Need twrp backup

Would anyone be willing to post a twrp backup, minus user data? It doesn't matter what rom.

i can make a backup of hashcode's ics test roms.. you want cache too?

uploading now via mediafire, give it 30 minutes or so. wifi isn't working in the rom for some reason though, so you might wanna reflash.

hashcode's ICS build 3 with build 5 of the kernel flashed. no wifi. everything but data, twrp 2.1.

[Q] Roms & Kernel

Hello everyone, i was hoping someone can help me out on a problem im having flashing roms. I was using cm7 up to yesterday. Whenever i try to flash a droid 2 rom it'll say failed kernel check and it aborts. Now ive read around about some roms needing to be gingerbread based. But im not sure how to do that. Im rooted 2.3.4 .621. Is there anything i can do or are there any roms that work on. 621? Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you

Hey shadow thanks for helping me once again. I looked over your list of roms and i really liked the steel droid custom ics. Whenever i try to flash it tells me this :
asser failed: run_program ("/temp/check_kernel")
==0
error in /sdcard/sd2_gb_3000.zip
(status 7)
Installation aborted
that's the problem i have been facing when i try to flash other roms also. Any clue as to what's wrong?

1. check which version of cwm is it 2.0 or 5.0?
2. you are choosing Install zip from sd card, not apply sdcard: update.zip?

if cwm recovery is still 2.0, and rom manager will not update it correctly
even if cwm recovery is 5.0, you may need to remove it
remove d2 bootstrap app,then use a root browser, and delete /preinstall/recovery folder
then install the modified D2 bootstrap that has updated to 5.0 cwm

ok your right about steel droid, it has a kernel check
so can't use that, without removing it

yes i sbf back to regular stock 621 plus the root.
I did as you said of removing d2 bootstrap and using a root browser to delete recovery folder.
cwm is 5.0.2.0
tried reflashing steel droid and it gave me the same results.
would you like a screenshot of my phone info?

That'll be wonderful if you can.
I was randomly searching droid 2 roms last night.
I'm not sure which were the two i tried, but i'll search for them again and see if i can remember which two they were and post them.

the best 621 roms are @ Droid 2/R2D2 Development

ok I got the "SD2_GB_3000.zip - Custom ICS"
edited, resigned, installed and it booted
first time I've done that
so I will upload and post the link, when its ready
note: it's not really ics, it's 2.3.7 gb, themed like steel droid ics
looks and runs good from what I can tell

[Q] how to re-partation the internal storeage

The razr M has 8G internal storeage, but I found that the rom original partation map just make that into two part. one for the app storage(maybe for a2sd), take nearly 4G internal storeage, and the last is for store the media files, like audio, images, etc.
My question is that a fine way to re-partion the internal storeage for more larger media store space?

If you use my sd swap (my stickys) the problem is taken care of. You can zero out data/media & the phone will use all the internal memory.
Same with 4.2 + but for some reason only the "cz" dev has one -cm 10.1.

copy the following files in same folder where your AOSP image files are

disconnect device, press power and enjoy!

I would be extremely surprised if that was the case, considering we dont even have mobile data working on CM12 for the Z3 yet. But I'd be happy to be proved wrong

Checked now...and the aren`t sound,mobil data,camara...

Oh, man... I got all excited about it, but it's still full of bugs. Well, waiting for development is the price we have to pay for getting the newest, shiniest phone.

I can't even download it. I get an error when I first try it, then I try again and it says I've reached the hourly download limit.

The new update is very nice. The performance is buttery smooth on stock.
Given the way that the three files must be manually flashed via fastboot, are there any confirmed working recoveries at the moment? If I could flash a gapps package, I would gladly use this as a daily driver.

You can install the latest build (boot, system, userdata) then flash the andro kernel boot.img. Boot into TWRP. Flash gapps, and then reflash the original boot.img. Boom Gapps.

Getting error 1 in TWRP when trying to install LineageOS on a dual boot setup

does anyone know how to get around this? I was able to dualboot sorta working in our device using the last dual patcher. My primary rom is TGP then I want to install LOS 15 as the second rom. But I get this error 1 on twrp after flashing.
