[Q] Won't boot, drivers won't load - Nexus 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a Nexus 7 gen 1 that died at some point during a Google OTA update and was then given to me, so I'm not sure which factory firmware is on it.
When attempting to boot the device, it gets to the Nexus splash screen and stays there indefinitely. I booted it into the bootloader and connected it to a Windows 7 machine by USB, and Windows device manager detects it as "Android Device>Android Bootloader Interface" and installs a driver for it.
I then put the Nexus into recovery mode and it disappears from the Windows device manager. I wiped the cache partition and also data/factory reset. It still gets stuck at the splash screen when attempting to boot after the wipe, so back to recovery mode.
I choose "apply update from ADB", and then a "Nexus 7" appears in Windows device manager with no driver. Windows attempts to install a driver and fails. I attempt to update the driver using Google's USB driver, one from the SDK, and one from ASUS (they all appear to be the same folder), but on all attempts Windows says that it cannot find a driver for the device in the specified folder. Meanwhile 'adb devices' shows no detected device.
Can somebody provide a suggestion as to be able to sideload an image to this device? I don't know why the USB driver won't install, unless the Nexus has to be in USB debug mode, or the hardware is defective. And I haven't found a way to get it into debug mode when it won't complete a boot.
All reasonable suggestions welcome.

[Q] Fastboot Recovery - No USB recognition

Hi all,
first of all - sorry for my bad english.
I have the following problem with my nexus 7:
the device is rooted and has the clockworkmod recovery installed, the Android version is 4.1.1.
My Computer stopped to recognize the tablet when i connected it, and it is not listed in the device manager anymore.
I tried different USB-ports, cables and even computers with no result, but OTG with Stickmount still worked.
So i tried to install a rom via clockwork mod, but the installation process aborded.
When rebooting the device stucked at the white google logo and still does.
I can go into fastboot mode but if i choose "recovery" i will get back to the google logo forever again.
I found this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1773431&highlight=no+usb&page=2)
with instructions to flash the factory image via fastboot mode.
Now the fastboot command from the console shows also no result.
But i can´t install the driver, because my tablet isn´t recognized by my pc in any way evon not listed in the device manager.
Any Ideas?

HELP! Nexus 7 Stuck at X Logo - Unlocked Bootloader and installed CWM

I tried rooting my nexus 7 (16GB 2013) with 4.3 installed on it today and I ran into an unusual error - It is stuck at the X logo after booting.
I have successfully unlocked my bootloader and installed a custom recovery - CWM v.6.0.3.7. I can access the bootloader and get into recovery mode fine. My nexus 7 is also showing up as an Android device only while in the bootloader - When I get into recovery mode it shows up as a portable device with a yellow exclamation mark next to it on my computer's device manager.
The problem is I'm not sure how to transfer any files to it in order to install any roms/fixes/etc. I can't boot and when I connect my tablet to my computer, while in recovery mode, it will not show up as a media device - So I'm not sure how to transfer any files to it. Also whenever I try performing a backup on CWM it gives me an error saying: "can't mount backup path." For some reason CWM can't mount my sd card, which I don't understand either. I'm hoping this is an easy fix, maybe I forgot a step but I don't want to try anything else yet without gathering more information about my problem. All I've done so far is installed the Android usb drivers on my computer, enabled USB debugging, Unlocked the Bootloader, and then Installed Clockwork Recovery Mod v 6.0.3.7. After the last step I am unable to boot or transfer files to the sd card.
Any help or suggestions are welcome and appreciated. Thank You!

[Q] Restore using a Mac?

I had my LG rooted with TWRP installed. Then the OTA came and is making my device go into an endless loop. I cannot even enter the download mode- it just goes into TWRP. Windows does not load drivers anymore- tried 3-4 different packages, G2 shows up in Device Manager but with the exclamation mark for no drivers and ADB doesn't show any devices.
Using my Mac, I can connect to ADB. I tried pushing the PA ROM and the file transfers but when I try to install, i just get a failed message.
Can anyone possibly help?

possible dead nexus 7

Long story short. My son went into recovery (TWRP) and wiped my rom. Not im looping at the google screen. I can access twrp and the fastboot screen. I tried to use the nexus 7 toolkit to restore it but it tells me the drivers are not loaded. I have tried everything I know. Every step to loading drivers says to check usb debugging...but I can't even boot a rom because I haven't got one on the tablet. Is there a way I can load a rom even though the tablet won't boot?
Using the NRT, check the box for boot looping/soft bricked, then flash the ROM. Using TWRP, mount USB storage in advanced, transfer the ROM from your PC, then flash.
Mounting USB worked! Thanks!

LG G2 VS980 Bricked

Guys I need urgent Help
Recently I was running AOSP based ROM and tried to flash RR ROM based on Android 5.1.1.
I was not being flashed and was giving error so I dont remember which bootloader or file I flashed to make RR Rom flashing possible.
Then I flashed Gapps and wiped Cache and Delvik and restarted the cell.
After Restart, it was stuck on bootloop. One thing not to forget, It remains stuck on bootloop for several times and finally boots up, and the first screen comes is Android upgrade that works on 96 apps. As soon as upgrade completes, it reboots and remains stuck on bootloop.
If i try to enter into recovery, it takes me to fastboot mode where blackscreen with like commands stating fastboot is displayed.
If i press the volume button up and plug in the cable while connected to Laptop, Download mode starts but Laptop doesn't detect any device.
On the other hand, if started in fastboot mode, ADB device is detected.
I have tried to install LG Drivers, Verizon Drivers and also universal ADB drivers but nothing has worked so far.
The device is not detected at all.
I have windows 10, also tried on windows 8.1 but same issue.
Even tried disabling Driver Signature enforce or updating system but still same issue.
Anyone who could be able to help will highly be appreciated.
