OTG ??
With OTG cable connect Your pendrive to your cell and see !! Reboot to TWRP and flash the rom that you needed It should work :good:
i got a new situation. now im in download mode and it isnt moving at all. still at 0%. how long does this usually take?
