I rooted my phone and installed Font Installer from the Google Play Store but after I install a font and reboot my phone, nothing's changed. I'm running on stock ROM, LG Optimus L7 V20D.

Hello guys I am pretty new and I have a question. I just rooted my LG g2 D801 model that is running lollipop 5.0.2 and I am wanting to install xposed installer so I can customize my device. I looked it up on Google and there was a whole guide on how to download it but it did not work for me. What I am asking is if anyone can provide me links and advice on how to do this being that I am new to this whole rooting thing. Also I am wondering what else is required to have that downloaded. I hear about custom recovery and all of these terms but I am not familiar with them All respondes are appreciated, thank you.

Yes on any rom. this is how it is.
for 5.02 use sdk21
for 5.1 use sdk22
for 6.0 use sdk 23
and our device use arm. so sdk21/22/23. arm depending on what version of android you are.
(but first) if you only rooted your phone then you need a custom recovery. you said you have 801 g2? then go to playstore and download autorec for lollipop for d801
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=b007.autorec801&hl=en
just download/ and run autorec. wait till it says its ready to flash. then on top youll see twrp just click on it and it shoud back up and install twrp recovery... i use link2sd to reboot into recovery or look for a advance reboot in playstore. that will take you to recovery screen. but once you have the twrp. use the one on my first post 2.8.7.3 to prevent heat damage to display. in twrp says install just click install, look for twrp 2873 file where it got downloaded and select it. and it ll install 2873 recovery. then you can do the same. click on install and look for the xposed file should be in your download folder. then youre done.. install the apk. and when you have a xposed module apk. example small navigation bar. you download apk. then install. and in the xposed installer, open it and go into modules. select module you downloaded and want to use. then reboot and it should be working.

Thank you sir it worked
I dont want to use an app on the play store to reboot to recovery. Is there a way I could add recovery to the reboot menu?
D800 LG Stock 5.0.2
You can if you root and install Xposed. There is a plugin/app it's called "G2 tweaksbox " that gives a bunch of functionality to the stock rom including reboot menu. Thread at: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2549923
I rooted my lg g2 at&t d800. And installed the Cyanogenmod 13. Then i tried to install the "gapps" (downloaded from opengapps.org) through Android System Recovery since the clockworkmod reovery wasnt opening up. How do i fix this? I tried installing the google apps seperatedly using apks. But it isnt working either. The "play services" i downloaded is crashing often. Playstore downloaded wasn't opening. No google apps is working. Please help me through this.

So as before, with my v20 ls997 I had posted about a camera app, the guy emailed me the apk for it but I don't have the email anymore, if someone has the original LG apk that can be installed directly that would be amazing!
I can't flash via custom recovery, when I installed a rooted Oreo rom it got rid of my recovery and wipes when I enter it, so preferably the apk only.. Thanks! :fingers-crossed:
Here is the stock camera APK from my US996 on Oreo:

And be careful if you choose to keep going without having TWRP installed. If anything goes wrong, you'll likely have to start from scratch again.
