Aosp kernel that supports fast charge? - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

As the title states I'm looking for a kernel that does this. I've searched these threads for quite some time but haven't found a single one that does this. Could someone here point me in the right direction.

You sure you searched the threads correctly? It took me 0.5 seconds to find what you want...
As FastCharge is a Yank feature - you should have based your search queries around that.

Why so smug?
I'm searching xda for an xda kernel. I don't go outside xda much for obvious reasons. So why should I base my search outside xda? Your link did give me what I needed. But that required a different website all together.
A simple answer from you could of sufficed. No need for the attitude.

Sorry, it's not a smug attitude more of a "surviving in XDA" attitude.
That kernel is based on a very popular kernel by yank from xda, however he doesn't support mirrored links.
The kernel has been referenced a lot on XDA but he hasn't started his own thread mainly to get people to go to his forum.

There we go. Forgive me for not being here on xda long enough to realize who he is.
You don't search xda = chastised for not searching
You search xda with no results = learn to survive.
Wtf man. All I did was as a question in the general forum. Not in development or anything.

I've gotten used to it. It is a public forum after all.
This is why I resort to asking my friends first rather than asking the forums if any issues or questions arise.
Apologies for being the prick in this situation - haha.

Q & A??????

This is completely irrelevant to everything but why are we one of the only forums that doesn't have a Q & A sub-forum?
I think that falls under general.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA Premium App
There are specific requirements for a Q & A subforum, I'll look them up.
But, philosophically, I've never seen the point: if users don't search in general, why would they search in Q & A?

Agreed, its pretty ridiculous when people post a question that has been answered in posts even on the same page they posted on. Users need to do little more research before they jump in blind and just ask for help. We may be a forum to help others, but come on, if u can't take the time to read and learn u shouldn't be screwing around with a six hundred dollar phone....

Having been here a long time I completely agree with you guys about people searching. I just found it odd that there were certain devices with Q&A but we didn't have one
I have found a generic Google search to be far more effective than the XDA app search.

I agree. Google will bring up all the forum posts. I spend most of my time on dxf and I find the search functions to be unuseful unless you have an exact phrase match.

To the moderators

Hi,
I just want to say that when anyone tries to search any topic by proper as searching terms with long enough words, on an app like tapatalk or xda,
It shows more than hundreds of results...
Than how it's possible to find proper thread or post?
Moderators should consider this problems before closing the threads...
It's not possible to check over 900 posts and same range of threads after using proper and long searchung terms...
Thanks...
And sorry for this post...

Try different search terms or condense the post. Or try searching in specific threads.

Yes. Don't use the app search. It searches the whole xda.

There will be a justifiable reason. Besides its in the rules to search before hand. Use the website to search, not the app

The search function is not functioning properly. So? That's only one bug. Is it that hard to use the website to search? You can even search on your mobile phone. Let me teach you. Your chosen browser>xda website>go to desired forum>login>search this forum>key in desired search terms

ofcourse, you type in one word and it will show you 900 answers, you need to learn how to use search then.. and for that.. you need to read as well!!
Dont push it!!!!

Order vs. Chaos

I do not know if I missed something essential but I really would appreciate if the admins of S3 I9300 would split the developer thread into two threads. One which hold all the ROMS and another that hold all the MODS, KERNEL, ETC.
As the thread grows its getting more and more cluttered. Sometimes I just like to brows through the ROMS and try some of them out and sometimes when I am satisfied with the current ROM I would like to gather some random mods.
A question: Does anyone know how to mod the CM10.1 so that I get more reboot options and more importantly the option to shut down apps by holding the back button?
Jolly Jolly
A chaotic post...
All forums on XDA are similarly ordered, to not be chaotic. Just read the description of each subgroup, to find what is where. It's pretty self explanatory really. Also read the stickies that lists and links to popular ROM, kernels, themes etc.
Best asking in a CM thread, for CM related questions.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Vote chaos......but then I would... I'm an anarchist!
Why not just search threads for [ROM] or [MOD]???
CM has hidden the reboot options toggle in the dev settings. Higher security and all that.

Chaos vs Order
@OP:
I think that mods of XDA could have time for such request, if users would not create mess elsewhere, for example, by asking questions in General section.

Wow. £2 is nothing for such a quality app as Tapatalk. Really, a bottle of Coke costs more.
And unlike a bottle of Coke, Tapatalk lasts a lifetime..
I'm not sure political debates are allowed on XDA

The only forum that is on tapatalk I use right now is XDA, the XDA app is based on Tapatalk anyway so it's technically just as good, the only reason Tapatalk will be better is because it supports more forums.

@TheAxman is right. When there is threads on page 1 about exactly what you are asking there is no reason to start a new thread. It has always happened and will always happen though. By calling out people you teach them. If everyone holds newbs hands they never care to learn and will continue bad behavior.
The following was my opinion. I am solely responsible for it.

Why not ask in that specific thread?
Because it's more likely to get a wider audience as a new thread, if you have no input, why comment?

Let me rephrase that - since I have no idea about your specific ROM I can not say if it is a problem very specific to that or if you are another clueless guy who did not care to read the rules of this forum starting with the first one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/announcement.php?f=2494
Maybe I am clueless, maybe I don't spend enough time trolling other peoples posts? If you've nothing constructive to offer then why bother? Asking why I've asked the question is totally irrelevant if I've already asked it! Don't you have some star trek annuals to alphabetise or something?
And yes I did read the rules, but like most people on here I'm not infallible, is forgetting a simple rule a hanging offence? The problem here is someone with nothing better to do than pick up on others mistakes! A petty one at that.. If I wanted trolling I'd of asked on twitter, seems I made the mistake of thinking most people on here were helpful rather than critical..
Use uTorrent, I see you are using the Vuze client which causes issues with some models.
aTorrent is the best client by far!
