Hi friends,
I´m thinking of buying a Touch HD, however I was disappointed by it´s video recording format: CIF. I was expecting something like [email protected]
It would be veeery nice if someone who already have this gadget could record a sample video using the device´s camera and attach here (no youtube, in order to avoid compression).
All the potencial buyers of Touch HD would love it!
Thanks.

kdomo, thank you very much! Very kind of your part sharing this video with us.
It´s not the best quality I´ve ever seen, although it´s not the worst. HTC could´ve made a better job on video specs (AVI, [email protected]), do you agree with me?
I´m sure a lot of people are thankful for the video. Have a great sunday!
I always thought that there are mostly a lot of crap videos on youtube for me to learn more about the HD.
Here is a thread that will highlight the most informative. Will update as I come across them and please share your fav videos that you found useful.

nice idea!
As subject says.
Im trying YouTube but getting mixed results as many of the HQ videos are also super letter boxed((large black stripe top and bottom..ex linkin park new divide video)).
Are there any good videos on the web that are 800x480 or 720x480 that play well on the N1 ?
Not on my home comp so cant convert something. My buddys coming over tommrw wants to see Vids on the N1. Looking for something good to download.
you have pm
wow thats a beautiful clip.
I was hoping for a 'fullscreen' but thats fantastic clip. Thnx.
Hello world!.
Try this. Visit this url: twit.tv/twit
and download either Low or High video resolution link.
BTW, TWIT is my favorite pod/videocast which I am enjoying every week.
I am also using ffmpeg (svn, GNU/Linux version) to convert any movie/video files into N1's playable MP4 format. Very nice quality.
TQ
//This is my first post, after a month lurking in this forum . Eventhough my N1 still locked/unrooted yet, but, I felt happy knowing the potential of N1 + Android.

How great would this be if we could get it on our phones!
Wouldn't look kinda grainy with a composite out?
Still pretty cool though, would be great for sharing pictures and videos.
so i just got the chrome z5p from clove and i am definitely loving this beast! however, i just wanted to ask you guys if you find any difference in the video upscaling improvement for 720p and 1080p content in (a) sony video app, (b) youtube, and (c) netflix. thanks!
a) Yes, please refer to http://www.xperiablog.net/2015/11/1...heck-out-a-comparison-against-iphone-6s-plus/
b & c, have not greatly noticed. The screen quality itself is high so everything looks v nice

Click to collapse
so does that mean videos in youtube and netflix are not upscaled?
Everything is upscaled because the screen has 3840x2160 pixel. In the picture and video gallery instead things are displayed in 4K directly.
Netflix looks great, as does YouTube. I can say 100% a 1080p YouTube video on z5p looks same/better quality than 1440p on galaxy S6 using same video to compare.
