What's the best AOSP ROM? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

I've been away for a while. What's the best and most stable rom for the sprint GS4?

There is no Best ROM. Try out the ones that you feel will suit your needs. Make backups just in case.

Thanks, I was hoping there was some kind of famous AOSP ROM, but it was worth the try.

you may want to try rewording. like ask for a Rom with the features your looking for then narrow your search. but in the end the best ROM is the one that works for you. opinions are just that and very greatly. the Rom i'm using i have seen people love and hate, and the haters are saying things about it that are configuration issues because they didn't follow directions so as far as i'm concerned their opinion is moot. try this site. it has i nice list of ROM's that are out there, no ratings no preferences just a list you read up check the comments like i did and choose.

[Official] Bye bye I9100

Official Goodbye thread for GS2 owners, say your peace to the greatest sub community on XDA I9100
Today, I say goodbye to my GS2.
Downloaded latest stock firmware from sammobile.
Flashed, wiped.
Zipped up in bag to be sent to CarphoneWarehouse tomorrow, £230 for it, not bad.
All in preparation for the S3
Soon as money comes in, im preordering that mofo
Goodbye I9100 community! It's been fun.
Bye, Karl.

well, im sure everyone of us is grateful for this thread. Im sure we would have been over run with "where is brendonwardmusic?" threads. Might have had to send out search parties too
OK, with my PM Inbox blowing up, this will be the "official" goodbye thread
Yeah man, thats exactly why I made this thread, didn't want anyone to think I disappeared, sending men and woman out after me would be a waste of time.
Reason(s) I made this thread.
1. I've developed for the I9100
2. I've throughly enjoyed being on XDA and being part of the I9100 community.
3. I like to annoy stupid ****ing trolls like yourself.
If thats not good enough for a thread, then bend me over and call me charlie.
Sad that I get banged for saying goodbye to people I've helped and to the people that have helped me.

take care Brendon mate. been following you since the xtreme days and Smaberg is back doing his magic on the One X now...Shame you not joining us there anyways fella take it easy
Why not stick with the classic S2?
S3 seems more like a transitional product to fill the gap between S2 and the next gen great phones. I doubt it would be as popular as S/S2
@Goku80
How is the One X mate? Planning to get it instead of the sgs3.

Idea to make a poll

I do not know whether it exists or not
I just want to suggest to the moderators or developers as possible to make a poll by the chart or anything else
able to ROM, Kernel, Threads, etc.
so it helps us all see the ups and downs of something based on it and vote for the beginner to find out .. :fingers-crossed:
thank you
Wut?

Yeah, its a good idea.
Its a lot better than new users creating a new thread & asking the best ROMs available..
It serves as a good informal guide to using ROMs according to their personal requirements.
Hope the Mods do it !:fingers-crossed:

Right!
It is a bad idea to compare ROMs as is impossible to judge which ROM is best as everyone has different preferences. You can only say which ROM has the most features, is the most lightweight, is the most beautiful etc.

Attention Developers And SGS2 Users

Hi guys,
You may know me as @shetalksandroid on Twitter or from my personal blog, SheTalksAndroid.com. OR, you may not know me at all
So hi! I'm Ada and I do SGS2 ROM reviews every week but I also write some useful stuff for SGS2 users and Android users in general like How To Guides, Tips & Tricks, and Editorials.
DEVELOPERS! Do you want me to review your ROM or app? Please send me a private message. Oh, and I write reviews for free Do take note that I write PROs and CONs for everything so readers can decide whether or not to install what you made. The final decision is up to them What's in it for you? You get higher chances of getting donations from my readers who like your work. I get 500 to 700 readers every day.
SGS2 OWNERS! Feel free to comment in this thread if you need help on something. I can't post links to my most useful posts yet so feel free to explore my blog or ask for help here I'm no expert but I try to make my guides as noob-friendly as possible.
NOTE: Please understand that ALL my posts are written from an average user's point of view. If ever you find links that don't work and typographical errors, or if you have something to add or suggest, leave comments here or on my blog. Also, I usually update posts and reply to comments on weekends. I have a full-time job and kids so I hope you understand :victory:
Welcome to XDA, where there is alot of kids nowadays. Anyway, i've pm'ed you.

I can see that it's still a nightly build but I'm curious what it is I won't be able to review it right away since my readers have already suggested some. So sit tight! I will let you know when it's ready.

What is, in your opinion, the best custom rom out there?

It's simply an opinion thread, opinions are very welcome! Explain why you like the rom so much and what makes it different from the others, in your experience.
Edit: To those who think this question is too sensitive and might ignite some heated discussion, so be it! Nothing is wrong with comparing roms and experiences, and it's great to highlight the good and bad of each rom in the way each person sees it. This is why diversity is great. Again, if you're not comfortable with this, you're welcome to not click on this thread, you're not the only one in this forum!
I say either carbon or liquidsmooth. ..?

One rom is not better than the other..period. all of the roms have their own unique feature and look. Its all on what a user prefers. Actually, its not wise to ask whats the best. That does nothing but start a war.

Its amazing how people come Q&A Help thread and post comments without the intent to help at all. All they do is waste your time and theirs, Unless they have nothing better to do, which seems to be the case.
Anyways, to answer your question on a good solid TW ROM. Try Sacs ROM. It's the most solid one I've tried to date.
Here is the link to Sacs latest ROM.

Dude just try a few roms out and find the one you like. It's not about what's the best rom it's what rom is best for you. Making a what's the best rom thread is very offensive to developer's.

I'm currently testing a CM11 unofficial. I like to test out different ROMs. When it comes to a TW ROM I tent to go back to Sacs ROMs. They are stable and include good useful features and also allow for some UI mods.
Thread closed. We don't do "best of" here. Please do like I do and in the future take the time to read the ROM threads in development to see what looks like a good ROM. There's plenty of feedback in those threads... And only takes a few minutes... Q and A is generally meant for HELP with something YOU can not solve... This was easily solved with just a little reading... Thank you...
