Hello all
When I switch from camera to video recording...I video recording failed error occurs. I have already clear cache, delivk cache, change video storage to internal, and format SD card and all does not fix the problem.
I tried google camera...and recording works there...
I have the most updated modem and bootloader...and I have installed a romantic where other uses have video recording working
Any help will be appreciated.

Wipe cache & dalvick is OK, but do you do hard reset? It means wipe data, cache & dalvick
Yes

And reflash stock rom? Or try custom rom?
Yes yes

Fixed I didn't have the latest non-hlos.bin flashed although I had modem.bin installed

How did you do it please i have the same issue
Is there enough free space on your storage card or device?
So I solved it by:
Using Odin 3.11.1
I have already tried Factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik, flashed the latest stock Lolipop or older lollipop with ODin and nothing solved the problem.
So I tried to flash the latest stock lolipop with Odin and marking checked (Auto Reboot , F. Reset Time , Phone EFS clear, Phone Bootloader update).
I suspect that the Phone EFS clear did the trick. It's function is related to the modem and radio of the phone. And clearly the modem has a problem here.
I hope this will help anybody out there having this issue.
This problem happened after trying to flash lollipop using FlashFire app to reserve the root that I had in my previos Android KK 4.4.2.

So I've been playing around with flashing various ROMS to my phone, and wanted to give MDOB a shot since all the AOSP/AOKP ones are not working well with bluetooth at the moment. To my understanding, MDOB is a modified version of Touchwiz, that gets rid of all the bloatware that I cannot stand. Anyways, I flashed it using the following procedure through OUDHS Recovery:
-Wipe data/factory reset
-Wipe Cache
-Advanced
--Wipe Dalvik Cache
-Mounts and Storage
--Format /system
(Installed MDOB and Rebooted)
Phone restarted fine, but I noticed that I could not turn my WIFI on. Seeing this might be an issue beforehand, I followed another posters advice to reattempt to flash the ROM, only this time also wipe /data /media. Unfortunately, this did not resolve anything. I also tried iB4STiD's suggestion in their original post to flash the "Stock Kernel loki'd - with stock modules" and then wipe cache, dalvik, and fix permissions, also with no luck. Can anyone suggest what I might be doing incorrectly? Do I need to reinstall TWRP and attempt to flash through that instead of OUDHS? Any and all suggestions are welcome.

I had the same problem when I initially flashed that ROM. All I did to fix it was to flash TW KT kernel.

Not sure, but i would start with the basics--
1. Don't use Factory Reset. Do it manually thru Advanced. Wipe System/Data/Caches 3
2. Flash 4.3 rom for your phone before flashing a 4.4.
3. If you continue to have issues back up your internal sdcard to pc and format it then reinstall the data.
2.5.0.2 has been rock solid for me
I am not familiar with European phones. You could try a differnet kernel for you phone.
Did you Google your problem to see if anyone else has the issue.
Good luck--

How can i do real clean instal? . like it was when i bought it
Because when in flash 4.3 stock ROM some stuff like wall wallpaper and the greenify setting stay the same.
If i wipe the data will everything be back like when i first bought the phone?

Not sure on going back to original. Maybe Odin with a stock tar file for your version. Not familiar with that though. I have the wallpaper issue also. Not uncommon. Going of you wipe as suggested and redo internal card, you will be OK. Sometimes files are left there from previous roms and can effect new rom. Calling it a nite.

Hello
I have tried a few Rom but have decided to return to stock. I used to wipe system / data / preload and chache and dalvik on my Note 1 before Re-installing any new Rom is this still the case on the Note 3 ?
I will install rom with odin so will lose recovery and root so will need to do this before I flash stock.
Thanks ingott

Yeah you can do but no need when you flash stock it should wipe back to factory settings like the day you brought it
Hi all,
i upgraded to the new BL and KK.
After that i always get secSetupWizard has stopped working.
Regardless of using X-Note Rom or the stock N9005XXUENB4_N9005DBTENB1_DBT or N9005XXUENA6_N9005OXXENA5_N9005XXUENA2_OXX. (always a complete wipe of all partitions (system, data, cache) before flashing the firmwares with odin 3.0.9)
When booting the up the phone and when hitting the finish button of the configuration assistant the secSetupWizard is forceclosing and all begins again (endless loop). The only way to use my phone again is to delete the apk in the system partition.
After that everything is working fine. No other apps are forceclosing etc...
Everything is fine after deleting the SecSetupWizard2013.apk in system\app
Does s.o else have the same problem? Can s.o tell me how to fix it?
Since you've came from a custom ROM you may have messed up your partitions, Reflash CWM or TWRP and wipe /system then reflash stock you should be OK. - Failing that, find a pit file and repartition when you flash Stock
I did always a full wipe before flashing with Odin.
Flashing original fw work (no need for a pit file and repartitioning with Odin)

nobody any other idea?
now i did also repartitioning but nu success. regardless which rom i flash (stock, custom rom etc..) complete full wipe (internal sdcard, cache, dalivk cache, system, data, data/media), then a odin flash with stock rom --> same result -> loop at setup wizard. the only way to pass this wizard is to delete the app in twrp from the system partition.

What stock rom do you got?
Is it the right model? downloaded it from sammobile?
Did you perform a factory reset from recovery before booting the ROM for the first time?

I have the same problem. Note 3 stuck at SAMSUNG logo, i used flashify's reboot recovery.
Already try to wipe cache, but not restore factory setting as I need my internal data.
Used ODIN to update AP with 2014's MD5.
What should I do to fix it?

Which Note 3 do you have? Which ROM did you flash with Odin? Did you enable USB debugging? You could try to flash TWRP, mount the data partition in TWRP, and copy the data to your computer.

SOLVED!
Thanks. I already figure it out.
1. Flash TWRP
2. Restore factory settings
3. All media files saved
Thanks a lot! :good:
