I have a folder on my pc with backups and downloads of apps going all the way back to my Evo and tried AnyCut app... It was force closing so I figured I would see if it was on the play store and low and behold it is.. And you can create shortcuts for any activity on your phone(even if it's a hidden activity)
Was able to turn download booster on, write prls on the go an enable lte band 3

Yes...but just showing download booster enabled does not mean it is actually working. Have you checked to see if it is or not? I don't believe it can without the proper edits/files required to do so. When RevelationOmega was working on the download booster mod it was able to be enabled in the beginning but had no functionality until after a lot of edits were done and files imported.

Why would you enable LTE band 3? That doesn't exist in the USA and in fact the most recent firmware removes it even.
Having it enabled is thought to have a slight impact on battery and LTE scan time because it's an extra frequency to scan for, that doesn't exist in the USA.
Unless you are in a country with Band 3 you should leave it off.
And as the other user said download booster won't work just because it's on unless you did the other mods required for it.

I have been using timeriffic along with APNdroid to turn my data off at night with froyo but APNdoid did not work with GB once I updated my phone to EH03 with superclean3. I download the new APNdroid 3.0 form the market and it turn data on and off but it is not compatible with timeriffic. Are there any other apps out there that can do this on GB for the fascinate? I have tried netschedule but it didn’t turn the data on and off like it should. It seems that the CDMA phones are a little different and I would appreciate any help you guys could give.
They changed the way data is turned off in Gingerbread and now even with root access is not possible. This is how I do it. Get tasker from the market, you can use tasker to switch it on/off on a schedule, among other 1000 things tasker can do.
Also get titanium backup, inside titanium you can make tasker a "system" app, once you do that tasker will be able to control the data switch. I am not sure if you need to buy titanium backup pro in order to convert apps into "system apps".
My 2 cents.

thanks for the info.
Do you have to make tasker a system app in order for it to switch data on and off? Just courious since there are free apps that say they switch data on and off by schedule but I was unable to get them to work. I wanted to know if I make them a system app if they would work as advertised. Also APNdroid and APNdroid mini are able to switch data on and off in GB through widgets but not by a time schedule. How can I tell if they are system apps?
Yes you have to make tasker a system app in order to be able to switch data. I dont know about the other apps.

I'm trying out Wireless Chief right now. According to the description it will do everything you want.
Features:
- Turn features on or off depending on screen state
- Disable wifi if no known network is available
- Change wifi scan intervals and scan attempts to save juice
- Schedule autosync and background data
- Force autosync on wifi only
- Manage radios according to battery level
- Disable push entirely

I've only had it in for a couple of hours so I can't say Yea or Nay yet.

Thanks for all the replies but I have found an easy solution. I updated APNdroid to the latest version, 3.0.15, and it works with timeriffic. I have been using timeriffic for the past year and it seems to be the easiest way for me to set up a schedule for data and volume control.
So, I installed Samsung's Smart Switch app on my old S3 and my new S4, then held the two phones together. NFC was used to setup a wifi direct connection, and then Smart Switch transferred photos, videos, messages (txt/mms), and a few other things... but, Samsung seems to ignored two of the most painful parts of getting a new phone: app settings and icon placement.
Anyone who has had an Android phone for more than a few months likely has more than 100 apps installed, each has been configured (login, settings, saved games, etc) and icons have been moved to your desired location on the home screen. Getting a new Android phone means you have to manually do all of this again...
Did I have too high of hopes for Smart Switch or did I miss something during the transfer?
Are there any other options for this that do not require rooting the phone?

I doubt any app or method would allow you to copy/replicate your app placement.
For app data, Titanium Backup is the best but you require root for that.
If you don't wanna root, you could try this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.backup&hl=en
You will need a pc, but it can restore apps as well as app data across devices without root. A word of caution though, don't restore samsung apps/app data as it may clash with newer versions of the apps on the S4. Use it only for other third party apps you may have installed.
Awesome! I'll give Carbon a try.
I just rooted my Note 3 and am I trying to access the hidden menu to activate band 4 LTE for AT&T. Each time I use a file editor, it says I have no permissions to save the file. I even used Super User being flashed, but that caused problems and my phone unrooted itself (strange, idk why.) How can I enable the hidden menu without permissions? I really need LTE on AT&T because the HSPA and HSPA+ speeds are atrocious. Any help will be appreciated.

I would recommend that you use root browser. That way you can edit the value, using the built in text editor. I used this my app, to edit the service menu value to ON then save it. After saving I would reboot your phone to make sure the changes were saved in the build prop. After your phone reboots, type this in the dialer: *#060# and you should recieve an MEID number that should look something like this: 9849098408940/00
Then you can access your hidden menu by typing in : *#27663368378# from there you can turn enable band 4 and LTE-AWS if it's available in your area. Good luck and happy testing If you have further questions, please have a look at this thread:

Is there any app or widget that can automaticaly switch to 2G network when I turn off data, and automaticaly switch to 3G/4G when I trun on data ?
I've found many apps where they can switch between 2G-3G-4G but not automaticaly.
Tasker can do this.
This app might also work

That thread no longer exists. Tasker is quick and easy to do it with bro try that. Will save your manual toggle efforts as well.

I've read about Tasker but is seems to need Root access in order to alter 2G - 3G - 4G
Can someone confirm/deny that changing network modes require root ?

Yes it does require root unfortunately, sorry for half baked info earlier. But that (rooting) seems to be the only way to get what you want and a lot more using tasker few similar apps n plugin.

I use Automagic to drive the UI to flip between 3G and 4G. Root not required for this, but screen needs to be on and the phone unlocked for it to succeed (as if you were doing it manually). My Automagic flow/script waits for the right conditions (unlocked/screen on and, for me, the phone being away from or at home) and then I see it make the change. It's better than remembering to do it manually, anyway...

My MXP only offers the user to switch between 4G and 3G - I don't know how to force it to 2G (I'm UK based)
Automagic does not seem to have a trigger to spot if you have set DATA on or off, but it DOES have an action which may work
The action Set Mobile Datanetwork State turns the mobile datanetwork on or off.
Warning: This function is not officially supported by Android and might not work on all devices.
So, if it works, you could create a shortcut of your own to toggle DATA on or off and also explicitly drive the UI to make other settings at the same time...
Automagic has a trial so you could try it. It's all based on flow diagrams which you edit to accomplish what you want, and has scripting too.
http://automagic4android.com/en/help/base-concepts
I moved to it from Llama, I couldn't get my head around Tasker, and haven't looked back. Both Dev and users are VERY responsive on the Automagic forum too
For example, here is my flow to control 3G/4G. It looks for my location set in another flow and the current network state, setting it appropriately.

... and the script that drives the UI to check the radio button for 4G (if not already checked), return to what was on the screen before and set a global variable to the network type it set

Thanks mate, I'll try it and see how it works
Good evening, XDA. Recently, I spent the night rooting the LG V20 model by T-Mobile H91810d. Successfully followed James Lane 19 minute tutorial on Youtube for it and flashed noverity by the end.
Regardless, it still won't allow my PC to completely view data files, the V20's temperature rose (used to feel a lot cooler), and the speed became significantly slower. Immediately enabled developer mode and disabled automatic updates to keep my current software version.
I just want to see files within offline applications like Planescape Torment Enhanced Edition for modding purposes. Does anybody know how to successfully view app data specifically through PC at this point? The app data is clearly visible through Google Playstore's mobile file explorers.

I forgot to select "show hidden files" on my PC before. Could it be that?
I wish. All files extensions are already set to show for Fallout and Skyrim modifications. Thanks for the response
Showing extensions and viewing hidden files are different options. You probably know that... just putting it out there.
I can't recall the exact situation, but I have had instances where files on my phone were unavailable, or non copyable from the phone. You can try a adb pull of the folder, or using an internal file manager compress, then copy the compressed file. Also make sure you can see hidden files on the computer lol.
I got the view hidden files feature switched on and double checked this now to make sure. The worst part is I can't paste over the app's invisible file structure with a replicated one. It creates a new folder instead like if there's some invisible force shield around it or something lol
