I had CM11 snapshot M5 running on my tablet and out of the blue I had Google Plus f/c on me while not in use. Then Chrome f/c while not in use, then I think it was YouTube f/c when not in use. I restarted the tablet and it got to the CM loading screen, then restarted itself and now it will not go past the intro screen with the Google logo and the lock at the bottom. It will sit on the Google screen for about 10 seconds then reboot and it just keeps doing that.
I managed to get into TWRP and updated to TWRP 2.7.0.0 I have 2 ROM zips in my cmupdater folder on my sd so I did a full wipe and tried to install both of those, but they have the same outcome of going to the Google screen then rebooting.
If anyone can help that would be so much appreciated. Nothing was updated but apps from what I can tell so I have no idea what happened and why it is still happening after a full wipe and fresh flash.

I have a nexus 10, rooted running latest nightly CM (19/12) and has been running fine without issues.
I turned it on this morning and its sat at the Google boot logo (and doesnt go any further).
I booted to recovery and did a reflash, wiped cache, wiped dalvic etc ... no joy.
tried a complete factory reset still no joy, is not booting past the google screen.
what next?

Sounds like its something in the /system or /boot partitions, maybe. You might need to download the official, completely stock N10 firmware that the device came with and flash that to fix the problem. You can probably just google search for 'stock Nexus 10 firmware' and find a download link somewhere. Of course, if you have a backup file of before you flashed the CM nightly, then you could just restore that and it would work in much the same way don't panic, there is always a way
I got seemingly the same problem. Was copying a movie to the tablet and it crashed as usual. Probably ****ed up the file system or something. Now im traveling for the first time since I bought the tablet and it doesn't work. Grrrreat. :/
Edit: while I was sulking on the way to the airport (actually I wasnt sulking as I just got a new job 20 minutes ago yay) the tablet decided to boot up just fine when I wasnt watching.
First off, thanks for all the great information on this site. It has gotten much mileage out of our Nook Color.
Now, the issue. I installed the latest cyanogenmod 10.2 nightly and it worked great. I installed some apps, rebooted, and all was well. Installed some more, rebooted and now I'm stuck at the cyanogenmod boot animation. I did force hardware acceleration in 2D (or whatever that option is called) to see if it helped some games... could that be it? I tried clearing cache and dalvik cache and it "optimized", then stuck on the screen again.
What are my options here? I really don't want to go through loading apps all over again. Any help is appreciated!
Hi I have two nexus 4 phones Running CM 12.1 (20151007 build) and I'm trying to create a backup from one and move it to the other one.
For some reason after restore CM is stuck on the splash screen I can open an ADB shell into the phone but it never goes past
the splash.
Clearing the cache doesn't help.
I tried installing fresh ROM on the phone and only recovering the data partition in this case the phone seems to boot
and I even get the UI running for a few seconds but when but when the UI actually shows up all services and UI crashes and I cannot go past the screen lock.
Any help would be appreciated

I flashed the latest franco kernel on my op3t but the phone became very slow, so I reverted back to the stock kernel, but the problem still present. for example, when I open YouTube app, it shows a static reload arrow and it takes 4-5 seconds to load videos, same with app downloads from the store, it shows the same reload arrow for a couple of seconds before it gives me the option to download the app or cancel, also Lastpass lags for 4-5 seconds after login.
Another thing that got messed up is the reboot/shutdown animation, instead of the spinning circle animation, I get a static flickering one.
I flashed the stock kernel again, flashed the os, did a factor reset, a complete wipe but still have the same problem
any ideas ?.
Start over again. Wipe everything via TWRP. And I really mean EVERY partition via advanced wipe option. Connect your phone to your PC and upload a full stock ROM. Reboot once again from TWRP into your recovery. Let your phone boot and see, if your problem is fixed.
Are you sure you're flashing the right packages for OP3T and not the OP3?

longer story:
i was trying to get a game to run, it wasnt...and realized it has been a while for a restart, so i checked to see if anything needs to be updated and saw magisk needed an update. i didnt note what version it was before but it was a version or two earlier than what it was trying to install.
rebooted to blackscreen no samsung logo
have tried restarting a dozen times, booted to TWRP, tried to force normal system boot through the UI, nothing.
I tried installing a new kernal [SiriKernel], it made it to the samsung logo, waited 15 - 20 minutes and it never made it past. restored a backup using TWRP
updated TWRP to 3.3.1.0, still no luck.
i had this problem a long time ago, and cannot figure out how i fixed it....it may have fixed itself but it isnt this time. any advice would be appreciated.
