It's highly unlikely that you phone doesn't have a stock boot logo. That image inside the bootloader and seldom modified. You probably mean the splash screen or possibly the boot animation. There are mulriple stock versions of borh and you gave no details or description of which one you are seeking.
Then there is the way that you asked for this. Complaining that it's not enough to provide it, but it has to be packaged just so, so that you don't need to click more than once or twice to install it. Why is it better that we waste our time accommodating you, than you spending your more valuable time reading a thread to learn how to install the file?
Perhaps someone else will spoon feed you. I'm going to go help someone more reasonable.

There are a lot of people here that go out of their way to help people. All we ask for is some details, so that we can effectively help you. How you expect us to help you if you don't describe your situation is beyond me. And speaking for myself, I'd rather help people that attempted to solve their issue or at least tried a search and have a reasonable attitude.
About your "boot logo".. I'm still confused about what you want. You mentioned "powered by android" but it wasn't clear if that was a reference to the initial screen after boot or custom text that you added to one of the other boot screens.
A stock boot sees an initial black screen with white text of the model number and powered by android moniker. Followed by an optional, carrier dependent splash screen. Then a boot animation. Both Google and XDA have abundant images of each. Can you post an image or at least describe better what you are looking for?

That is what you want? Then you really do want the boot logo, although you described it poorly. That is very unusual, it's an image seldom changed.
This is a jpg image inside the bootloader. And since you pleaded for the easy way out, you really want the stock bootloader, not the image per se.
The best way for you to obtain this is to download the stock firmware and get it from there. Here's why: if someone sends you the wrong file you are at high risk of bricking your phone. If you think taking the easy way out is worth that risk.. well, carry on.
But first you will have to specify what bootloader version you need. A random version would be all but certain to (flip a coin) fail to flash or brick your phone.

So, You're telling me.....
That you have a SM-G900F (Snapdragon S5)
AND that you changed the boot logo.
That has never been done, there is no way to change the boot logo for snapdragon.....
only for exynos
maybe you have SM-G900H?
But that isn't possible

ive had the G900P for just shy of 3 years and changing the splash screen has led to a dead end every time ive tried. i think its a lost cause as the image is in the tar.md5 and modifying that can lead to a permabricked device if you flash a corrupted file
best suggestion grab four files flash 4.4.2 and the pit also and flash through odin

Hi there.
I have a rooted Acer iconia a500 running android 4.0.4
This information is off the about tablet screen under settings.
Kernel version:
3.1.10-digetx-thor-4.6
[email protected]) )
#411 SMP PREEEMPT Mon Jun 11 23:56:23 EEST 2012
CyanogerMod Version:
Tegraowners ICS ROM v170 (thor & digetx)
Build number:
full_a500-userdebug 4.0.4 IMM76L eng.thor2002ro.20120612.10401.8 test keys
This information is off the recovery screen.
CWM Recovery v5.5.0.x(thor2002ro/digetx rev1.7.3) Iconia A50x
Kernel:
3.1.10-digetx-thor-4.4micro
Bootloader: 0.03.14-MUL
What I am wanting to do now is change the kernel image that shows up as soon as you turn the tablet on. (NOT the boot animation - I have disabled this)
Have got the acer usb driver installed on PC (windows 7) and can see the tablet fine.
Any help would be mint.
Thanks :good:
You can't do anything but contacting the kernel developers and ask them for changing the kernel image for you. However, I doubt they'll do that. You are using their kernel for free, which is presumably the best available for the A500; to my opinion, it is a matter of politeness to accept that they want to document the use of their kernel by means of a kernel image, which is visible only during boot up.
WIth best regards, maris
You want to change the kernel name on boot?
Sorry, but I have to think about this.
Are you referring to the Skirlx_CZ bootloader?

The 1st screen you see is all green and only lasts for about 2 seconds with text at top that says Skrillax_CZ's Bootloader V8. Booting primary kernel image. I will keep that, Its the 2nd image that shows up for about 20 seconds before the lock screen shows up.
Here is a photo of the screen I want to change. Would like a Acer logo or Android logo there.

Get the ramdisk seperated of the zImage . And look into the ramdisk , probably you find the image there. But how to do that , read and learn as I don't want to write the whole thing up.
@bluezone09..... Not 100% that this is what you are wanting but if you look at Post #5 by "jdgM3NT4L" at the attached link, it might help you out.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1753097
Thanks both of you. will read it up and give it a go.
Will let you know how I get on. :good:
Go doing that tut on that link and got to the part dump your BCT in blackthund3r and I get a popup Microsoft.net Framework Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Contine. the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediatly. Cound not find 'bct.dec'.
Any ideas about this?
Thanks
Dont worry I sorted it. I didnt have debugging enabled on tablet.
Ok finished the tut on that link all went fine. This is my new screen.
But still getting this screen popping up after the one I just edited.
Any ideas?
Thank again for the help.
Also here is a screenshot of my setup at moment.
@bluezone09..... Glad you were able to achieve what you have done. At the risk of putting some people's noses out of joint and without pointing fingers at anyone ... If you have followed the TUT faithfully (and from what you have published it seems you have) then I would suggest your one remaining problem is a result of using the Tegraowners ICS rom. I installed Skrylax's v.8 unlocked ICS bootloader then flashed Civato's "Flexreaper RF1" rom and have had no problems installing several different "boot screens". Several people on the forum who I have spoken to using various ICS custom roms (excluding thor's ICS rom) have also had no problems after following the TUTORIAL. Seems to me you may have to live with it or flash a new rom.
Thanks metpolds.
Is this the right one? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1517181
Download this? http://www.theandroidcollective.org/civato/FLEXREAPER-RELIX_rev5.zip
Still wanting to have the overclocking options in settings like I have at moment.
This is what you want. It's a superb bootanimation thread started by metpolds.
Returning the [email protected] at the same time too, priceless.
Be sure to browse through the thread. There are a ton of really sweet ones. And...
Don't forget to hit the thanks button when you get there. Those guys have invested some serious time making that thread as great as it is.
Thats for boot animations. I have disabled mine under settings/system/performance Disable boot animation for fast boot.
If I enable it I get the cyanogemon9 blue man animation. Like this. Loads slower to.
@bluezone09..... Your last two posts raise a number of questions and I apologise in advance if my answers seem overly lengthy and convoluted but I tried to make them understandable so as not to raise further questions in your mind.
(1) The first rom reference you quote (Civato's "Flexreaper RF1") is the one I am currently using and I find it does everything I want, by default it overclocks to 1.2 Ghz. Now if you wish to overclock further then my advice is somewhat suspect because I am not in any way an expert on overclocking... but I believe you have a choice of either installing the app "SetCPU" or if you use thor's recovery then there is an option in the recovery for overclocking. If you read what Civato has written in the rom thread I believe he makes comments and suggestions regarding overclocking his roms.
(2) The second rom reference refers to Civato's "Relix" rom which basically seems a variation of his RF1 rom and is stripped of many "bloated" features. Your web reference refers to "theandroidcollective.org" site which is probably great however I prefer to use Civato's own XDA thread in the Development Section. Again in the thread there are suggestions re overclocking etc.
(3) Just a reminder... if you are still using a HC bootloader then replace it with an ICS bootloader before flashing a new rom.
(4) A lot is written about bootanimations delaying or holding up the boot time. I personally don't believe this to be true or at least if it happens at all it is only a delay of 1 or 2 seconds at most. This I have proved to my own satisfaction by running a big animation with several parts and finding that the "start/boot screen" will display even though the animation is still running, it stops the animation without waiting for it to end and the tab boots. You mention using "settings/system/performance" to kill your animation... of course you can do this but I prefer to delete the file "bootanimation.zip" from either ... /data/local...OR... /system/media. Of course instead of deleting it you can rename it "oldbootanimation.zip" or something similar and put in your own animation.
(5) Not to teach you how to suck eggs but remember to rename any animation to bootanimation.zip (exact wording) and place it in either... /data/local... OR... /system/media
(6) "jdgM3NT4L" kindly refers you to my thread in the "Themes and Apps" section. If you look there for possible anims you might like, may I suggest you start at the last page and work backward in that way you will see the most recent offerings that have been posted. "jdgM3NT4L" is too modest to blow his own trumpet but if you look at Page 45 Post #441 you will see an anim he posted with a "Star Wars" theme which is really cool.
Please note that I have never flashed thor's roms so I can't guarantee that all I have said above will apply to his work.

Ok Trebuchet Launcher is not very happy on FLEXREAPER. keep getting Trebuchet has stopped message on homescreen.
I just finished helping recovering another tablet from an animation bootloop and I figured it might be a good idea to start a thread and share what we've figured out with the community.
If my tablet was bootlooping and I didn't really want to do a whole lot of crazy steps I'd try installing from update.zip before doing all of this. There's plenty of information about that around. But if you find that for whatever reason the stock recovery is totally borked or whatever this method should help.
First. You have to know that this will wipe your tablet. So hopefully you've got backup. Also we need to hope that you have you SBK. If not there is a little on that later. This should work on any A500 with any bootloader. Also I didn't include much about installing from update.zips or how to recover your U.I.D. from your sd card. Those are covered in detail in other threads and are easy to find.
Also. If you have a functioning recovery you do not need this guide. At all.

Hello!
I was about to unroot and get back to stock with my A500 so I flashed a stock ROM via CWM to get a ota-update. Before i had a custom ICS ROM installed and now I installed a HC stock ROM. The problem is that i forgot to go through the wipe menu in CWM before the flash and now when I start up my tablet I first see the ACER logo as usual, then a android text-logo which the tablet is stuck at. I've waited 20 minutes and is still shows the same thing. The logo has an animation which i still can see. I've tried to restart the tablet and get into CWM again without succes.
I have read different threads for several hours but I can't find my problem. What should I do? :crying:

Here is a brief overview.
What you are trying to do is get into recovery, wipe properly and flash your stock rom. You are going to...
Get the tablet into APX mode.
Use Blackthund3rs APX tool with bundle number 17 and flash it.
Once it flashes and you restart immediately go into recovery.
Don't let the tablet boot or it will instantly erase the recovery that we just installed.
Ok. First get blackthund3rs tool fired up. There is an attachment at the end for this.

}
Choose Bundle Market. and say yes to this...
Hit the View Bundles Tab.
Choose bundle number 17.
Choose to stage the download for flash.
Once it is finished with this...
It will ask for your SBK.
Choose to use the default BCT.
From here follow the onscreen directions for the manual method to enter APX.
Now this is the key to the whole process.
When the tablet reboots you must be holding the volume down button so that it enters directly into CWM.
If you miss it and you see the bootanimation, it will be too late and you will have to start all over.
So when you get to the PASS screen. and you power it off. Don't forget to be holding that volume button when it restarts automatically.
After that it should be as easy and entering the wipe menus, then flash your rom.
I've done this one at least three different tablets and it works everytime.
Good Luck. Please let me know if I can help with any of this.

Ok. In the state that your tablet is in getting the serial number (U.I.D./SBK) will be difficult at best unless we get lucky. It is normally pretty easy to find when the tablet has USB debugging enabled. With a new install of a stock rom there is zero chance that your tablet has that enabled.
Soooo...
Hopefully when you've had your tablet connected to your pc it saved the U.I.D. or serial. Or you have a Nandroid backup or some other CWM log. You can find the serials on the sd card for those easily enough. The serial can then be changed into the sbk easily.
If you don't have any of those and you have had your tablet connected to your pc at one time or another, you can try this...
Go to this webpage http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html and scroll way way down to near the bottom and get the program. It is called USBDeview.
Once it downloads extract the whole zip to your desktop. It should be in a folder and have three files inside.
Open the file USBDeview and then first thing choose the options tab/button and uncheck "Display Devices Without Port/Serial Number".
Then make it sort by Description by clicking the words at the header of the list that says " Description". Finally look for an entry about A500, or Acer Iconia A500. Hopefully you see those. Look in the columns to the right and find the column titled "Serial Number". There may be multiple entries. But you can be sure that the one that you need will have 16 digits.
If that doesn't show any results, do this. Sort by "VendorID" ( 1 ). Then look for "VendorID" 0502 that has "ProductID" 3325 ( 2 ). It should show A500 or Acer Iconia A500 ( 3 ) Look in the serial number column if you match those IDs. It will be your serial number/U.I.D. (Thanks to sc2k for sharing this!)
If you do find the number then you are home free.
What you will do now is convert your serial/U.I.D. to an SBK. You can go here and download the program to your pc. Run it and enter your serial number.
If not then there is quite a bit of work ahead. But don't give up. It can still be fixed. And as an added bonus you'll get to play around in Linux...
That thread is here. srbeen posted a great guide and there isn't much that I can add that would help.

Once you've completed his guide you should be ready for just about anything. Maybe even world domination. Good Luck.
Nice job with screenshots.
Remember, there is a difference between "bootloop" and "boot animation loop".
Bootloop, is when the device tries to enter the OS, and boots back to the bootloader and original sequence. Over and over.
Boot animation loop, is where the animation continues to loop, is usually caused by bad data that didn't get wiped. Can also be caused by a bad kernel.
Stuck at the Acer screen, is a different matter.
3 different animals. 3 different solutions.
However, any person who puts together a guide, should deserve looking at. The steps are sound and I am sure they will help some users.
Thanks!

But a good job, and I am sure, it will help others!
And we welcome all guides that help with these things.
Oh, more to your thing, Boot loop. or boot animation, can also be caused by running an ICS rom, on an HC bootloader. Which is more inline with your guide.
Again, good job Mate.

Appreciate the comments, especially when they help keep things clear.
I've never been good at seeing all of the angles, so I'm glad your proofing it for me.
So no worries. And Thanks!
But I've been thinking about it, and this might be a good place to start when repairing any of the issues mentioned. If nothing else it is a near foolproof way to get into a working recovery, albeit with a custom ICS bootloader. But that's pretty easy to get past as well if stock bootloader/rom is what's desired.
So basically, if a working recovery is the goal, it should help.
Hello all!
I have been a long time lurker, since the release of the Galaxy S3. I thought I had an account here but when I tried logging in I was told my credentials were invalid. Here is the situation. I tried to root my girlfriends phone and forgot to enable USB Debugging. Now it's stuck on the message that says; "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again." I have been scouring this forum for 2 days just about and I can't seem to find a situation like mine, a little like mine but not exactly like mine. I never really posted because any issue I've had, I have been able to fix by scouring the forums but this one is different.
I've downloaded Kies and tried to do an emergency recovery but it keeps saying the phone isn't recognized. I've tried every step but it keeps failing on me near the end. I've used Odin and it fails every time and I don't think I can boot into recovery mode. I can boot into the screen with the big droidbot where it say "DO NOT TURN OFF TARGET" but I can't boot into the actual recovery mode where I can use the volume keys to wipe cache or anything else.
Any help will be appreciated. Sorry I haven't engaged in the customary 4play before diving right in but we are on vacation in Puerto Rico and check out is in an hour. I want to get it up and running before that. I'm glued to my laptop so any thing you need to know that might help you to help me, please ask.

Can you give us a little more information on the model of the phone? And what firmware she was currently running with the problem occurred?

Sounds like you borked your stock recovery. Dependening on which firmware you were on flash the stock recovery in PDA slot in Odin:
MK2:https://mega.co.nz/#!E0kmzJLJ!Ftv1rwI68IU847kxATj9MF45ykUPlmyCUOF6OXs0HdY
NB1:https://mega.co.nz/#!M9EQBT5A!ri4QeMYpgi-JjmUGZ3FY2gtogDBWPEL7zRCjASIcVe8
Download latest firmware and use Odin to flash said firmware. Should fix the problem
Sent from my HTC6600LVW using xda app-developers app
It's a Samsung Galaxy S4 SGH-I337 and she was running KitKat 4.4.2 when it went brick. I'll try the steps outlined and let you guys know how it goes.
So I tried flashing using Odin and here is what I got. I said PIT file was missing so I loaded a PIT file and what you see is what I saw.

Not so fast lol. I had to leave our rented house and now we are at her parents house before we leave in the morning. I shouldn't have rushed out but we were out of time. Now the screen stops at the AT&T logo and it turns orange. It won't start up to the actual OS. Any help with that? I can get to recovery mode and download mode but nothing more.
On a side note, while I was driving over here this situation made me want to learn more and the fact that you guys love helping so much makes me want to learn more about my phone and taking advantage of it. I'm going to find a profile picture to customize my profile because once I hit the states I think I'm going to participate a lot more. I just saw some custom themes that blew my mind!
Just noticed it gets extremely hot when it let it sit on the frozen orange logo screen.

Thank you! All I have are the MK2 files. I'll wait until I get to an actual wifi spot to download that because I've almost chewed up most of my cell bandwidth for the month. A 1.5GB hit won't help.
Also I just noticed the thank you button so I'm going to give thanks for everyone that has helped. It's appreciated!
Wait, I have the rooted NB1 image V2.0. Can I use that? Problem is, every time I try and use it, Odin crashes.
These are the last steps I was following before it bricked it accidentally. I have all these files.

I recommend you flash the 4.4 NB1 full odin tar to get your back up and running. From there you can take your time and do some reading and make sure you understand before flashing anything else. As long as newbies make an attempt to search and read most people here are glad to answer questions. Good luck

There is a plethora of data here that I mine through every few weeks. Up until this newest update my phone has been rooted since I got it with SU, Titanium Backup etc but I guess I have to keep up with what's new. You live and you learn I guess. lol, i was thinking the same thing. Would not like to be him right now.
So I bougjt an LG G2 (international - D802) and I f***ed it up a bit.... Sadly it can not be fixed for some reason. It is stuck in fast boot mode, and I can not boot into recovery or download mode.... So I bought another LG G2 but this time an verizon. (32gb) And I'm planning on combining the 2 together because the verizon has an cracked screen and an not reacting touchscreen. So I want to replace the verizon's screen with an international one. So is there something I need to know? I just really want my g2 to work again..... It has been broken for about 3 months now....
Please help, because I don't want to break another g2
That isn't so nice that you couldnt use it for 3 months. I dont know what you should watch on since so far as i know only that there are 2 display variants lgd/jdi but there isnt an different digitizer on the phone so far as i know. The only thing that would be maybe is that the verizon logo is missing on the front if the original had one. To be sure that there aren't differences google about it and google the displays and see if you can see a difference on the display's. With that i mean differences with the cables, the parts on the digitizer/display and the pcb(greenish thing most time where the parts are on. I can't really find it out for you since i need to sleep now because its 3:02 AM, I hope that i helped you and that you can fix your problem. If i will remember it then i will make an research on it and i will post it here if you couldnt find if its possible or not. ?

Compare the 2 Pictures you can also magnify it, the only difference i saw was in the small cable up in the pictures so far as i know that part is for the touchscreen to control the above half i believe. So the only difference between these 2 are the touchscreen i think, you can open and try it but i don't think it will work. Maybe you can describe more about your fastboot problem and we could fix your device?

@FritsPikee try these things to get out of fastboot mode:
The first one which is also suggested by me post #132:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2680150&page=14
Btw, Download the stock img files from here if you have d802: http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G2/D802/Stock_Firmware
Just execute all those things but i think that you can use TWRP instead of the original recovery or some other kind of recovery But i am not sure
so do that recovery thing at your own risk :/
or if that doesn't work try this one but its not really well explained.: see fix 4: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2694530
If you have some other fastboot mode problem then reply again to this thread or add me on Facebook:Wulsic then i can also help you maybe with it.

Sorry for the late reaction, but this is what happend;
I wanted to backup my whole system just in case something would go wrong. So I installed cwm and when I booted my phone in recovery mode it was giving me a 'secure boot error'. But I accidently made a backup with the cwm error (I thought it was still the original recovery but it wasn't) then iI installed twrp 2.7 for lg g2 and that worked just great =). I made my backup. But then there was an software update from android (not google play) so I clicked on the 'install update notification' and my phone turned of and back on. but it booted in twrp instead of the original recovery (duh!) I looked it up on internet and found a command line I had to fill in in the twrp menu (something with 'dd if=/' etc). that fixed the problem but still the update wasn't installed. So I installed my old recovery back (the backup I made but what wasn't the original recovery. I installed the cwm 'secure boot error" recovery back). After I click again on the 'install update notification' my phone went in a bootloop with the 'secure boot error'
then I followed the Instructions in this tread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142 And I got it out of the secure boot error thingy, but than it got in the fastboot boot loop =( And that's the whole story ...
i hope you can go something with it! Again, sorry for the late reaction!

https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-s5
... the following area of the forum is specific to the Galaxy S5 (klte...) variants because of the "Unified Developments" that also include the Verizon GS5 (kltevzw) device.

Also (in case you may have wondered about it) the Verizon GS5 (kltevzw) device has the "Snapdragon" processor. Be sure NOT to use anything that falls under the "Exynos" category or similar.
I wish you the best of luck!

Quick question before I follow your suggested links - is there a quick way to determine what processor is in the phone? I distinctly remember the issue of the processors when rooting. AFAIK the only hardware info is G900V.05. When I booted into recovery with TI, no TWRP, etc., just the stock recovery screen.

1. It's impossible to update from 5.0 to 6.0 witout losing root. You will have to gain it again if possible.
2. Root is possible on 6.0 for G900V with Samsung EMMC chips.
3. You can check which chip your phone has with EMMC Brickbug Test app from the Market. Just run it and look at the first two figures in CID line on the info screen.
They will be 15 or 11.
15 - Samsung memory, root is possible on 6.0.
11 - Toshiba memory, root is impossible on 6.0.
For both variants root is possible on 5.0.

Glad to see it makes you happy.
Now you have to look around and decide what ROM you want.
Should it be a stock ROM or something other?
There're several good guides on flashing and rooting in Verizon Galaxy S 5 General section.
A) where is a good place to continue this discussion? I don't want to be OT B) I've managed to screw myself into the ground and somehow lost the basic ability to load anything via Odin. The problem's in the phone. I somehow landed in what seems to be an engineering version of 4.4.2. Which would be annoying but OK IF... Power/Home/Vol Down brought me to push Vol Up letting Odin do the rest. Instead, all I get is "Power Reset or Unknown Upload Mode". The only way out is the same three buttons (Pwr is ignored). Booting up, I get a generic Samsung background, across the bottom, four Andy's with 15 on one, possibly numeric keypad on the next, app drawer, HW on the next Andy, and FAIL on the last (oh how so true!).
Apps on the screen include CPUStress, Waterproof, SEMI, Factory IME, RX_AGC_LE and MIC2 Echo.
Where am I? How do I get back normal uploading? Odin has utterly no idea about how to do anything useful with the phone, although it acknowledges it's there. Ditto for file explorer on Win10.
Oh yeah, and I have a black window filled with yellow info describing the phone, memory, cameras, etc. The first two lines might help (or not):
PDA: FA44_G900VVRU2APA1
Phone: G900VVRU2AOI1
The window doesn't appear to close, move, or go away. Attempts to open the app drawer are covered by a not totally opaque black foreground.
"Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore."

I want to be back to a sane loader and 6.0.1. The instructions I followed clearly were brainless in recommending, after, G900VVRU2DQF2_G900VVZW2DQF2_G900VVRU2DQF2_HOME.tar.md5, using COMBINATION_VZW_FA44_G900VVRU2APA1_VZW2APA1_2572656_REV00_user_mid_noship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5. If I can flash the first file, I'll be back to 6.0.1 and then I can spend a lot more time planning rooting that.
As a side question, I assume that VZW's seriously locked code is still present on my S5, right?

Yes, "VZW's seriously locked code" is there forever.
But we're trained to live with it at present time.
Try to take the battery off for 10-20 sec, insert it back and boot to Odin mode.
But don't flash anything more, just tell me if there is any success.
No change. BTW, there's some text in the UL corner:
Wait...
Done
UDC Start
And then a standing Andy with a little speech balloon and then "POWER RESET or UNKNOWN UPLOAD MODE" as before. IIRC there may have been an error code in the UL but that's not there. Maybe the battery pull changed that, maybe not. Meanwhile, I'm going to try some other button "gestures" to see if the produce something else. Probably not... "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." - - ≠ Einstein
The situation is definitely abnormal. This shouldn't happen.
A USB jig can help to get to Odin mode but I don't think you have one.
I'd try these variants:
1. Boot the phone into this abnormal boot mode, run Odin and connect the phone to the PC. Then press and hold Power, Vol- and Home till the phone reboots (more than 10 sec) and see if it reboots to Odin mode.
The second variant will be later.
No change. BTW, there's some text in the UL corner:

UDC Start

"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." - - ≠ Einstein
And this is about the only result:
Vol Up + Pwr
Ok, here's the second variant:
- Boot to system.
- Press "Andy" with black dialpad and dial *#9900#
- You should see a menu. Press "Debub Level ..." button and select High.
- Power off the phone and try to boot to Odin mode.
