[Q] Flashing T-mobile official CSC into N9005? - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I have asked this previously but never got a straight answer. I'm trying to get 4G on my N9005 as I'm currently residing in NY. The 4G is on and everything but I did some research and found out that I can't get true 4G with my N9005 just like that. I'm currently using T-mobile, Can I just flash the CSC from the latest firmware for 900T and replace it with the n9005 firmware csc? will that be all that I need to do to enable the 4G?
Thank you, Any help appreciated! :fingers-crossed:

I'm on the same network in the UK, and although rooted find that Xposed + Wanam Xposed + App Settings allows me to pretty much set up the phone the way I want it, without really needing to jump to a custom rom.
If you're wanting to try a rom, make sure it's for the N9005 and maybe has BTU selection as part of the installation. I was considering X-Note, CivZ, Assassin - there are loads to go at.
:good:
Hay, struggling with the same issue, was there ever a resolution to this?
You can use any ROM that ends with hlte because your phone is international phone at the moment I'm using resurrection remix ROM. I live in UK and I have EE as well with a note 3 thanks
Its the modem and CSC that counts .

[Q] GN3 carrier-specific variants

I recently bought a refurbished GN3 in the UK. It was marketed as an N9005 but it turned out to actually be an N900A - the AT&T variant. Obviously all the AT&T guff is not much use to me, and I'm having difficulty making it install the 4.4.2 update from the UK.
Does anyone know if it's possible to install the generic N9005 ROM on this phone? Any pointers to how to do it?
Cheers,
Tom

How to flash stock EE ROM on my Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900F?

Hi all,
I currently own a sim free Samsung galaxy S5 Device model: SM-G900F. I'm on contract with EE in the UK and they're currently offering WIFI calling, but only on their EE devices. Does anyone know if I can flash the stock EE ROM on my S5 SM-G900F? and if so how I'd go about finding it?
Thank's in advance.
So I basically need to convert my SM-G900F into an SM-G900T. Is this possible?
I found this EE firmware. Should I be pretty safe flashing it? It has the same model number as mine but it's an EE firmware so I'll be able to get my WIFI calling. http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda/Galaxy+S5/United+Kingdom/
Yes, it's safe flashing it with that firmware.
Thank you.
The rom your link goes to is a 4.4.2 2014 rom go to sammobile.com and search for the latest EE rom for the G900F you can't convert an F to a T version either latest EE rom should be PDA G900FXXU1POD1 CSC G900FEVR1POD1 after flashing the rom you will need to do a factory reset on the phone

ok, you should be able to flash any G900F tar.md5 file from any country on it. You have the international verison of that phone and it has TONS of tar.md5's for it that will all work just fine. only signal difference you will notice is in the different radios that are in the different tarballs, other than that, they should all work the same
