[Q] Flash firmware/modem using Odin Mobile? - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone!
My favorite custom rom has been updated and the guy who created it also posted the updated firmware/modem, G900FDXU1ANG1. I tried to flash it using Odin Mobile but it didn't worked, baseband version is not changed. His tutorial says to flash it using Odin PC but I don't have a PC here, so I'm asking if I can flash the firmware/modem using Odin Mobile. Thank you.

[Q]Cant change baseband on ROM based on XXUBMGA

Im having the following issue and was wondering if anyone can help
I have been using MVLUAMG1 for a while now as my baseband which is the latest Rogers/Fido modem/baseband and upgraded to foxhound 1.4 and then 1.5 from older foxhound versions
After installing the rom im trying to update the modem from MVLUAMDJ to MVLUAMG1. I tried it via mobile Odin which was neevr an issue before and everything seemed to go ok but baseband still shows MVLUAMDJ in settings
I tried via odin on my computer and get auth fail at the last part (writing)
Issue started with Foxhound 1.4 which is based on XXUBMGA firmware. Tested ROMS that are not XXUBMGA based and seems to work ok
Also unfortunately this modem is not flashable via recovery for some reason. Only ways to flash is is mobile odin or regular odin.
Trust me I would like nothing more then a flashable zip that works of this modem
any ideas or alternatives?

Installing KitKat with mobile odin

Hello! I need some help
My device is SM-N9005(hlte)N9005XXUGBOJ1. It is rooted,it has a custom recovery (TWRP) and a custom ROM flashed (resurrection remix). I have mobile Odin pro and here comes the Question..
I want to install kit kat on it and I did some research and it seems that I can't find the firmware on google. All I see is freaking Lolipop. Does anyone know where could I download the firmware? Also,as I earlier said,I have MobileOdinPro. I want to install KitKat with it. I flashed before stuff but using the PC. Now I have no PC and I really wouldn't like a soft brick so are there any steps that I have to make before flashing? Like downgrading the bootloader(if possible)?

Can I Install Stock Firmware on my SMG530H Using TWRP Recovery?

I'm running RR CM13 now, every custom rom i installed can't solve rear camera problem.
Anyone please help me, can i install stock firmware using TWRP??
Installing a stock firmware through twrp is a tedious process...it gives u a headache.. The better way is to do it via computer through Odin.. U can download the stock firmware from site called Sam mobile..

Installing Stock Rom

I got a used GT-935T phone very recently in India, which was still running android 6.0. On browsing these forums, I found out that we could flash stock rom on it without rooting, so I did so using Odin. I flashed the stock rom of Android 7.0 for t-mobile 935T, which was what my phone was supposed to be.
On further browsing, I also discovered, that we could flash any stock rom on the phone, irrespective of the region. So I decided to download the latest stock rom for India 935fd. I did so, but whenever I'm trying to flash it using Odin, I'm getting an error - repartition failed.
I've not checkd the repartition option.
can someone help me?

[Hard Problem] Unable to boot up after flashing

Hey guys, I got an Samsung Galaxy Note3 That really stuck on logo before flashing the device. The model number is SM-N9005. I tried to flash the device with the never version of Android and it doesn't work. I tried to flash with the older version and custom rom but it still did the same. I can't figure it out what's the problem. I hope you guys help me out with this issues. I use odin v3.0.7 and if you guys had any suggestion using the other device please let me know about it. Thanks
Just download the stock firmware for your device
Just download the stock firmware for your device from sammobile.com it's free and flash it with Odin
This will put you on 5.0 lollipop but then you can just flash twrp and install any other custom ROM and btw I think that the problem you are facing is because you didn't flash the new bootloader and modem for the ROM you tried installing.
