How can I remove Youtube app from my note 3. I tried uninstalling it but can't do it.
regards
Maybe you can disable if not root. If root you can use app to remove system app

@srbutt as Safar stated, you cant completely remove system apps but can disable them from application settings but if your phone is rooted, download a good uninstaller from play store and uninstall Youtube App.

Without Root, you can only Disable it (And uninstall the updates). You can't uninstall the Youtube app without Root.

Howdi Folks,
My apps wont uninstall, (Bloatware)
I have root, Titanium backup and it wont remove them.
Busybox is installed aswell.
Any help?
Try getting an app called "Root App Delete" if you haven't already. Then just open it and select the apps you want to remove and remove them. The app should ask for SuperUser access, make sure you accept it and tick the rmember box, then you can uninstall any apps you want.
Just be careful not to touch or remove any important system apps.

Or just try to freece them. Even betten than deleting maybe the wrong apps...

have you just downloaded the leaked Jelly Bean 4.3 for the Note II and you rooted it but knox is blocking some of your operations that requires rooting?\
the solution is right here
1. Download "root app delete" from the play store
2. grant it root access
3. Go to system apps> choose safe mode
4. Search for the knox files in the list, you're going to find 4 of them
5. Disable each one
6. you are good to go
7. test the root by downloading quick boot and choosing reboot, if it reboots, you're good to go
Or just do it like this :

All I did was get root open su switch from ask to grant super user Permission ...Install romtbox open app explorer find Knox and freeze all for parts of app..Restart and since than no problems ... Simple easy and its still there if I would never want it back ....Since than the WiFi drop is not present...
The easiest..use titanium back up to freeze knox apps.

Click to collapse
Or..use the Disable Service app to disable all KNOX related services. No fuss.
One time action: move all Knox files to a Backup folder.
just deleted all the apps of knox including ELMAgent.apk with root explorer... nothing more...
Knox to freeze, although I want to restore a program from the program does not open with the data.
Is ELMAgent.apk related to KNOX? Most posts talk about search for KNOX keyword. TQ.

hey there,
I rooted my Nexus7 (2012) using WugFresh's Toolkit (it worked, I have root access).
Now I wanted to delete/deactivate some of the stuff I don't want/need like for example the hangouts app using the app "Root App Delete". I can choose to deactivate the app, but afterwards it still works/opens up.
So how do I actually deactivate this stuff?
thanks so much
brokaaa
I personally use Clean Master - Free Optimizer (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cleanmaster.mguard). It completely Uninstalls the system apps and not just deactivates them.
I use root uninstaller it will freeze, backup or uninstall apps. So you could backup hangouts (if you were ever going to want it again) and uninstall it or just freeze it to stop it working sometimes you have to uninstall it twice as the first uninstall only removes the updates

I recently used TB to install a backup of an app, when it installed it was as a system app (no other option to convert to normal app) though the system app won't update via play store, I uninstalled using a root system app remover though when I install the app normally from the play store it says unable to instal (something to do with signature).
Is there a work around to get the app installed either as a system app or other, and that will update?

TL;DR Google Play has only the Open option and no way to uninstall app
After updating my I337M from rooted NI2 Kit Kat to rooted OC4 Lollipop, I was unable to properly run Wakelock Detector. It was stock to stock so I didn't wipe factory settings.
Googled a suggestion to move the APK to /system/priv-app so I did that but still the same result.
Now when I want to try uninstall (so as to re-install) there is no option. Under Manage Apps the app isn't even listed. The APK is still under priv-app and I deleted it... still shows up in app drawer.
D'Oh! What else can I do to uninstall it properly?

i have the same problem
so ticked off. same here. even paid for the full version because sometimes that fixes issues like this. I can disable or freeze with titanium backup pro but can't uninstall. i think the problems happened after converting to system app. so now I have 2 frozen apps I want off my phone. On top of that the app stopped working after converting to system app. I get an error after the app loads. I emailed the developer and am waiting to hear back.
This days the application App2SD is able correct install Wakelock Detector as private , and it is able to uninstall it if it was installed as private .
