i bought a fake note 3 ,
which comes with a 512Ram and 1300GHZ Daul core ,
I rooted my device and installed ram expander ,
i used a 1.5GB ram from my SD card which is 4th class !!
my device still going with a low performance ,
i'm new on rooting and messing with android !
i have a two questions ,
1st , can install a slim bean ROM , ? if no which is the best rom i can install ,
2nd , my device boots with a Meditek logo how can i change it to the original ,samsung boot logo .

You can't install any custom ROM. They are built for a specific device. Since your device has different hardware, you can't use any Note 3 ROM.
You might have luck with using xposed and XBlastTools, if you want to change boot animation.
PS: How did you root? Towelroot?

Actually i rooted it using Kingo tool , i don't know if it rooted my device as a note 3 or no ,
But i think that it's rooted as note 3 , ! and it has a note 3 rom !
because moboginie and the kingo tool , recognized it as a note 3 !
and in the system information it shows that it is a note 3 with a model number SM-N900 ! ,

The identity of an Android device is defined in a particular file. It could as easily have been called an iPhone.
Use root checker to confirm root.

Hi,
When asking for help , you should always give as much information about your phone , variant , firmware , rooted/unrooted , stock , any custom installations etc. etc .
Yes , you should be able to return to stock by flashing a stock firmware in odin.
Make a note of your current firmware , and flash one that is is equal to , or later than the current one.

thanks. but i even do not have any idea of these terms as Variant, and Stock in this syntax. i am using samsung galaxy s4 i9505
and recently upgraded to 4.3 from 4.2 only.
now may you also guide me to how to do what you mentioned ?

Hi,
Well the variant you have is the samsung galaxy s4 i9505
Stock is the firmware that it came with from the shop.
Find this in settings /about phone.
Make a note of it.
I take it that the upgrade came in the form of an OTA (Over The Air )
So , your current firmware is 4.3
May I suggest a LOT more reading before embarking on anything.

Guys My Device was on android 4.3 and it was rooted , I wanted to upgrade to android kitkat 4.4.2 so i unrooted and checked for upgrade .. i get this error ( your device has been modified ) , I did it before with my galaxy s3 and it worked fine but it doesn't work with note 3 .
-How can i fix this ?
-I want the upgrade without losing my apps so no flashing and odin
- is the update .. Really worth it ?

-Root it, triangle away, unroot it, might just work.
-If the method above didn't work, it's probably Knox messing with u and u wouldn't be able to flash any anything even if u wanted to.
-For the Note 3 I would say yes.

Just download a full firmware and flash it through odin. Simple and u don't need headache.
for upgrade cross firmware (different base), advisable to do fullwipe. In upgrade to KK, full wipe will lessen ur headache about some FC/some apps not working/huge battery drain.
ur choice to make.
Yes update worth it. My battery can last almost 2 days with 3-4 hrs screen on.

Hello XDA forum! I'm new to the forum, but i have some knoledge about rooting used to own one fo the first HTC Desire phones and used to do all kinds of things to it! But i have a question i recently bought the NEO and i was wondering is there a way to root this phone without changing the kernel or tripping knox? I'm from Bulgaria and i just want to know if there is a method for my phone version.

I did try some on click root methods like TowerlRoot,but it didn't work.

hi ,
same procedure as root ,you flash it with Odin ( place phone in download mode ,connect to pc ( Odin ) etc.
.Just make sure it is correct version for your phone.
I suggest you research/Google a bit and check YouTube for a video.
I have N910F ,rooted ,CWM ,lollipop v5.0.1 ,stock Rom .
I have rooted ,flashed CWM , many times over the past months ( since October 2014 when Note 4 was released)
Worked 100%but you must know what you are doing ..!

i,m Going insane with this device iv been 5 days trying to revive
so my problem is i cant find the real rom backup to flash it with sp flash tool also i cant get into Downloading mode to flash the device with odin
myphone has no recovery or rom just nothing i flashed a llot of roms here all things what i flashed:
SM-N9100_ForFlashtoolFromReadBack-s7yler : this its work but the touchscreen and volums buttons not working>
Samsung Note 4 Mtk 6572: this one just black screen
SM-N9100>:and this one either and some other roms no rusults :/

Friend, I think you have a fake note 4. There is no n9100, just n910f/c/g/t... Moreover, the mtk6572 is not used by samsung on this phone, mtk6572 is bad cpu from mediatek and it is not used on any note 4...

You forget that the mtk6572 is a dualcore cpu @1,3ghz.... It could not be a serious cpu for the note 4
hey dude i have the freaking same problem!! 5 months and my phone still breacked because the device is fake but if some body has the device and same baseband and he did the rom backup up then 99% we can fix this mother*u****
