Hi, I am not sure if this is the right directory to post this. Anyway, I have a Nokia Lumia 520 on a Windows Platform. The problem I am getting is:
Everytime I run a application, such as a game, the speaker starts "Buzzing", but if the volume its put to 0% everythings ok.
Please could someone help me how to get rid of the buzzing during applications.
This is windows 8, not windows phone 8. 2 are not the same.
(correct at time of writing, if this is infact windows phone 8 then the thread has been moved)

Note to the moderator(s) - I posted the same thread at the Home -> Windows Phone 7 Development and Hacking -> Windows Phone 7 General sub-forum already. I thought LG Optimus 7 owners might miss this info if I don't post into this forum. If you still think that this post is redundant, please delete it.

Great News! I have stumbled upon a solution for the 801812C1 error!
I have reasons to believe that this works for LG E900 Optimus 7 phones. If you want to try this on your Samsung Omnia 7, please read my note at the end of the post.
Here's what I did (LG E900 Optimus 7 / Windows 7 64bit):
During Step 6 (Rebooting your phone), your Windows OS detects your phone as a new device and starts searching for driver updates online. This can be seen when you click on the little indicator with a spinning green circle in the bottom-right corner of your desktop called the notification area (you might need to click on Show Hidden Icons if it's hidden).
You have to *immediately* click on "Skip Obtaining Device Software Online" or Zune will time-out and show error 801812C1.
Once you've skipped obtaining the drivers online, in about 20 seconds or so, your device will be recognized and you will be promptly taken to the Step 7 of the update.
Note for Samsung Omnia 7 users:
Even if you've gotten past the Step 6 801812C1 error, many users are getting stuck at Step 7 at 100% of 'Backing up your phone' resulting in a few users getting their phones bricked -- you might want to wait till that issue is resolved before trying this fix.
Hope this helps.
Let's see if it works
Mine is HTC Mozart and it's stuck at the very 6th step
hate it!

Have you gotten it fixed ? I am the same problem here... Do you or somebody here knows the fix? what about step 7 where people have reported it gets stuck at 100% and getting their phone bricked?
fuuu
got the same problem with Dell venue pro and tried everything......
but there is no icon where i can cancel the search for driver :O what can I do? Please, I tried everything , and I'm very frustrated now
I've been looking around this forum and others as well and haven't found anything about dual booting when Win7 is on a RAID0 volume.
I've already tried a couple of different ways and keep getting the same error message......Win8 can't edit the master boot record, which I believe it can't because it can't find it due to the fact its on a RAID0 volume.
Anyway.......rather frustrating because I'm not about to pop the RAID0 volume and have nothing but Win8 when not everything will work with it yet.
Any input would be greatly appreciated, or perhaps I'll just put it on a VM.....

I have the Vaio Z3 laptop, which comes with Raid0 SSD, I'm running Windows 7 and Windows 8 in a Dual Boot configuration normally, No problems at all in here!
Windows 8 got CLEAN-INSTALLED side by side with Windows 7, it was a Cakewalk.

I wish I could help you with that, instead I'm just confirming that mine works swiftly!
If its not much of a trouble for you:
1. Break the Raid0 and reset it
2. Build it back again
3. Install Win7 through a USB (5x times faster than DVD)
4. Install Win8 ....
5. Report back if you succeed.
Hi All
Has anyone had any luck updating this device to windows 10.
I have it installed, got every driver installed but the touch screen is a mess clicks seem to be a mile away from your press, rotation is the reverse (screen upside down), plus the windows button doesnt work and just clicks the centre of the screen.
IRO PRO 8-inch-windows-8-tablet
Cheap and cheerful device for my son, which I cant roll back to windows 8.1 (deleted recovery to install).
Can anyone help me out, so close to getting this working, and it must work because IROPRO 8-windows-10-tablet
But I've had no luck contacting them for drivers, and Silead who produce the screen are just as quite.
Does anyone have this device and can share there drivers?
Long shot but this felt like the best place to ask.
I already made it
Installed win 10, and everything works exept both cameras.
If the thread is still actual I will tell you how (where to take the appropriate drivers).

Hi! XDA communty, I have a problem with my Nokia Lumia 520:
My nokia Lumia 520 was having some software issues, I reinstalled the software with the Windows Phone Recovery Tool, and it worked well, but it started to get issues a couple months later, I realized the place where I work have unstable voltage, and I read on a forum that can make damage on the device, I reinstalled the software again 5 months later and it worked well for a couple months... Last week the problems became worse, the phone turned off because it was off of battery and it didn't started when I tried to turned on, it only vibrated and then nothing, after a lot of attempts by pressing the reset command and root restart command, it turned on, a couple days later my phone suddenly turned off and it was the same, after a lot of attempts trying to turn it on it worked, this monday the phone went out of battery and it didn't started anymore, the phone didn't vibrated when I tried to turn it on or pressing the command buttons, it vibrate only when I connect the device on a computer or a charger, I took my lumia to a technician and he said the memory was bricked and he haven't the device to unbrick it's memory... I saw a tutorial on onewindows(.)es about how to resurrect a lumia with its memory bricked and followed the steps carefully, I connected the phone and windows installed a driver, but the HQUSB_DLOAD never appeared on device manager, so I couldn't install the drivers to try to unbrick it's memory.
Someone else said the main board was damage or the processor was dead.
Please, XDA help me with this problem, I can't buy another phone because of the situation on my country.
PS: sorry for mistakes, I speak spanish.

So using Windows, open up device manager. Then plug in the phone, does anything new appear? Unplug the phone, does anything disappear? You may need to expand some of the [+]. Phone can show up under Ports, USB Interfaces, Human-Interface Devices or other places. If Windows can detect something when plugged, that's good. You may also just have a defective charging port.

the device manager detects something but doesn't add anything to usb interfaces or the other ones
So recently I decided to reinstall Windows 10 for my iRULU 2-in-1, model W10, but I had no idea this would cause things like my webcam, sound, HDMI, SD card reader, battery detection, touch screen, and more to all stop working. And the website where you would have been able to get a W10 image for the device, is no longer online (I guess iRULU has dissapeared or something). The tablet is nearly useless at the moment with half the stuff on it no longer working, and my search for the drivers have turned up nothing. If anyone happens to have an OS image for the device or something, that would REALLY help me out.
Did you find anything? I am still looking for it as well. I had the firmware but then I deleted it or lost it I don't remember where.
I just found back this tablet in a drawer and I was to try either an install of Linux (I have some good clues for that) or an Android x86 (seems to be feasible as far as I have seen from other BayTrail tablets).
But before that my tablet is ready to help if someone needs something on it before I wipe W10. If so, drop me a line
I'll keep it for some time under W10 because I will try on another BayTrail tablet where the process is well documented...
