I had a non-EUR ROM. After some messing about this solved my problem

Why do LG even bother with different software variants of the D802? Just seems to be a waste of effort and time.

Hi guys
was just wondering if the d802 model in the uk was suffering the same call problems that some users of the cdma versions in the states are having?
Thanks
I don't know what problems cdma version has. No problems here with d802 from Carphone Warehouse.
I have a LG G2 D802 and my network is MTS Serbia, I have a problem in call.ljudi complain to me hard of hearing and the modulation desperate. how to solve this problem. I think that for such a serious and expensive phone such errors would have to occur.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
Have you guys tried enabling noise cancellation in the dialer settings?I am having excellent call quality
Sent using LG D802 on Bell Canada...
Like a Baws!
im looking at these two phones lg g2 d802 (international) and d800 (ATT) ? version.
Theres like $100 price difference on amazon. Wondering whats the difference between them and both work on ATT?
If i bought the d802 would it work fine on att, with 4g, lte ect? What would i be losing exactly is my question.
I'm looking to pick up a G2 mainly to root and install some custom Roms like Miui or Cyanogenmod. Is the D802 a good choice for this or should I look to a different device, if so can you all recommend something.
As far as ROMs are concerned, there's not much difference between the G2 variants (D801, D802, LS980, VS980, etc) because most of the popular ROMs already support all the variants. The difference lies with the hardware in the devices as they support different LTE bands around the world - there's no one perfect G2 that does it all, unfortunately, and some of them like the LS980 (Sprint model) and the VS980 (Verizon, with wireless charging support built in, the only G2 that does) have not only GSM radios but also CDMA so ROMs need to cover that as required.
The best solution is find the G2 that supports what you need supported, especially for LTE capability in your area (if a G2 can handle it, that is) and then that would most likely be the one for you.
Quite frankly, when I got my D802 I sort of regretted not importing a F320 S/K.
The ability of plugging in a MicroSD, a replaceable battery (although a tad smaller) and first to get updates seemed like a better deal.
But for custom roms, a D802 is really the way to go. Most roms are built for the D802 and the support is just outstanding. On the other hand, it's much harder to find roms that fully support the F320.
Don't bother with D805/6, they're practically a D802 with some added headache here and there. If you are on an American carrier you'll have to pick the variant specific to your carrier.
In short - go with the D802 if you want the best Rom support and development.
Go for a F320 if you want replaceable battery, micro SD and faster updates.
Hi XDA & LG G2 Users,
I am planning for a ling time to get LG G2, so finally I make up my mind to get one. I am currently using Samsung S3 LTE 2GB RAM version and I switching because of the battery timing of the stock battery...as its only 2100 MHZ I guess so..whereas the LG G2 have 3100 Mhz i think.. which is like yehhhhh Now I have one concern that here in my country almost every G2 variant is available in market i.e. Korean F series, AT&T D801, to Sprint & T-Mobile and every variant is working on all cellular operators in my country... but there is one model that is LG G2 D802 which is international model.. Please suggest me which model should I but, because if I will buy korean so on that variant we cant use edge here.. but any body here can please confirm that which model have better dev support here.. which model have better and more ROMs as currently there are very less ROMs for my S3 LTE whereas for SGS3 9300 model there are alot of ROMs and mods. So some times I feel quite sad that why my model have not much ROMs as compare to S3 with 1GB RAM,
So, I don't want to be sad once I purchase G2 ... so guys please suggest me, which variant is good like, hassle free from installing modems to get the network work.. like most of the Korean variants we have to flash separate patch after installing ROMs or there will be many many issues regarding signals... I hope that you'll understand my concern what I've asked for...
Looking forward for your replies and suggestions...
hello
I have a few LG G2 D802 in the family and I'm curious if a D802 motherboard would fit in another G2, as Sprint, Verizon or any other D80x.
I think it would fit D80x but unsure about the others.
Seen a few different ones and I'm considering to buy and use a working motherboard...

Maybe could fit in other G2's but the Verizon version (VS980) is quite different starting the back buttons. Maybe other components could be different as well. Sometimes, the US hardware version of any smartphone are different from global versions except of course the iPhone.
for me D802 motherboatd working fine for D801 phone
