s4 i9505 4.4.2 big problem (plz help)!

hello everybody,i have a big problem (i haven't drooped my phone,screen is completely fine),it started about 2 days ago.
i have been running omega ROM 4.4.2 and never had any problem.
My problem:
1. brightness not working (manual or auto).
2. rotation not working.
3. phone going to sleep after 5-10 sec when i click power button)
4 when i click power button to wake up the phone its working but my screen is black.
but after 5-10 sec it come up.(biggest problem)
What have i tried(nothing worked)
1. factory reset
2. installing a official 4.4.2 firmware.
3. tried omega 4.3 v19
4. tried Google edition 4.4
plz guys help me,i beg u guys!!

Did you ever flashed a custom kernel ?

When u wanna flash any custom ROM pls wipe all before for avoid problems. Anyway OMEGA ROM have new release posted today: HERE

Why u flashed OMEGA 4.3 (android 4.3 -> step 3) if u flashed android 4.4.2 firmware b4 (step 2)? Here started ur problems

i had the problem on omega v25(4.4.2),then i tried to wipe everything,nothing worked so i tried 4.3 but that didn't work as well.:crying:

Best you can do is flash android 4.4.2 stock ROM and we will solve the problems u have there. You can flash other custom rom later if ya wish
*EDIT: I recomend u:
1. Wipe all
2. Install android 4.4.2 Stock ROM
3. Dial *#1234# and attach the screenshot here
4. Solve ur problems (our job)

tried to flash omega v28, same carp again,it only worked for 5 mins,
i flashed the stock ROM and here the screen shot
plz tell me what to do!

I think this stock rom will go ok for ya coz I see the pic attached ok. About Omega, I cant tell ya so much more coz it use different modem/baseband. You can ask in the correct thread :highfive:

Download CPU z and lux brightness from play store.
CPU z has an option which shows the values returned by your sensors.
Move your phone a bit and check if they change accordingly.
Try lux brightness to change ur brightness
From where you downloaded your stock ROM and how did you flashed it?
Which recovery are you using?

I got the stock rom from SamMobile http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=27432 and I flashed it via odin 3.04,i'm using twrp 2.7.

you live in Spain?
If you do live in Spain and use Vodafone then your firmware is OK, else not.
Try to format your data and cache from recovery, FORMAT not just wipe and then flash the stock firmware through Odin.
BTW what results did you got by using those two apps?

i live in Australia and we don't have a official 4.4.2 update yet we only have 4.3 ,but since i was using omega rom 4.4.2, i had to install a Bootloader for it to work and i can't go back to 4.3. i tried to flash the official 4.3 Australian update via odin but it always says fail.

Try the apps I mentioned and post the result.
This might be a problem related to hardware and results of those apps will confirm this.

i can conform that its not a hardware issue,i rooted the stock rom and i got all the problems again
so i had to do a factory reset and flash the stock rom again everything is working fine,but I'm just scared that any moment is gonna mess up again.

Bro i really need a solid fix cos i'm gonna send this phone to my dad and he don't understand all the rom stuff.

[Help] Nearly all roms don't boot

I'm having a small problem and a strange thing...
I flashed the KK bootloader/modem and well the first rom I tried was Omega, well it was stuck on boot with that rom
So I tried a few others like these

crash rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2535355
those simply never got past the samsung logo except for 1 so far which is BeanStalk
Any suggestions could could cause the issue ?

Are you sure the bootloader flashed?
Because you didn't say about flashing a KK Recovery. As the JB ones dont work on the new bootloader

Just try a data factory reset after you flashed a custom rom next time, that should fix the boot issue.

Have you tried clearing the caches after the flash? Did you do a full wipe before flashing the rom? Flashed the correct rom for the N9005?

Oh woow... I tried a custom kernel to see if that did the job and a custom kernel fixed it, thanks for the help tho :victory:

the phone getting hot quickly and restart by him self each 10m i tried make full wipe and remove all data but nothing changed ,
what is wrong with it?

Google : what does gl mean when in trouble? Answer : it may refer to good luck.
Try to do a factory reset. If it doesn't help they try flashing another rom.

try to use rom from another country

i tried others roms now iam on BTU but it over heating and when i charge it over heating to and do restart

but the reason from heating who made mobile restart it SD card when i search on Google many people written it from SD card really when i removed the mobile got better

Did you update your bootloader and modem along with the rom? Obviously a data wipe too.

This is not stock rom....you need odin flash and full wipe....

Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo - camera server error

Hi,
I will say this because i think it matters a lot: first camera problems where after installing new roms like CM 12.1 but there was a nice cam fix so it was good. Yesterday i decided to put a new kernel and I bassicaly screwed everything up. My device didnt boot, I got a black screen after boot logo, so I decided to performa a wipe, and accidentaly wiped every f***ng particion, including system. I thoug to my self "Oh thank God i still have my TWRP recovery", but it was even worse. TWRP couldn't flash any roms ( I still had a CM rom on my sd card) the recovery would just blink and reboot again to it, I was done there completely. Read some forums, after that downloaded a rom for my phone from sammobile. Everything works exept rear camera. I checked that by code *#0*#. I installed different stock roms with different PDA's. I'm guessing that that is a issue that persists from a custom rom? Please help brothers. :highfive:

Why dont you flash a recovery and flash again cm with the camera fix?

Flash Germany latest firmware, my device faced that too, but after i flashed dbt firmware, everything seems good ?

UPDATE: MAN I LOVE YOU #nohomo . My mistake when installing this german region was that i ticket re-particion. I looked that up on the internet that u should not do that. My camera is back again. Manny thanks!

Phone under bootloop after opening camera in Tesla 3.7 custom rom. Please help me...

Recently I flashed my stock rom with Tesla Nougat rom. It flashed succesfully and home screen also appeared. But when I opened the camera app , the phone suddenly switched off and stuck in bootloop.
After this I have flashed many other custom roms with TWRP but also its under the same condition : opens up homescreen but opening camera causes immediate power off and bootloop starts again. Please help me anyone. I think I am in a great trouble here. I have also flashed Lollipop stock rom but it gets stuck in bootscreen and again bootloop. Please help me.any suggestions? :crying::crying:

First I flashed Tesla rom with TWRP 2.8 but now when flashing other custom roms I used TWRP 3.0.1.

It was not faulty before when using stock rom but when I flashed Tesla [n] rom it was installed succesfully,but when I opened the camera app, it automatically shut down my phone and strted to bootloop. After flashing other roms also this problem arises .As soon as I open the camera in any other custom rom , mobile just turns off and starts bootloop. I have flashed MIUI 8 and also cm 12.1 by ed 300 but the problems remains.I have also tried to restore backup of stock rom through TWRP , the homescreen appears and after sometime it agains switches off and goes to bootloop.

Today I flashed stock rom lollipop with QFIL but after flashing again in bootloop.I reckon some hardware problems. What do you guys think?Please tell me . help.....
