So, i tried to get this work during sunday and monday with no succes.
I have ripped some of my own games (Tombi 2 and crash bandicoot 3 PAL releases) via program Imgburn which i found from neoseeker forums after some googling.
I couldnt do ISO files so Imgburn did BIN files for me, i read that BIN files should work with PSXperiA, yesterday the author of the tutorial video, and possibly a member of XDA, confirmed that BINs should work by replying my utube comment. After this i updated my play to 2.3.4 and PSXperia to beta 2
I retrieved proper files (com.playsration something from phone memory and ZPAK from the memorycard i had crash 1)
After this i copy both files into "important 1" and "important 2" folders under (harddrive 2)/D:/PSX/
Extract folders is being created in same folder named as "data" after this i go to convert and fill the fields, mark the "analog box" and set paths (extracted content, game BIN and output)
When PSXperia is ready i take the game file and put it into my phone SD card to right directory (i dont excatly remember the path, its either way same path as described in the tutorial video i watched)
I unplug my play and check all the menus and places only to discover that games arent showing up anywhere
I think the problem could be either A ) minor detail i didnt notice or B ) something went wrong while ripping the game.
I believe both have some share in my problem, i tried original BIN files on PSX4droid (i had SPC10001 or something ~~ bios) but with all sort of tricking i didnt get any reaction (tried crash 3)
Soooo, what went wrong ? Can you help me ?
I did everything in that specific order so if something is missing, please do tell me
PS: i didnt mark box "yes this is a question" on these forums since this is call for help and not one question, i think i shouldng mark it ?
You should have watched all of the tutorial, You missed the part where you actually install the game. Watch my video again and see the part where I use a file manager to install the apk.

Aaaahh holy.....
I did see that part but because i was watching the video with my play i couldnt see file names and i think i just didnt hear that part correctly.
Though my excuse for sucha noob mistake must be that my PC read APK file as "Gamespy Arcade Custom Service" so all i could think was "WTH does this file do here ?"
Well, now i have instaled "Tombi 2" but its shutting down by itself (black screen and extremely quiet sound "sssshhhhhhh" from the speakers which stops after screen goes away)
But i think this problem is more common and can be found from "PSXperia beta 2.0" thread so i think i take a look at it
I will bump this thread if i need more help.
BTW, i cant get even PSX4droid to work, black screen and freeze, there seems to,be no topics solving or even containing the problem in the interwebz (tried PAL BIOS too but without luck)
It seems emulation god's are not on my side today

The problem might be that im using EU APK and ZPAK of crash bandicoot with Tombi 2
(i checked from github compatibility list and there was no sing about PAL release working, only Usa)
Tombi 2 is EU/PAL release while you are using USA version with possibly USA APK and ZPAK.
I try USA release of Tomba 2 with my current APK and Zpak, i will report in shortly
EDIT: didnt work, same deal as with PAL, i think next step is to get Usa Crash bandicoot APK and ZPAK and try with those, i think APK was in that PSXperi thread somewhere.
Small update.
Tombi 2 PAL works perfectly with US apk and ZPAK, minor graphical glitches and bugs (some edges of models look blue and few chains in second world are "hot" while they shouldnt be, this doesnt alter gameplay though.)
I have shared thanks for you two
Tombi 2 is by far, my favourite PSX tittle with countless hours of gameplay, im looking foward in trying Tombi 1 that i never had a chance to play and to play extra missions that are being unlocked in Tomba 2.
I wanted to try Zero Divided 2 but i had an error while ripping, today i will proceed trying out Croc 2, Crash Bash... Infact, all of my PSX PAL tittles.
crash 3 didnt work, ill try US release.
One last question, could converted game and the APK for for other xperia 2011 range devices, Arc is PS certified so i dont see why not on it, but im more thinkig about NEO.
My sister would like to play some PS classics too and the only PSX4droid version i could get working, performed horribly.
I know its kinda illegal, spreading software that is not desinged for centrain phone on purpose that is.
Today my sister comes to me and asks me for help setting up custom ringtones on her iPhone with iOS6 and I figured, why not; it shouldn't be that hard to set it up on an iPhone after all they say Mac's are easy to use... blah blah blah. So I down load stupid iTunes and her register her account and all this other BS and then finally the POS syncs her music so then I'm like WTF? Where are the ringtones?
So I go online to some crappy Apple blog and they explain how to add custom ringtones to the phone.... long story short I followed every last instruction to the T and the **** didn't work... after 2 hours I got the format and the length of the tone and all that stuff right to where it finally showed up in iTunes but when I went to sync the phone again the damn ringtones didn't show up.
So I hand her over the Phone and say that's it I quit... Jesus Christ!!! I'm so glad I have a Windows Phone.
That is funny, I have often wondered at work why everyone has the same ringtones etc, Now I know :good:
Well, that is if u r unfamiliar with the iOS... I was at the same situation some 4 yrs ago.
But since then, till several days ago I had iPhone3G and iPhone4, so let me make it simple. U go to zedge.net, make ur account, in phone u choose iPhone, and then u head over to the download section, select ringtones, and puff, several millions to download.
U download them, insert them to iTunes, sync ur iPhone and voila, that's it.
The second place to download rongtones is audiko.net and if ur iPhone is jailbroken, then u can download the Cydia app and download tones directly to ur phone.
Now there is another solution, if u want some specific part of some song u cannot find on the internet, download iRinger to the computer, select the song, select which part u want, click start, and it will make ur Ringtone. Then it is sync with the iTunes to insert it to the phone.
Stupid iphone. With ringdroid(which has been around since the G1 days) weve been taking our songs and making custom ringtones, notification tones, and alarm tones. I hate the iphone. So frickin extra to do sh*t thats simple.

I think not being able to add ringtones says something about you rather than iOS ....

LOL, so what does it say about me? I'll tell you what it says, nothing. Even with Zune it was still 100 times easier than on the iPhone. I don't know why Apple makes stuff so complicated. I take it your an iPhone fan? If so I'm sorry I offended you but no matter what Windows Phone is still better.

Cool, thanks or the info, I will try it. But in my case I created my own and converted them over to acc and then renamed the extension file to M4R like the instrucions online said. The ringtones show up in iTunes but never sync with the phone at all.
Only music syncs but no ringtones.:crying:
You could've just left them as mp3 and renamed the extension to .m4r
Drop them in the ringtone folder and done.

download iRinger, then it will make everything u need - u just have to select the part of the song u wish to use 4 the Ringtone. Then, when the ringtone is saved, u turn on iTunes, select the ringtone, and it has to appear in the ringtones section. When it does, u head to the iPhone, then go to Ringtones, and sync.
There is another possibly easier way. Download iTools. Connect the iPhone, go to Ringtones, select upload Ringtone, select the 1 u want to be in the phone, click upload, and thats it.
Since iTools, I almost never used iTunes, because as much as I really love Apple, and iPhone, and all the iDevices out there, I think iTunes is the most idiotic piece of software ever to be made. I simply do not know how retarded u have to be to make something like that. I was learning to use it some 3-4 weeks, 6 times deleted my whole phone accidentally... AAAAArrrghhhhhhh....

Thank miodrage, I felt the same way about having to use Zune for everything but now that I don't have to it's been a God send. Although the should have left it as a music player because Xbox music sucks.
I stopped using iTunes years ago. Pwntools is great, just drag and drop and done. No software needed.

So you judge an os by just this? Try it more and learn how to use the ecosystem and then in the end judge ... Btw I love wp8 interface , quickness , simpleness and his relative more openness but some how it felt to me incomplete.
Not trying to create some flame just saying that it is stupid to say that something sucks just by trying one thing.

I started on the wrong foot, but finally found that it likes Android 1.6 Apps!
- Angry Birds!!!!!! (with music and usable, albeit, it just takes a little time to Start just Once Initially, the everything is quite normalish after initial start..... But the initial Splash screen looks so cool on the smartwatch it is worth the wait).
- Dolphin Browser
- Opera Mini Browser
Hints:
- To download anything in Opera Mini, select the DCIM folder, it seems it does not like to download on initial root. Warning, it is not fast downloading.
- When typing remember that it is a good idea that when typing in the small keyboard, that if you are fast, and keep pressing a key and notice it was not the one you intended, before releasing the key, if you do it fast enough, you can move your finger towards the correct key before releasing your finger. This is much faster than having to delete a wrong entered letter. If you keep pressing and fail to move fast, it would suggest alternative based on the wrong letter and you can no longer move to next, but if you click elsewhere, it won't type the wrong letter.
- Dolphin Browser is great because you can define shortcuts for common menus (remember you don't have a menu key), with its gestures. I made a gesture for settings and other to go to downloads and for full screen!
More Apps come!!
Please Share your Apps!!!
More Apps!
- Aptoid works quite fine to install new apps.
- Backgammon Free
- Bazooka Rabbit works! (albeit, not all the screen appears, but it is playable).
- ES File Explorer
- .... more to try ...
Are you running the latest 2.1 os?
I'd be interested to see these apps in action on the watch. Anyone want to make a youtube video?

I just recently got my imwatch and I'm already using the amazing side loader machine to load random apps onto it. I'll try to get a video going of it if I can but otherwise not many apps seem to work on it. If you can give me some ideas and a link to the apk to make things easier I will have more examples to show.
Great little thread. Lets hope more people post the names of more suitable useful apps.

I'd be interested to see how some apps work compared to my Motoactv. So some examples would be emulators such as gbcoid, snesoid and n64oid. Maybe some android games such as Hill Climb, and Hardest Game Ever. Apps, I dunno, maybe root explorer (or just explorer), a browser (I use boat browser mini), and mxplayer playing a video would be cool to see. Everything but the emulators I just got off the Google Play store. If you can't access the store on the I'm Watch yet I remember being able to take apps off my phone. Just download the app on your phone, then use a file manager to browse to /data/app/, then send it to your computer (I use bluetooth). I can send you the emulator apk's, just PM me your e-mail.
Use bluestack make it easier to grab the apk and download multiple apps at the same time,
Games or apps compatible with android 1.6 will have a much better chance of working...
Good info
apps
Got some more apps that seem to work on the i'm watch after the 2.1.2 adb update
go jkeyboard works
mobicalc
advanced task killer
voice search kinda works, cant find netwrok connection. would like someone to get that working.
dropbox works
graffiti pro keyboard works
dolphin browser works
gesture search
but there arent many people who are rooting and or doing things for the watch,. So if you can give me any ideas as to what to do to it or how I'd appreciate it,. Such as unlocking the bootloader
What I'm finding is that anything where you can draw or speak is more useful for this watch.\
rooting with super on click was the best way of doing it honestly .
Ok so I found a useful group of apks that make customization something a greater thing.
email me @ [email protected]
for the link. (don't have enough posts for links)
Thanks!
There is a new ADB version out. The last was 2.1.2 but now there is a 2.2.0 which I am going to update to now and attempt to see if it changes much.
Heres hoping.
how do you install those apps on the watch , i just got me a i'm watch 2 weeks ago and this sounds interesting:good:

Well theres two ways to do it.
1. you can do the whole rooting process by getting the ADB software from imwatch and using super one click to root it then install it through a sideload manager.
2. you can download all the apks in there and go to the im market and get Sideload Manager app from there. Then you'd put the apks in the DCIM folder and go through the Sideload Manager and install it that way.
Note: You should disconnect from the pc when trying to install through sideload manager app for option two.
Hello, could anyone help me check "Endomondo" and/or "Runtastic" apps can work on the I'm Watch pls?
Very BIG thanks !

Hi all with this smartwatch. How is it with the last update? Better sound in conversation?

It's still pretty buggy. But from the things I've seen android phones have apps that are capable of handling and changing the volume and etc on there.
Don't quote me but its just what I've heard. I have an iPhone 5 so I can't really share from experience.

Hello everyone! Thanks for all your help over the years. I have a question about about my Samsung Galaxy S5 running rooted Lollipop (with Flashfire). Since the OS upgrade, I've been having issues with my background programs. I've noticed that they have to relaunch, instead of the phone keeping them running.
For example, I'll be on one program. I'll hit the recent programs button (or task manager button) to go to another program (maybe to check an alarm or maps or something). If I then go back to another program, it has to relaunch. This is especially annoying with, for example, if I'm using maps and then go to make a phone call. When I go back to maps, it has to figure out again my travel plan. Or (and this is just a game, so it's not a huge problem) but I'll be playing a game, I'll get a phone call or I'll check a website for something and when I go back, I have to restart and relaunch the game. Or if I'm listening to an audiobook while I drive, I go to check maps or get a phone call, and then I'll have to figure out where in an hour long music file where I just was when I go back.
I've heard that people have had issues with Lollipop since the upgrades. Is this common with everyone or is it just me? If it's common, is there a workaround or are they working for a solution? Thanks.

I wish I could shed some light but my apps and history is still there even after a restart.
Hey all, somebody please help me before I go totally nuts. Is it only me, or everybody is experiencing this problem and just getting over it? Anybody who has used android should be familiar with this... You tap an image file, android asks you to chose an app to open with, you chose an app, happily press always, and 2 minutes later the same process again! This seems to concern image, audio, video, txt, and whatever other file! 3 extra taps whatever file format you wanna open, googled it, people where asking about this as far back as 2011!! And still, no solution looms in the horizon! Can't beleive Google hasn't realized this for so long... This problem has existed on all my devices, Samsung S2, S3, Note 3,Tab S2... Plz don't start saying go to apps, and clear defaults, coz' that only works in theory but not in practice... Android versions involved were ICS, JELLYBEAN, KITKAT AND NOW LOLLIPOP... Tried with all 3rd party file managers on the play store... No success...
Any workaround?
Never had that problem since S1 and Froyo .
Just tested on Note 3 music file open with power amp ALWAYS reboot and it opens in power amp .
Likewise with a picture open with Always = same result .
Me too never had that problem.
After making defaults for apps, after some minutes go to defaults and check that is that app is selected as default? If it is there and still it says again ask to choose defaults then its firmware issue. And if its not there then you may have some cleaning app installed, which clear defaults after some time.
sorry for bad english.
I use greenify, but AFAIK that shouldn't cause a problem of this sort...
For example, why should an eBook reader constantly attemp to open an image file?!
Obviously, this does not occur when I freeze all but one factory or 3rd party app which do the same, but I can't uninstall an eBook reader because it attempts to open image files
