I am running the SOKP 4.4.2 ROM on my Nexus 4 and i tried to flash a custom kernel(Matr1x Kernel) on it. When i reboot after flashing the kernel, the colour scheme of the UI changes. The colours get mixed up(red in place of blue, blue in place of green etc) i tried the Franco kernel too but it had the same result. Whats the problem here? are these kernels unsupported my the SOKP rom? if so, does anyone know any kernels that r supported?? pls help!!!
here is a link to the SOKP ROM page on xda: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/development/nexus4-kk-4-4-2-t2720889 http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/development/nexus4-kk-4-4-2-t2720889

SOKP is based on CM11, so you'll need a CAF based kernel to get the right colours.
Try AK or hells-Core. Just remember to get the CM version.
Hi,
I'm new here, but understand flashing custom roms, making own roms etc.
I've got a problem when trying to use Creed 4 rom.
I get bootloop, because I was using a Cm7.2 kernel..
What kernel should I use with this rom to get it working.
Please help, thanks..
Marvin
You can use any kernel that is meant for stock based roms
Hi! Could I use Boeffla kernel with a stock Rom J.B. 4.3 I9300XXUGMK6? I would like to prove another kernel to improve this rom. I have tried custom roms but I don´t know why, my bluetooth didn´t work with them
Thanks in advance!

Kernels come with the roms. No need to flash another.
Modem only if there is a random call quality bug. you can ask this in the LS4.4 Q&A thread too.
Wee you can. But as my practice, i flash the rom, boot it up, then flash gapps.
