I Have note 3 n900 with official 4.4.2 ... I flashed Super SU 2.01 From the CWM recovery but now i faced this ERROR!

You need a custom kernel too. Flash CF Root THEN flash Supersu.zip

did you intend to root your device ?
if so, you can't just flash supersu app. It is not as simple as that. Go to CF-Autoroot thread and download for your device/firmware.

CF-Autoroot never change kernel / recovery. It will still be stock recovery with stock kernel after you flash it
And you don't need custom kernel just to root by CF-Autoroot.

Nope, flash a custom recovery with Odin and than flash this zip http://download.chainfire.eu/343/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.45.zip in recovery and you`re rooted. You need Odin to flash a recovery or CF-Auto Root bro.
Won't flashing Adam's Kernel only, give you root and maintain your stock ROM?

[Q] Safestrap compatible roms with NC4?

Is anyone aware of safestrap roms that work with NC4? I'm having trouble finding a list or anything...

It seems like BajaROM doesn't work (failed for me and apparently others). Was planning on trying JasmineROM next.
None of the current roms worked for me. (Stock TW KK 4.4.2 NC4 OTA) Rooted /w busybox, safestrap, and super su binary installed.

Jasmine rom works great. No problems here.

Hope it helps
No I was on NC 2. Downloaded and flashed jasmin rom and rebooted into Odin (download mode) and loaded nc4 firmware thru Odin 3.09
I was on NC4, no luck finding anything that is working (including Jasmine). Install seems to go OK, but when I reboot the screen stays off.

You can download & install SuperSU from playstore...
Open SuperSU it will prompt you that the binary needs to be installed, click ok! It will then say failed and give the option to install it via cmw or twrp click ok! The system will now reboot to the stock recovery, exit out and reboot to safestrap. Once in safestrap choose install and go to "/cache/recovery" and select "update.zip" swipe to flash then reboot to system. Open SuperSU and now it should be working.
Lmk if this works for you...

ALL, Please DON NOT try and flash any ROM if you are coming from the Verizon OTA NC4 4.4.2 build (rooted via Towelroot)...until the ROM Developer states in the OP that it is okay to do so.
EDIT: Please refer to this thread if you are on the VZW OTA 4.4.2 or NC4 kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2787627

That fixed it, thanks
@JBHawaii will that method work for stock build NC4? Currently SafeStrap isn't letting NC4 flash ROM at the moment.

Yes, it will work for stock NC4. However, chainfire just released an update for Super SU via the playstore... try that first! If the binary still fails to install then try my method.

Has any one ran safestrap and check the size of the rom slot? When I do it says 0 mb available. If I am not wrong which I could be that means there is zero space to flash the rom to.

Right now SafeStrap won't let us use slot for ROM, so we can't flash anything to it

Flash NC2 Kernel in Odin
Just flash the NC2 kernel in Odin and install a rom. Just tried it out and it works!

I've decided to unroot, do i have to do that fix before i install a recovery (Cwm or Twrp)?
From my understanding you have to be rooted to place a recovery on your device (Cwm or Twrp)...

you unroot by flashing the stock Odin file, or using your root method to unroot.
there is no recovery available. safestrap is our wonderfully built recovery alternative due to a locked bootloader on the 900v. do not try and flash cwm or twrp.

[Q] Flashify to flash recovery

Hello Everyone just want to ask before I go to root and install recovery Im still stock and not rooted so heres my idea to root and install custom recovery
1. Root using towelroot
2. Install recovery using Flashify
3. Install custom rom
can this method work? anyone have tried this? since I dont want to use odin because Im still noob
TIA
Towel root may not work, you may have to use Odin because Samsung patched their kernels.

It's personal preference, but I personally like to use TWRP.

Soft-Brick after flashing recovery

I have 4.4.2 stock firmware with root.
I flash TWRP and after the flashing have soft brick... and I try CWM and philz anymore...
I download the ATT recovery version for my SGH-I337..
why bricked?

The only custom recovery you can have on 4.4.2 is safestrap. You can't have twrp or cwm.
