If you erased everything you can either flash the factory image, my first choice, or sideload a rom in recovery

Well, if what you say is true and you are correctly flashing the factory images with fastboot ( including the radio )
your screwed.

Download a nexus 4 ROM and flash that.
Next time do not ever ever flash a rom that is not meant for the device. Is your phone a S4? No. Is it a HTC One? No. Stick with ROMs and kernels meant for your device and you'll be good.

He said he ACCIDENTALLY flashed the ROM of a gs4. No need to rip him apart for a mistake, I think he is going to suffer enough by having to replace his defective phone.

Did flash the factory images via Fastboot ?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
Tough luck mate
I'm no expert, but obviously you've overwritten your modem/radio partition, maybe even corrupted. I don't know if you could zero that partition (with dd codes) and then flash one of our radios... Not sure if that would work...
Edit:

Check this post, seems like he made the same thing, see if he solves it, he might help you.

Did you flash all the files? System, boot loader, radio... Something like 6 files? If not I would flash all the files. If so I would flash them again.

No, it's not because it's aosp. Nexus 4 uses aosp but the drivers and all are different on each device.
I'm sorry if I sounded like a total jerk before.

Install 4.1 via nexus toolkit. Then 4.2. This should install the nexus radio as well.

[Q] Does someone can help me?

I flash a new rom yesterday for my nexus 4. Unfortunately, it was stuck in the custom rom logo.
I want to fix it via recovery mode. Sadly, my volume key was broken:crying:
Does anybody knows how can I boot my nexus 4 without using volume key? (it was stuck in the custom rom logo.)
Is it an other way that is possible to fix my phone?
And don't pick on my english, I know that is poor:angel:
Use the application goo manager, it gives you the option to reboot into recovery

For messages not sending, I assume you're connected to your carrier's data network. If not, it's probably a radio issue.
Assuming everything is okay with your carrier, I'd try resetting your APN settings. Under Wireless & Networks click on "More..." followed by "Mobile networks" and "Access Point Names." Following this click on the three dots in the top right, reset to defaults... restart your phone and report back. :good:
Didn't work..

I'm still stuck w/o messages sending .. I've tried everything idk if I never touched my baserand/radio/ boot loader or any of it. I've always flashed 4.3 Roms just the way they were clean flash. Then I restore to stock and messages won't send

Chances are there's a mismatch somewhere. I'd do a complete restore using the factory image from Google and go from there
I download the factory image from Google and it shows up under downloads but won't show up on ROM manager or in recovery its like it didn't download.. But ik it did

it's not rolled out to everyone at the same time.
if it's that urgent, download the flashable zip's from the development thread and flash 'em. There's also a factory image available from Google that you can flash from your computuer.

It's not urgent or anything. It's just that I see threads around saying that they got the 4.4.3 update so I was a bit worried....

definitely or you can download and flash 4.4.3 factory image
Lets be honest here you have 2 choices its either wait and no one here can tell you when you will get the update or just flash images... Or my bad third choice root and flash stock zips out there. Keep rebooting if you are worried about it or keep checking if you have a check for update section. Hard to believe anyone with a N4 that does not root it.... Good Luck my friend

Haha.......I tried that this morning and the best I could get was the 4.4.2 update...... Sadly I'm an impatient guy...... So I'll just download the ota which other other people have uploaded

My next doubt is...... Now I've the ota zip file which is around 78mb...... should I flash the 4.4.3 kernel and radio first and then flash the ota file or can I directly flash the ota file??

If you don't have the stock 4.4.2 kernel you will have to flash that first. The radio shouldn't matter

Use the link I gave you earlier. It'll flash the full factory image except for recovery and userdata. It does not wipe the device

Just use wug toolkit to flash the OTA zip and root after again.
A few computer clicks is all that it takes.
Only things you need to start is to have ready at your device, the zip files of ota and supersu.

The error was because of the xposed framework

OTA update are performed in batches, so after several days, you will get the OTA update, if unsuccessful, you will be shifted to another batch of updates.
