Follow the steps below. Hope it works:
- Install Shortcut Master app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.vndnguyen.shortcutmaster.lite
- Go to Search menu, enter 'bandmode' to search.
- Tap to open the popup menu and tap Launch.
See the screenshot.
Thank but i launch this app and i find Bandmode, But i cant change frequency ...
I'm not sure why but it may be due to Samsung policy (?)
I have 2 Samsung devices, Galaxy Mini and Note 3, and the Bandmode selection are different.
Hi, I've found this one. Hope this is what you are looking for?

Here is another suggestion:
- Open 'Shortcut Master' app, go to Search menu, enter 'radioinfo' to search.
- Tap on the search result to launch Radio Info.
- Scroll down to the 'Preferred network type', here you can select between WCDMA/CDMA/GSM/LTE... network types.
Please try and feedback.

I was wondering if anybody knows what registry to change so that on a hard reboot, the rom uses GSM by default instead of using 3G. Thanks
I know this is not fancy, but you can call rogers to turn off access for 3G...that's what i did
good luck
????
What about a some kind of tweak software??
wow, someone revived such an old thread. Actually, you only need to change a registry settings from Auto to GSM.
is there any way to edit the available options in Phone:Band stack?
my weird operator in Brazil (called Claro) uses 1800MHz for GSM and 850MHz for 3G and there is no way to select both of them in any ROM I have ever flashed in my Polaris. then, I am stuck in the old slow EDGE network, because I can't select the right frequencies.
please do not suggest me to select the "Auto" option, for it was obviously selected and it didn't work at all.
I have another phone, a Samsung Jet, which I bought with a rom from my weird operator, and it gives the option to select gsm and 3g bands separately, not in combos as the polaris does. I flashed it with some european rom and the options available were only those combos which my polaris also offers. so, I wonder if it would be possible to change those options while cooking a windows mobile rom to the polaris, just the way my weird operator's crew did with that freaking samsung proprietary OS.
hope you give me some positive feedback.
thank you, guys!
You know you can edit a post instead of creating new one?

So.. Did you set it to:
Qualcomm MSM72xx (CDMA)
or
Qualcomm MSM75xx (CDMA)
or
Samsun (GSM)
I'm talking about the setup part for WMLongLife (the application that you found)
You will need to set it up to make it work.
What settings did you use on your HD2 ? mine just keeps crashing after installation. And the whole device is slow now and battery runs out fast lol.. it should be one of the gsm ones..
It seems to work with the bottom samsung (gsm)
i use the samsung (gsm), i seem to be runnign it fine im not sure ive came across any issues yet, could it be another app messing with this one for the peopel with issues
Please can someone share all settings for this app. What check boxes did you check/uncheck etc.
For me it does not look like it's working the way it should.
I do get a popup asking if the application is allowed to access "internet", but after using the application it does not terminate the connection. (even when set to 15 sec.)
Also when I start "Band Switcher", and press the button "Disconnect data" it does not drop the data connection.
I've set the Radio Schip Model option to Samsung (GSM).
I know I read it here, but I have searched high and low. Could someone please poiint me to the registry hive that will allow for the ATT rom to display 3G+ like the rogers rom does?
Thanks in advance

Thanks for the response, although this isn't what I was after. I get this one through the Samsung Tools. What I am looking for is the key that allows the phone to show 3G+, instead of 3G all the time. There was a thread here that showed how you could even make it say 4G or H or whatever 3 characters you wanted.
For the life of me I can't find it.

Ignore the space in the key name (that's the forum protection)
Also, you need to ADD the registry key entry if it doesn't exist.

Thanks again, however we are talking about 2 different things.
I already have the 3G toggle settings.
The one I am looking for is only cosmetic in nature. When I had the Rogers ROM loaded, the display would show either 3G or 3G+ if I had a faster connection. For some reason AT&T has disabled the showing of the 3G+
There was a post a while ago that showed the registry key to enable this cosmetic fix. I just can't find it.
Once again though, I do appreciate your efforts.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Connectivity\CellularUx\DataConnectionIcon
1XHSDPA = "3G+"
You can basically change it into anything (3 chars max.). And I prefer "H", instead of "3G+".

Thanks for the responses. Message number 6 is the one I was looking for.
One question though, will this change it all the time or just when the actual network is in the H speed range.
With the rogers ROM, I would see 3G and 3G+

i do know there are quite a few variants of Note 3 ( carrier branded ,international unbranded etc.)
i would first check " specs" of your variant..note 3( to see if video call is listed in your variant of note 3 specs ?.. Google/ specs ? )
or check /phone your carrier/service provider ?
good luck .
Or a China Fake Note 3 SM-N9006 ? :-\
