[Q] Fully restore phone? - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey,
I recently rooted my Note 3, installed Titanium Backup, got rid of all the bloatware, then unrooted and am currently happy with my phone. Although, I thought, what if I want to sell this phone? Many features aren't working because I uninstalled them permanently, even after a factory reset via the settings. I am just wondering if theres a way to get that stuff back. Thanks.
P.S. If anyone knows why my auto screen rotation isnt working and how to fix it, I'll be thankful even more

Problem restoring trash apps

I used Titanium Backup to remove the bloatware on my Droid X 2.2 OTA and it has some hardware problems and I need to return it. I have had problems restoring the trash apps since apparently I f'd up and only backed up the app data and not the APKs. What's your take on it? Can anyone provide me with the APKs for them ( car dock/mobile hotspot/blockbuster/skype/vznavigator)? Also, what's the worse that could happen if I return it unrooted and after a hard reset?

Simplest thing to do if you are returning it is to go on the hunt for the 2.2SBF file that was just posted/leaked last night. Flashing your device with it will put it back to full stock just like what you get from the OTA update.

Titanium Backup Making me Manually Download each App

Hi everyone,
I have been using Titanium Backup for a while now, but something weird has happened today. I did a factory reset of my Nexus 7, and I backed up everything. But when I went to restore everything, I have to tap install for every individual app, which is weird because I never had to do that. You may think it isn't that big of a deal, but I have over 400 apps, so it take quite a while.
Anyways, if anyone has this problem as well, please tell me, or help me try to troubleshoot.
Thanks
it means that you havent installed the pro version/key

S-Voice crashing

Has anyone else had an issue with s-voice not working? Mine opens fine, takes the voice command, acknowledges it, and then black screen and crash. I've rooted and disabled all the AT&T labeled apps in TiBu and that's it. Any input on troubleshooting would be great!

That's exactly your issue by experience, you can't disable chatOn, somehow it is needed food S voice to work, if you removed them you still need to restore with Kies or Odin, if you didn't remove them, then unfreeze them.
Yeah I had removed them in TiBu and then restored them, but the problems persist. Right after I posted the thread I read another with the same problem. So, right now I'm in the middle of a reset.

Tryng to restore them after been removed doesn't work , like I mentioned before, the same happened to me, it seems that once you remove them something gets corrupted in the shared apps and it doesn't get fixed restoring those apps back in order to fox you must restore with Kies or Odin. but don't worry, you won't lose your data, settings and apps, you will get all the original apps back just re-root, and this time just remove the rest but these ones.

Sensors not working after uninstalling SamsungHub

1st time poster and root newbie here.
I got my S4 i9500 yesterday and have been playing around with it and ended up rooting it.
One of the reasons i wanted to root was to remove the bloatware that came on the phone.
I deleted a few samsung apps, including the hub which originally started an issue with the screen rotation, which i have fixed following the instructions in here:: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2689233
It also presented a proximity sensor issue with calls, which I also fixed with this app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vrognaas.proximityfix
Now I also noticed that the air gesture sensor is also not responsive.
I cant answer or browse/swipe using air gestures. Is there any resource or info I can have on fixing this?
Also is there any other known issues from removing the Samsung hub?
I would appreciate any help
PS: im still a noob at all of this so please trr to be as clear as possible.
PSS: damn Samsung bloatware
@devolin most of the things wont work after UNINSTALLING/DISABLING samsung hub. It is the key module that makes auto rotation/gestures etc. etc. Work..
Please reinstall it if you made a backup of the apk or reflash your stock rom.

I do havea backup made with titanium back up.
Would restoring Samsung Hub would make the air gesture sensors work though ?
Is it a samsung thing? I would've though i need to revert back something else like with the screen rotation fix.

Yeah. Restore it.
Samsunghub is not a thing to be removed.
Why dont CM and AOSP have these features?
Restore samsung hub

thanks for the reply.
Before i restore the backup.
Would installing Samsung hub fresh from the playstore be the same? or it HAS to be a restore ?
appreciate your time!

Need help with Titanium backup!

Last night, I decided to update my unlocked and rooted 2017U from Marshmallow to Nougat. Before I made the move, I've done a full backup from Titanium backup, just like what I've done for so many times before flushing a new ROM. Everything went smoothly. After the initial setup, I wanted to use TB to restore most of my apps. Then the nightmare starts, from the "restore missing apps with data", I have 0 apps. From the Backup/Restore tap, I have hundreds of crossed over files at the bottom (image was attached). I've never had issues like this before. Anybody have idea how to fix this? Thanks.

This is the error I got when using two different versions of TB
I don't think I have a different version of TB.. 8.0.0.1 is the version I have... How did you "fix" the error?
I just took the correct APP. But I also found out, that when you install the missing app, you will be able to restore the setting. And these are the most important, aren't they? ?
Sorry I can't do any more ?

Thanks for all the help. Unfortunately, most of restore doesn't work very well. Apps will be forced stop. It feels like the marshmallow data is not compatible with nougat's. By the way, I've tried two different builds already, all with the same problem. Damn, hate to say that, but It's time to go back to marshmallow.

I doubt this is the reason, I went from mm to n with tibu backups working fine, restored like it should and no fc or anything.
I hear you, I've done many restores using TB. This is the first time I am having problem like this. It's so weird.
