MIUI has released locker application for any ROM only >2.3 android. It works on SGS2 as well without MIUI rom. The application can be downloaded from here

You can download many lockscreens with english from the MIUI forums. Anyways the app is in english only!

Thanks but the colors v3 does not work. It just show the lockscreen with nothing(no button) but my home wallpaper. all others download from the apps working but not that. and i want that only lol . anyone get it working?

Not only colors v3 but many of them don't work when you download and put it in the folder. They work when you download them online within the app. Don't know why!!

Just nandroid back to samsung rom and the things I missed was the lockscreen. And lo and behold..
I can confirm that any mtz files in sdcard/MIUI/theme can be used as lockscreen.

How is the battery life with this?
does it go into deepsleep?
and is the wake lag there?

Built in themes work great, but when I tried installing an ICS theme from the forums all I get is the wallpaper.

I installed one from the Online Section, ICS4 is the name i believe!
Working ok and with no lag, but the Date has some japanese caracters written ...

tested and working without the homebutton bug! thx mate!

Pulling a theme out of a ROM ?

Is it possible to pull a theme out of a ROM ? this ROM looks so good , but I dont like its speed : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2282015

Yes.
Get the ROM, find for framework-res.apk, decompile it, grab the navbar pngs, transfer it to your phone, get an app called softkeyz from the themes and app section and apply it.
Wallpaper should be in framework-res too.

What will happen if I will replace the entire framework-res.apk ?

It will likely boot loop as many of the dependencies from the paranoid framework won't be in the other one

I've a problem with alarms:
The dark rectangle is too long.

Using this configuration
Xperia Launcher- BlackhawkOC- Xperia Lock, although the work is very good but some pngs regarding Call Answere screens seemed a bit out of place...
And, the Time, Date and Settings shown on Notification panels would look better if they were above the toggles.
Finally am not able to change the Time settings to 24hr format...
Maybe you could look into them for next update... Thanx for the Rom.

For all who interested in using the ROM please do not use PurePerformance X script with Fire Kernel on this ROM or the phone might misbehave and you might face wifi and bluetooth issues...

Give proper credits to the following ppl:
Brooklyn for the base, ketut_kumujaya for the cm blackhawk kernel, dragonn for the fire kernel, etc., also others for the 30 step volume mod, viper4fx & so on.

I've installed this rom and it works amazing. The only thing i'm missing for now is Google Apps. Can't seem to get it installed.
Tried it with Mount Data\Mount System but nothing worked. Any suggestions?

Excuse me but as far as Play Store and related stuff is concerned thie ROM already has it. You talking about other gapps (like talk, gmail, etc.) I presume!!!

I've tried the signed package from 'http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip'.
But the installer CWM won't install, invalid pacakge. But i've installed Google Maps from the play store and this worked, including navigation.

Download the ones from the thread of cm7.2 ROM by thilibaultblizz.

I did download the zip file from first post. Extracted SecSettings.apk and Keyguard.apk from the zip. Replaced it with the original ones in /system/priv-app and set permissions to rw-r-r. Did a reboot and choose the particle unlock-effect in settings.

Ok it did work, but I lost the S5 style Setting menu I was using other mod to have that. Is there anyway to have S5 style flat icon grid and list view option with this effect add on ? And no sound associated to this unlock effect ?
Also is it normal that after unlocking for a second it show my my Homescreen empty wallpaper ?

Right, but I need the correct files to be authentic. The loop file will just display the color burst over and over and the shutdown qmg will be the boot but in reverse.

What do you mean? The boot animation does not need the launcher. The launcher is completely separate.

Wow of coarse I know that I said the launcher is not gonna work because it needs touchwiz 4.4.2 it is incompatible with 4.2.2

i tried the shut down boot it works fine but in boot animations after smasung logo there is yellow screen and two samsung logos (tab 3 10.1)
can you help me ?

you have to use a little deductive reasoning here and in the future.
meant in the best way.
okay, so you boot animation is either incorrectly sized for you screen
or it was put together incorrectly. all you can do is choose a different image.
however if shutdown animation displays correctly maybe you could
duplicate it and rename copy to replace boot animation.

I used the S5 boot animation until the Tab 4 boot animation was posted here. The S5 launcher has to be ported and will only work on Android 4.4. The S5 launcher should be the same as the Tab4 launcher. So if you are lucky to have android 4.4 then you can use the launcher posted here, as one has not been ported yet ( as far as I know)
