Hi guys!
Please, help me with this..
Unfortunately I left my s5 fall from my pocket while I was seated and it got a lump on his side (the metal looking part)... I looked very closely his back and it got a little opening between his lid and his body (very little).. What should I do to close my lid tight again? I still can close it making all of his clicks.. But, I have this little lump.. And, have I lost my water protection?
Thx a lot everyone!
(if there is anything odd about my english, forgive me and please, correct me if I'm wrong)

Hmm. That's quite interesting to read.
I was hoping to tell what GPS chipset we are using in it, but I'm not sure it's in there.

That's great !
Thank you for posting this !!
I'm trying to disassemble my Galaxy Note but don't get it. How does the second step work? How to "disjoint the hooks"? Ive been trying serveral hours now but nothing happens except for that I am damaging the plastic "metallic look" frame.
Doesnt work neither with the standard plastic opening tools nor with a credit card. Would like to see pictures or a video on how to do that.
Thank you!

Don't try to disjoint from back, whole black and gray part in the back are just 1 part actually. try it from front. i mean seperate the gray part from the front screen.
Look at sammobile.com for the servicemanuals. It tells you how!

As I wrote above, I already have the Service Manual. However, it doesn't help, cause it only says disjoint it on different spots. There is no indication how to do that.
What do you mean by separating it from the front? Do you have a picture?
Thank you
hey guys I scratched my bezel, is it easy to replace the bezel, I am a non technical person, so is it a matter of just removing the 9 screws
Here is a good video on Youtube:
Great Info Bro!
Thanks for the posting!
And the Russian HD Version!
Hello,

Hi,
I recently changed the charger port on my s4 due to water damage, and while it fixed the problem I was clumsy enough to mess a few of the screws heads up while putting it back together...
I've searched Google and eBay quite a bit but can't seem to find a replacement set anywhere, but the s3 ones are easy to come by.
So my question is are the s3 screws the same size?
surely somebody must have an s3 to check!?
any replies greatly appreciated
thanks
Yes they are.

Hi guys,
So I got my S8+ yesterday and so far has been great except for one issue which bugs me because of my OCD.
On the bottom edge of the screen there seems to be a very small bump or perhaps dent which is visible on bright backgrounds.
The remaining edges are sharp and straight. This bump/dent is very small but I do see it and now, when I know it is there, it irks me. It's like the bezel was not painted straight.
I do have photos but since it's my first post using new account, I can't post external links... Any way to get around this limitation besides writing +10 posts?
Has anyone of you noticed something like this on your phones?
If not, would you try a replacement in my place?
Thanks a lot,
Majek

What's this?

Besides looking at it under a microscope, corners should be round and edges plus top&bottom should be straight. So yeah, could be the black on the bezel is painted poorly.
If it's obvious to the untrained eye I would definitely demand an exchange or repair.
Don't be afraid of a repair, it will be done as if it is new.

Thanks everyone for the answers. I am afraid I do not have the attachnents tab in the advanced reply section.
Should absolutely not be any physical Dents on the phone, so if you have any Dents visible and as you say about OCD, best must be to return the unit and get a non defective device..
Sorry for my prolly bad English, from Sweden ?

Hello Mi A1 users.
Today I'm complaining about something that's happening to Mi A1. The back of the device (black variant) have some "holes" where it seems there's no painting. I only have this phone for one month and I always used it with cover.

If you're not sure check your device please.

if u use a hard cover, it may actually be the culprit. What happens is the inner surface of the cover rubs the phone body, removing the paint/coating on it. Unfortunately, not using a cover means damage to the internals on every fall. i use soft covers, they are good for absorbing shocks while being less harsh on the phone body. The look is compromised but then its the deal.....

It happens when sands get stuck under your cover and it wears out the color finish of the aluminum. This is very common if you use a case and don't clean regularly. Those who don't use a case never face this situation but they risk the physical health of the device.

I just got the Mi 9T a few days back and I can't help but notice how sharp the outside edges of the USB Type C port are. The way I hold this phone one handed and frankly the only way I can do it is with my pinky finger resting on the port. But it's becoming an increasingly uncomfortable thing to do because of how harsh the port is. I am not using any case.
Is this just my phone or its just the way its designed? And is this going to get any better with time?

same with me, maybe a plastic plug would be welcome?

You mean I should give my phone in warranty?
Sent from my Mi 9T using Tapatalk
yes, my job is metal working and there isno way for it to be sharp - its just dangerous, so use warranty to replace or if you have skills use file to make it better
Can anyone else please comment?
I use this case => https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SRK7JZ3
No problem! ^^
On mine, it's not sharp at all
Okay I am gonna go to the Mi store and see if the demo unit has this or not. I hope they do have a demo unit as I don't know anyone who has this phone.
