When I try to record 60FPS video, camera app stop working.
Same issue for CM11 camera app, original camera from 4.4.2 and motoX camera app.
I'm on cm-11-20140701-UNOFFICIAL-RAZR-HD_M-KITKAT.zip, but this issue is on every ROM from dhacker29
Has anyone same problem? How can I fix it?
Thanks a lot!
Try the Official CM11

With 7/05 nightly build I have same problem.
Thanks for response.
Do you have the M or HD? Although it probably doesn't matter. I have an M and my maximum FPS rate is 30 at 1080p

hi, yugoport. thanks for replying. i assume that 30 fps on camcorder in a phone is pretty damn good. is it still possible to get higher fps on the lgcamera app?
it works ok evo cam better
Hello, good morning everyone
I wonder if they really defy + will hold recording videos in HD, if you have the release set version with this possibility.
Ommm... I have no idea what you just siad. Could you rephrase that?
Yeah HD recording works

Is it possible for the note 10.1 to video in 1080p? Or 720p at 60 fps?

Yes
I know that the back 5MP camera shoots in 720p, but I don't know about the frame rate for either of the front or back cameras. Hope this helps you.
Not really

Not really, there aren't many developers here compared to the nexus s , hopefully
Y we get one soon.
720p @ 30fps.
Is it possible to change it to 1080p? Or is the camera-unit just not good enough.
Galaxy tab 2 10.1 can record 1080P videos with its old 3.2 mpix camera, i think samsung was too lazy to activate it on note

It cannot go above 720P, though if an experts sits on it he can port it to 1080p it was done for one device recently i cannot remember which. It is possible
So the video camera app is pretty useless due to the horrible auto focus on speed, so I need a new one - any recommendations that works well with the G2. Has to be able to record [email protected]

Try ProCapture. I've used it for a long time, it's even better on the G2 and does [email protected] Just tested it and focus seems to be fairly good.
I have the paid version, but they have a free one to try before you buy.

Install lgCamera from the Play Store. It's the best replacement I've found for the video issue. I've been using the free for a bit, seems to work so I'll likely shell out the dough to buy it outright.
I've tried several apps (Lenovo Super Camera, Focal, a few others whose names I forget) and none of them worked as well for me as the lgCamera did. Good luck.

Hi, I would appreciate if you share your experience here.

Unfortunately it cannot record 60fps.
Tap to focus
Does anybody know of a video camera app that has tap to focus rather than continuous autofocus?

Can you please share the video you used for testing? I tried with various 4K videos, some work while others don't. I think it depends on the different formats and codecs each video uses. I also got 4K to play on Xperia Z Ultra (MSM8974) and XiaoMI 3 (Tegra 4)

my galaxy s3 could play 4k video its not that big of a deal, now if it recoreded it that would be cool but the phone is incapable of doing so i believe this thread should be closed, but its good that a phone can play a 4k video and my friends computer cant even play a 4k video it glitches out
Of course it can play 4K videos, provided it's the H.264 standard and not Hi10P or HEVC.
m on air purity rom i checked by downloading a song of 4k video of 850 mb and it was in mp4 format
and the airpurity rom is from htc mania thread
I'll add a pointless comment to a pointless thread
