Hi im looking to purchase an s5 on ebay uk. Its brand new and factory unlocked LTE model. The model is imported from the US and i wanted to know what the differences were in comparison to a uk model. I know about the cpu difference but are there any others?
Thanks
Yes, don't buy the US S5 if you want to be able to fully use the 4G/LTE bands. The US version doesn't support the 800 MHz band which you want!

Hi everyone,
I'm about to get a S4 on ebay that is this specific model: GT-I9505ZKABTU
Problem is I want to use it in Brazil which requires LTE band 2600MHz.
I could not find anywhere the specifications on LTE band for this model.
Could you please provide that info?
Thanks,
Z
9505 is sold in Brazil - should be no problem with that. But: I'd recommend to ask this question inthis thread - better chances for reply.
Which version will the UK get, the Exynos 8core or the snapdragon 800?
What atre the clock speeds of each and which is the more powerful of the two?
Any Other differences between the versions?
Will the UK variant (unlocked) be ready for all uk 4G basebands?
Samsung have stated that countries with LTE networks will get the LTE variant, and that means the Snapdragon 800. So that's what the UK will get.
There's loads of discussion of relative performance of the two models and other differences on this forum and on other sites, so I won't repeat that.
As far as I can tell there will be only one version officially sold in the UK, whether through a network or SIM-free. In theory that should mean that a SIM-free phone will work on any 4G network, but whether it really will is the key question! Personally I am going to let other people buy them first and try it out before I buy myself. It shouldn't take too long. Also, there may be teething troubles with the O2 and Vodafone 4G networks having only recently been switched on. There were reports of some S4 LTE models sold by O2 not working on the O2 4G network at first.

SM-P605 (EU)
SM-P605M (Brazil)
If anyone on AT&T gets a P-605M please post your results. I'd sell my P-601 and get a P-605M if it in fact supports AT&T's LTE bands. "700MHz" is a pretty broad swath as it's used by both VZW and AT&T. AT&T's specific 700MHz band is "17" while VZW's is "7." So 700MHz doesn't guarantee compatibility with AT&T. The difference in 700 MHz bands is why VZW and AT&T devices can't be used across their respective networks.
anyone out there who can help please do.
Hi all,
I am considering buying an OP5 from Dubai, but I live in Europe (Switzerland).
Does anybody know if the specs vary around regions? Or is it safe to assume that 4G/4G+ will work (including band 20 etc.)?
Thanks

Please search. I'm sure you can easily find what your carriers Lte bands are and then research what's op5 bands are supported
I know what the bands for my carrier are and I can find the specs for OP5 on the Oneplus website. It appears that there are no differences in the hardware across regions but I wanted to confirm that. I know other brands (like Xiaomi) differentiate the hardware depending on the region where the phone is sold.
OP5 now supports 32 bands, all on same worldwide phone.
