Hey Guys,
After recently purchasing my Samsung Note III N9005 only 3 days ago, I've already encountered a problem - The phone works absolutely smoothly until the screen times out and doesn't turn back on! I am able to see that I am getting notification via the notification light and that the phone is still active as the two keys light up and the hepatic feedback can be felt both with touching the keys and removing the S pen, however the screen does not respond by turning on - until I restart the phone through holding the power button down.
It seems that I am not the only one who is having this problem, with numerous other people around the world also encountering this problem - However, I have been unable to find a suitable fix, and finding the process of restarting or taking the battery out inconvenient!

Ok the topic is supposed to read "Camera Light Problem - Its constantly on/flashing & wont stop"
I think ive got a hardware fault with my O2 Mini s (wizard). Recently the camera light started to just turn on and stay on no matter what. Right now the thing is flickering on off, and staying on solid. There is no pattern to it at all.
If i go to the camera and enable/disable the light, shortly after turning the light off it comes back on and flickers again. I cant stop it.
I have noticed that it doesnt require my phone to be on at all. If i turn it off and remove the battery, then simply put the battery back in without turning it on, the light comes on. It comes back on as soon as the battery is connected.
Do you think there is any solution other than contacting O2 with a hardware fault? (only had it about 2 months).

It's a hardware issue for sure.
Try shaking the device, maybe youve got a small particle short-circuiting the transistor.
Or maybe you got moisture in your device.
I bet it's one of those causes.

Hi,as a matter of I needed a new phone, I bought a MDA Vario 2.
I found some problems like when you press the wakeup botton it takes up to 3 sec to show the display on.
Another one is the camera,is too dark anywhere with a bit of darkness,even using the night mode on day still quite dark.When moving the camera is like flashing the screen quick and chaning the adjusments of the colors, :| Faulty or damaged???
I tried with differents roms but the camera still doing that and the power button as well.

I would like a bit of help with sorting my phone out. As of Thursday morning (2 AM or so) my phone has a black screen. The phone switches on, the touchscreen works (I can unlock it, put it to silent, hold the power key and tap the places on screen that would normally switch it off to do just that), the volume keys work, I can receive calls, the back light works.
Everything is as it should be, but I cant see a damn thing!
I should note that this happened once before, about a month ago and a few hours later it was back to normal. Also, I have noticed over the past few months a very small black circle at the top edge of the screen, about half a centimetre in diameter.
Please help!

It's the first time I read such an issue, your screen's probably defective.
To eliminate a probable OS issue, does the bootloader appear flawlessly ?
No, nothing appears at all. The screen is completely black at all times!
Your screen is malfunctioning, I don't know what's causing it and I don't know if you can fix it yourself either.
I think you are better off sending it back, if still under warranty.
Otherwise, ... ?
This just happened to me NOW....I'm waiting hopefully it will fix itself as i hear the HD2 heals itself LOL

I'm writing you this thread to expose my issue with my Samsung I 9505.
I'm using the new CM12 5.0 and my kernel is the Alucard. I changed the kernel 2 weeks ago.
The rom goes perfectly, except that I have 2 issues, 1 new and 1 older that I can't fix.
1: with the new CM12 rom, when the phone is not awake, sometimes the colour of the screen goes green. It only vanishs when I adjust the luminosity of the screen, then it's back to normal.
2: for almost 6 months, I have an issue when someone phones me. At the end when I want to hang out, the screen doesn't wake up, so, I can't hang out by myself. Moreover, after a call, the phone doesn't switch on. I have to push the power button, I hear a little noise of unlocking, and then when I push once again the button, the screen light up.
I hope you'll be able to resolve my issue

This is my first ever post in this forum. First of all I would like to appreciate the xda community for its great work in terms of the mobile phone world, keep up the good work!
I own a Samsung note 3 N9005. My problem is that when I press the wakeup button (power button), my screen turns full bright for about 0.5 seconds and goes normal again. This happens about 50 percent of the times I wake the phone up. This also happened 2 or 3 times while I was using the phone. I reinstalled the firmware through Odin, but the issue persists. I know this is not a big deal, but it kind of annoys me.
I also have another problem. The proximity sensor of my phone does not work. While on call, the screen doesn't shutoff when I put the phone on my ear. The ADC values are following (in the sensor menu *#0*#) :-
- when sensor is covered = 1004
- when the sensor is uncovered = 908 (approx)
I will be really glad if you guys can help me out with both these issues. Thanking in advance.
