Unfortunately, Touch wiz home has stopped - I9505
If am switching to home screen mode to Touch wiz easy mode, system runs as usual. Else if run in Touch wiz home, I face the above issue and whole system stalls and does not respond back.
Recently i had installed Go launcher app and i uninstalled sooner. Following then I am facing this above mentioned issue. System in the default booting switches to Touch wiz home mode and the system.
Attempts to resolve this issue: Tried to wipe of the cache data partition in the recovery mode and then i tried to reboot from the recovery mode itself.
Kindly help me sooner
Try wiping the data for Touch Wizz. If that fails I would try a factory rest. Make sure you backup though.

Noticed my Verizon Note 3 running stock MJE wasn't autorotating back to portrait in Chrome, Google Maps, etc. The only temporary workaround is to press the home button but the issue returns if it switches to landscape. Only thing that properly restored autorotate is to reboot into recovery, wipe cache then boot into normal mode. Lost 1000+ hours of uptime from rebooting.

Rebooting once in a while is good for your device and it isn't uncommon to have to boot into recovery to clear dalvik and cache occasionally.
i recently installed custom recovery with auto rec on my lg g2 (AT&T) and everything loaded fine. however, when i restarted the phone and locked the screen, upon opening it the screen is all messed up, its a bunch of lines but i can see the screen move when i wipe. it works fine everytime i restart it as long as i do not let it sleep. i have the 20k update and i am using nova launcher... any fixes?

hello xda community
i've installed g3 cloudyflex on my g2.. and after wiping cache the device was basically soft bricked (lg logo loop)
now i've tried to get to back original kitkat rom.. everything went fine but then the device got errors "Unfortunately com.android.phone has stopped" and some other gui errors.. the screen is black but you use power/vol buttons for reboot etc
i couldnt get in my device so i tought of a hard reset...
but the psyhical button one doesnt seem to be working for me.. what to do??... not possible to get into rec. mode from pc?
after some time it manages to get to usb screen but it crashes completely and the device shuts down
also i cant get into safe mode as it keeps rebooting until i release power button

tldr: How can i fix my g2 if software and back button recovery method isnt working?
Using TWRP i have wiped everything except internal storage and installed LG-G2-VZW-OTA-VS98012B.zip after this process completed i reboot the device and got a fresh OS in my phone but soon after using i have realized that certain features are not working
1. Screen Rotation
2. Knock ON feature not working (screen goes off from double tap but its not turning back on only by power button)
3. Motion sensor calibration menu crashing (unfortunately settings has stopped)
is there any way to fix?
My touch screen stops working periodically. I'm convinced it's a software issue because I can use a hard brick recovery tool to get back up and running.
I have recently discovered that whenever I flash a certain ROM my touch screen stops working immediately. Is there anyway to capture or extract logs that might help me identify the issue?
Please note, once the touch screen stops working, a reboot does not fix it and the issue persists in recovery.
Cheers! ?
