I have the same question here. And looking at the number of views, it would seem there are others who would like to know too.
Go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31833122&postcount=4 and you can change the bootanimation! Though it can interfere with Xposed.

Hi, you could also check this thread, it doesn't change the shutdown service logo/animation though but gives a much better boot animation and will remove server provider animation for boot. Don't forget to thank the original poster

Really? Where are the remove/change options? I see only "modify boot sound/shutdown sound".

Boot animation files are in .
system /Media /
Delete Boot Animation Zip
Delete Boot Samsung.qmg
Delete Boot Samsungloop.qmg
Does no boot animation = kernel messages on Android .
jje
@jje: tanx
but removing that files results in blank boot screen, no kernel message displayed.

That looks interesting... but the youtube clip stalls halfway through on my machine. Other youtube stuff seems to work OK.

It's a "fake", it's not the real kernel messages like mf_417 wants, it's only a video. And you're right, it's one of the animations proposed by the romkitchen. (BIOS #2 Boot Animation)
I havn't seen yet anything which allows to display kernel messages on boot.

Just watched a review and saw the Bootanimation..... F***ING SWEET.
Can someone pull and post it. I'm sure it requires a system dump of some sort.

Hi may I request the Moto X boot animation in a flashable zip? I'm using Wanamlite ROM. I really like the animation and kindly include another flashable zip to restore back to original boot animation. Hope its not too much. Thanks!
Completely wrong! Section, please create post in this thread with something helpful
I thought you provide the boot animation when reading the title but end up request.

-Room toolbox pro to change boot animation.
-sanim.zip in system/media with rwx-rx-x permissions
-modified samsungani & bootanimation files in system/bin with rwx-rx-x permissions.
-boot animation enabler flashed by Philz before change animation.
what the problem? if you can give me an easy way to change boot animation please say it to me
thanks in advance
hmmmm up?
why nobody want answer me, thread already existing? tell me what i have to search because i didn't found help, ty in advance..
The GS5 has the bootanimation stored under system/media and are qmg files. I'm not sure which the carrier the 900H is but here is the international bootanimation link for you. Follow the instructions and you should be good to go. Now if you want a different animation the you will have to search for the one you want. Try Google and install the same way as the link. Good luck!

I think your issue may be the permissions your giving it. It should be RW- R-- R--. The permissions you mentioned in your first post are wrong. They must be "Read,write- read-- read--" try it and see if it works. I've done it myself before. Good luck.

So, I've been making a modern splash screen, based on the latest Galaxy devices for the Galaxy Grand Prime.
The problem is, I don't know a way on how to edit the splash screen. I have found some solutions by extracting param.bin, to no avail.
Is there a way to change the splash screen?
The images below are the ones I've made.

Oh, I overlooked this. Sorry. xD
What I mean for the splash screen is the image that shows up before the boot animation. It's also called a boot logo or something.
I hope someone can help me with this. It would be really nice to have a modern splash screen for our Grand Primes.
