You may know me as @shetalksandroid on Twitter or from my personal blog, SheTalksAndroid.com. OR, you may not know me at all
So hi! I'm Ada and I do SGS2 ROM reviews every week but I also write some useful stuff for SGS2 users and Android users in general like How To Guides, Tips & Tricks, and Editorials.
DEVELOPERS! Do you want me to review your ROM or app? Please send me a private message. Oh, and I write reviews for free Do take note that I write PROs and CONs for everything so readers can decide whether or not to install what you made. The final decision is up to them What's in it for you? You get higher chances of getting donations from my readers who like your work. I get 500 to 700 readers every day.
SGS2 OWNERS! Feel free to comment in this thread if you need help on something. I can't post links to my most useful posts yet so feel free to explore my blog or ask for help here I'm no expert but I try to make my guides as noob-friendly as possible.

If ever you find links that don't work and typographical errors, or if you have something to add or suggest, leave comments here or on my blog. Also, I usually update posts and reply to comments on weekends. I have a full-time job and kids so I hope you understand :victory:

I wish I was still a kid Thank you for your warm welcome! I saw your PM and would love to try it out. Do you personally know the devs?
I can see that it's still a nightly build but I'm curious what it is I won't be able to review it right away since my readers have already suggested some. So sit tight! I will let you know when it's ready.

Good news, i'm reading your blog right now. It's good to have someone to review loads of roms. Since most of people don't have time for testing which rom suits their needs. Thanks for your work.

Syempre, pero taga mindanao jud ko, sa xebu lang ko nag skwela. Hehe. Taga asa dei ka?
Translation as per XDA rules: Ofcourse, but i am originally from mindanao, but i am here in cebu to study. Hehe. Where are you from?

Official jb experience!!

So, the official update is here. Atleast in some regions while others wait for it. Though numerous roms r out with jb, I thought we could just start a thread for getting the people who wait for it excited (already excited, even so.). so, let us begin with the changes, one question I would like to ask is about the startup of phone app? Is it still slow? Thought, I felt my phone blazing fast, the instant I press phone , it just bring down the smile. . Comeon people!! Share!!!!:thumbup:

Just thought of creating a thread where everyone can share if they feel like instead of asking who wish to know the experience by looking at number of other post! Isn't this a forum which is actually built to Help other people? What is so wrong with just sharing some experience? Is it so forbidden or something? Comeon people!!

dude, if this is legit, I'd love to have slim ROM!(sorry been hurtbefore on another phone I owned) I've tried building it for myself, but didn't work out. do you have any reputable sources of your work?

idk mine works very slim lol i could help you out ill post the link but the thread will be very small basically a copy of my other build for the epic 4g

I honestly kind of just feel like posting here until it goes up. I dont know what kernel Unjust was talking about with vanir though, he mentioned we had to flash a kernel to get some things working in another thread. So I wont flash it until I know what he is talking about.

Its in general under kernels and flash able tweaks last page I recommend the one with twrp 2.5 and devil

Yeppers and here is post that has the other variants like:: devil w/cwm,,, cm w/twrp, etc...
There are in the main post of my thread,,, slightly better organized...
I've tried to give descriptions to all the that deviate from a std devil kernel, and referencing the ROM too if anyone needs better clarification...
Been thinking about cleaning up my OP some,,,, we have so many more choices then when i started it, it was only 'devil or cm',,, no twrp and no mixtures of recoveries and kennels,,,
Plus with kernel control apps,,, most were only going with one or two,,, so i searched and tried to push the envelope, spent tons of hours testing what apps would work with the kernel since jb had broken some of those beloved features,,, but i think most understand now and have their favorite...

Tried the Vanir ROM, had a few problems with it. I could not toggle WiFi on/off. None of my root apps could obtain root access. Several issues with Superuser

Let me rephrase that - since I have no idea about your specific ROM I can not say if it is a problem very specific to that or if you are another clueless guy who did not care to read the rules of this forum starting with the first one:

Maybe I am clueless, maybe I don't spend enough time trolling other peoples posts? If you've nothing constructive to offer then why bother? Asking why I've asked the question is totally irrelevant if I've already asked it! Don't you have some star trek annuals to alphabetise or something?

And yes I did read the rules, but like most people on here I'm not infallible, is forgetting a simple rule a hanging offence? The problem here is someone with nothing better to do than pick up on others mistakes! A petty one at that.. If I wanted trolling I'd of asked on twitter, seems I made the mistake of thinking most people on here were helpful rather than critical..

Use uTorrent, I see you are using the Vuze client which causes issues with some models.

aTorrent is the best client by far!
