Hi forum, any solution to dump and reconstruct the HTC POLARIS rom?
is the same of the Kaiser?

yes there is the possibility of dumping the rom and reconstructing. the first rom i created was based on the rom we dumped from raskells device. cmonex would have to show u how its done and guide you through the process though. olipro could too so find one of them 2. i think though it would be easier to get the italian rom u have on device now in form of a ruu upgrade.

i contacted cmonex bc i can reconstruct and make a flashable OS only version but i am trying to see if i can get a full ruu for everyone with italian devices to flash.

Yes but I want in italian

i think the dumped roms should be converted to ruus this weekend. it was quite a job for cmonex. she had to add in bits into the nbh every few bites so it worked properly. this needed a tool. i will contact her to get the progress though.

what is the error or problem you are getting while flashing?
does the dEvice goes into bootloader mode during flashing?
first connect the device to computer and synchronised it, then use the ruu to flash the .nbh rom......

Do a hard reset as indresh said ... if its still not working then you must change your rom... to some other..
Offtopic: Hindi use mat karo, hindi me baat karni hai toh neeche offtopic likh ke kar sakte ho nahi toh eng translation version me likha karo. Warna pm me hindi use kiya karo.

[SOLVED] No landscape on Manila 2016

Gosh I've been making too many threads lately...
Does anyone have a solution for landscape on Manila 2016. google search and forum search has yielded no results, yet I see a million cooked ROM's with Manila 2016 and landscape support. Thanks!

Yes you did a lot ...anyway +1 for this one, im also interested...now we need only to wait a reply from Farmer Ted lol

As far as I know, because Sense 2016 is designed for the portrait only, keyboardless Oboe, I don't think we'll ever see an official landscape. Also keep in mind that we've only gotten test and debug roms for the Oboe so there's a small possibility that it will be fixed when we get a shipped rom.

I'm using Manila 2.5.20161332.0 and all i needed was this registry entry

Did this reg tweak work for you? Didn't work for me though. Don't know what I'm doing wrong.
All i did was add the reg in app.reg while cooking. Then tried rotating using rotate screen app. Start menu rotates, but cant see the HTC Sense.
Edit:
Its working. My bad. I added the reg in manila package. after cooking, the setting didnt take as it was changed back to "false". maybe i'll try it with provxml.
Conclusion: It works! Thanks.

Do you use Rotate Screen as app to rotate? That didn't work for me either. It rotates the wrong way. Try using this cab file which i used creating an EXT package for my kitchen

also, together with your tweak, by adding the code below in kitchen, we get auto rotation in sense. Is there any way to prevent rotation in music and Photos&Videos tab as it double rotates.

Volgens mij zit het niet in zijn geheel in de manila, maar ook een deel in de build nl. ik henb hem gebruikt in de 23 build waar ik de auto rotatie niet voor elkaar krijg daar tegen over daat het in de 21911 inderdaad als een trein.

cant install android

i've copied the map android to my sd card,
but when i trie to install it,
it keeps haning on loading kernel...
and after a few secs, it chaning to full black...
its version 2.2 from android,
does someone now what to do?

*None of the current releases will touch your internal flash. After restart you are back in the usual winmo.
*When Linux is booted, windoes mobile is shutdown abruptly. Although this is very rare it can cause some data loss. Please save your work and make frequent backups!
*You need at least a 2.08 radio rom version installed on your HD2. If yu have an older version you might not be able to boot Linux.

I had this problem too, was trying different builds, leading to all the same problems you had !!!
The solution for me was to flash a suitable radio, like 2.08.50.05, or in my case
2.11.50.20. After this every ANDRIOD build was starting very well !!!

before flash 3.14 rom,i flashed from sd the stock 1.66...and than 3.14 through pc..

radio 2.15 works better now compared whith same in 1.66 rom...at least the signal for now!!!

touch panel is MORE less sensible!!!!

very strange...i just downloaded it from htc.com/it....

internal storage is 120mb now,after delete music folder,album and default footprint's elements....in 1.66 was about 6/7 mb above!!

WOW...navigation with opera is really more fast now...will be for new radio that works better with new rom....and IS'NT a placebo effect!!!

According to your signature, you had artemis ROM, this means you have HSPL. HSPL do not allow, during flashing phase, the new ROM to replace it (unless you flash the new stock ROM from SD or you rollback to an SPL before flashing from PC).
Flashing the new ITA stock ROM with an SPL not "Hard" (i.e. HSPL) will replace it with new one.
