Is there any way to enable smart scroll function in the Verizon S5?
I read that it is disabled/not available in the verizon version, but is there some way to enable?
I am new to androids and mods/roms, but is there some hack or even an app out there to enable this?
Also, is there a way to enable the smart gesture features, like air browse in other apps, like chrome?
heres some features that should be on your s5 already. smart scroll was rediculously bad

Google I/O tab ?
if not check here
Unless there's some hidden features that I don't know about, I would say the Samsung App" app is pretty useless. It shows some pretty lame looking apps that you can easily find on Android market. Don't worry, you're not missing anything.
Agreed Samsung apps is terrible

Siri Proxy allows you to control additional devices with a Siri device. So I thought there must be something similar available for Android.:fingers-crossed:So we can also control our garages with Android devices

Can't this be done with Google Now? Seems like it would be a feature.

I have been wanting something like this as well.
To have an application to do this though, you would have to have two parts two it.
First part would be an app on your Android device, and the other part would be something that runs on a computer @ the house.
Reason for this is because you would want a secure connection between your phone and the app. Otherwise, anyone/everyone would be able to access your home automation system.
If there is anything like this, that would be awesome, but I don't think there is
The closest thing you can get to it is HomeSeer, but it isn't voice activated. It's only buttons.
If anyone knows of a program that would do voice activation home automation, please let me know!
Hi, anyone know if it's possible to incorporate the smart features to a browser other than Samsung browser? I really want to use them on chrome since that's what I use

As far as I can see, there really isn't any way. I also use chrome and would like to use smart scroll.
If I had to guess, Samsung baked the features into the browser. It doesn't seem to be universal at all.

Anyone tried the pop up browser from another Samsung device?
Yes. Tried it on multiple devices with no luck. Force closes. However, my disappointment led me to find "COBRA", it's a popup browser just like the Galaxy's but loaded with features including resizing, tabs, etc. Download from the Play Store (free). Actually I prefer this over Popup Browser. Do go through the settings and set everything to your liking.
<<< Please say thanks if I was of help!

Found it floating browser cobra.
Thank you
What is the actual name in the market. Cobra comes up with a lot of apps. Thanks for the suggestion.

Sorry it was "Floating Browser COBRA". Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.watea.apps.cobra
I tried all the other floating/popup apps before this one and they seem to be junk: filled with ads, etc.
Hope this helps

Do a search for "apk" and the name of the item you're looking for. I've seen both.
I have but neither one will open?
