360 controller connects to nexus 7 but not tegra note - Nvidia Tegra Note 7

I have had this tegra note for a few days and cannot get my Xbox controller working.
It worked once for me while I was using ppsspp, once I closed the app it stopped working. I just tried the controller on my brothers nexus 7 2g and it connected fine showing player one. My tegra just showed all flashing lights
When I plug in the controller flashes for a second, then stops. I press the guide button and then it just flashes. Holding start the the gamepad mapper never starts.
I tested USB/BT joy center but it says no USB device found

[Q] How to get Power A USB Xbox360 Controller working with Nexus 7

OK I have a Power A Xbox360 controller that I purchased from walmart and I am trying to connect it to my nexus 7 (which is rooted and running 4.2.1 CM10) but I can't seem to get it to work. The middle button flashes green as if the controller is connect, yet it will not work for any game or allow me to map any buttons to get it working. I have searched Google and found as long as you are at least running 3.0 and above it should be just a matter of plug and play. Can any one help me and let me know is there is anything I am doing wrong or is it maybe my controller model is just not applicable for this task.
P.S Yes I am using a OTG cable and attached below is a picture of my controller if that helps.
Thanks

[Q] Issue with controllers - lag

I have tried 3 different controllers with my phone so far and nothing works very well.
I have an ATT version of the Note3 running Android 4.3 on Baseband N900AUCUBNB4 - rooted of course.
I tried the Sony Ps3 Dualshock 3 controller with the Sixaxis app, and found the analog sticks worked great and the d-pad worked well in the main android windows, but as soon as I launched a game there was extremely bad lag on all buttons except for the 2 analog sticks. I'm talking a full second and up of delay before the system responds. I tried bluetooth and connecting to USB and it's the same.
I tried the xbox 360 controller with USB connection and tried to use it natively, but it has the exact issue that the Dualshock 3 had.
Fine, I figure maybe It's not meant to be and decided to try the Moga Pro Power which is actually made for android. On this controller, the buttons work great in the A mode, but the analog sticks have a gigantic deadzone in the middle! Not only that but the buttons all feel really weird. Not impressed one bit with this controller. Then I tried the B mode to see if the analog deadzone would go away. It stayed the same, but then the button lag appeared as it had on the PS3 and 360 controllers.
I'm at a loss here. I'm not sure if it's an issue with the stock ROM or what. I'm going to try a new ROM in the meantime but I find it rather odd that I can't find a single person having this issue via google or this forum...
Thoughts?

a USB on the go cable
Well, after a few weeks of screwing around with the stock ROM and 3 controllers, I decided to try a new ROM. I flashed the firenote ROM and tried my xbox360 controller with the usb cable, and sure enough, it works fantasticly. Only one slight flaw- the green light that indicates which player the controller is pointing to just constantly flashes.
I would also like to say that I contacted Moga customer support a week ago and have not heard any response about the terrible analog sticks, so I returned that thing. A full week and not even a reply!
Update on this: it had nothing to do with the ROM. It's xposed additions module that screwed everything up.

PS3 Controller BT Now Working on TN7!!!

That's right, I currently have a PS3 controller working via internal BT on my rooted TN7 running 4.3 JB.
It all started with me looking for any new info on if/when we will get Lollipop and I found a Tegra Note Google+ page ( https://plus.google.com/communities/107930429626808861984 ) . Then I saw this post https://plus.google.com/+LeidivalSilvaSales/posts/TnDVpXqUCau and in the comments on this post a guy claiming that it was working on his TN7 https://plus.google.com/113859637427636372771/posts/22eAWCYqN1W
I hadn't tried to pair the controller in awhile and there were some updates to the Sixaxis app since then so I reinstalled installed Sixaxis Compatibility Checker. At first it didn't seem to work but here is the key, assuming the BT address in the controller had already been changed to match your device the controller has to be off or charging and you unplug it AFTER you hit the start button on the app. If the lights are blinking before you hit start it won't pair. After doing this the app paired the controller and registered all button/joystick inputs! I immediately bought the full Sixaxis app and with a little configuration was using the controller with ePSXe. Vibration doesn't seem to work but all the buttons/joysticks do. I haven't tried the tilt function yet. I'm so happy, I don't own a ps3 and bought the controller specifically to use with the TN7 and its been collecting dust for over 6 months because it didn't work.
If anybody doesn't believe me I can post a video.
I do not understand
I do not understand your tutorial, I am sorry.
What do I have to do?
I have
- rooted TN7
- installed Sixaxis Controller App
- DS3-Controller, with changed BT-Adress to fit my TN7
- USB-OTG-Cable
What is the exact order to make it work via bluetooth?
By connecting my DS3-Controller via USB-OTG all lights are blinking (there is no way to prevent this).
Thank you in advance!

Update1:
Oh, nevermind my post I found out myself..
1. Change the DS3-Controller Master-Adress to fit TN7 (by using MotionInJoyDriver and Configuration with BetterDS3_1.5.3)
2. Have the SixAxis-App running
3. Connect the DS3-Controller via USB-OTG to the TN7
4. Press Pair in the App, and set that checkmark to always set that adress for your usb-device
5. Press Start in the SixAxis-App (wait a few seconds, until everything is loaded)
5.1. Now the lights on the controller are blinking (or they were blinking before)
6. Press some buttons on your controller, by still having it connected via USB-OTG, to look, if it is working.
7. Hide SixAxis-App and bring it to front again
8. Hide SixAxis-App and unplug for Controller from that USB-OTG-Cable
9. Bring SixAxis-App to front and try to push some buttons on your controler (it is now working wireless).
Now you have successfully configured your DS3 with your TN7.
To make it always work via bluetooth finally do the following:
1. Make sure your gamepad is turned off
2. Open SixAxis-App and hit Start
2.1. Wait until everything (that driver stuff) is successfully loaded
3. Press Home on your DS3-Controller (now your Controller is connected to your TN7)
4. Celebrate that day and have fun playing games
Perhaps a few steps mentioned here are not necessary, but that is the way I made it work with my TN7.
It's also still working after a (soft) restart of my TN7.
Yayness!
I'm not exactly sure what the revelation here is... I've been using my PS3 controller with my TN7 for ages with the Sixaxis app. Glad it works for you too!

Xbox 360 Controller issues with local multiplayer through Gamestream/Moonlight

Hi everyone! This might be a long post, but I figured I'll give as much detail as I can in the first post. I recently got an Nvidia Shield TV over the holidays and I've been loving it, incredibly powerful device that's totally exceeded my expectations. However I've been having one nagging issue, and that is in the topic of getting 4 controllers to work through Gamestream/Moonlight.
To give a quick background on what I'm working with - I have a Shield Gamepad with an official Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless USB Receiver and 3 Xbox 360 Gamepads.
With Gamestream, multi controller support doesn't seem to work at all. When disabled, the Shield Gamepad works perfectly without a hitch in single player games. However, as soon as I turn it on through the menu, the controller instantly stops working. I can still navigate the menus of Gamestream, but the actual input of my controller is no longer being sent to my PC in the other room.
Now, Moonlight seems to solve this problem, but only partially. Installed with no customizations, Moonlight will support multiple controllers, but will stop at 3, meaning that I can have my Shield Gamepad and two Xbox 360 controllers functional, but the last controller's input will not go through, even though it is connected to the receiver and able to send inputs to the Shield itself.
I am able to get all 4 controllers working simultaneously with Dolphin, Mupen64Plus AE, ePSXe... You get the picture. It works GREAT with everything, but I have these weird issues whenever I try to get this to work with the official Gamestream app and Moonlight.
I've tried even hooking up a wired Xbox 360 controller to the Shield in an attempt to fix both issues, but the same thing happens. Weirdly enough, when I go to my PC and hook up a controller, then that controller can take over the 4th controller slot! But then you have 3 people gaming in one room with the last player in a completely separate room using the PC.
Thank you so much for reading!
TL;DR - Gamestream multi controller support doesn't function at all, no controller input will go through. Moonlight only supports 3 controllers, but for some reason not 4. Using Shield Gamepad + Xbox 360 Controllers.
Anybody know the solution? I'm still running into issues with this

when you start a stream, as soon as the game starts, hold the Play/Pause button. A new menu will pop up and on the right side is a 3-dot menu. Select "multi-controller" enabled. You have to do this with each stream.
I just bought a 2nd Shield controller a couple days ago, and through my adventures trying to get multiplayer in gamestream i stumbled on this menu. Don't know why nvidia "hid" it in a menu rather than having a giant button on the screen or something.

The weird thing is that whenever I try that, controller inputs on Gamestream stop working entirely.
I guess that's partially irrelevant now though. My Gamestream app has decided to stop working entirely (claims my PC is asleep when it's not). I now use moonlight for all my Gamstreaming purposes, but am still running into issues with the 3 controller cap.

Dualshock 4 Issues

So I'm currently trying to get my Dualshock 4 to play nice with my phone. I've followed multiple guides and YouTube videos in an attempt to get it working with games. Mainly been trying for Modern Combat 5 and GTA San Andreas. I have an OTG cable and it connects fine and works perfectly with PS4 remote play so I know the connection itself is working. The problem I am having is that the controller has seemingly random button mappings, for example if I click the touch pad I crouch or press triangle and I jump in San Andreas. I have Sixaxis Controller installed and from the menu it seems I have all the mappings correct after triple checking. I'm using one of the 20th anniversary Dualshock 4s if that matters at all.
Anyone have any luck with this problem? I can't seem to get it to do anything with Sixaxis Controller at this point so I'm pretty lost.
