Im having the following issue and was wondering if anyone can help
I have been using MVLUAMG1 for a while now as my baseband which is the latest Rogers/Fido modem/baseband and upgraded to foxhound 1.4 and then 1.5 from older foxhound versions
After installing the rom im trying to update the modem from MVLUAMDJ to MVLUAMG1. I tried it via mobile Odin which was neevr an issue before and everything seemed to go ok but baseband still shows MVLUAMDJ in settings
I tried via odin on my computer and get auth fail at the last part (writing)
Issue started with Foxhound 1.4 which is based on XXUBMGA firmware. Tested ROMS that are not XXUBMGA based and seems to work ok
Also unfortunately this modem is not flashable via recovery for some reason. Only ways to flash is is mobile odin or regular odin.
Trust me I would like nothing more then a flashable zip that works of this modem
any ideas or alternatives?
Hey Guys,
being on old bootloader i want to flash one of the prerooted stock roms provided here.
In the OP it says for installing the JB 4.3 roms on old bootloaders: "Other than wifi, the rom is fully working, (...) To get wifi fully working, dev needs 4.3 kernel sources, so please wait!".
So will i break WiFi because i can't use (as also said in the thread) the WiFi Fix on old bootloader?
I would like to flash the newest prerooted Stock Rom (XXUEMKE from 27.11.2013) via CWM.
i use a 4.3 costom rom with no wi fi problems if u had problems with your connection just flash a 4,3 modem and that should solve it.

The provided roms in the linked thread don't contain a modem. I'm currently on MJ5 with latest (newest) possible LTE modem for old bootloader. So I don't understand why it says in the thread that there can occur Wi-Fi problems..

that is because when 4.3 came at the begining they didnt have the kernal sources for 4.3 and that made lots of problems but now there are a lot of kernals for 4.3 like ktoones, Faux and talexop's kernal
I was on 4.4.2 (stock) then I flashed to 4.3 & flashed on top CM 10.2 (latest stable build release, not just 10.2).
After I did, WiFi won't turn on, Dialer stops responding, and flashing back to stock 4.3 doesn't fix the WiFi problem. I need help on this ASAP.
I'm fine with flashing other ROMs onto my Nexus aslong as it fixes my problems.
One thing to note, I am on StraightTalk, and after flashing to CM, my data worked without me editing the APN like I normally need to when flashing new ROMs.
Did you downgrade the radio too?
Flash a 4.3 radio
If people install Wanamlite 3.1 then flash modem with I9505XXUFNB9-WiFi-FIX(NON-HLOS).tar This working perfectly on my S4-GT9505.
Check your modem versions on here before flashing.
That's a fix for all the custom roms when you are on the old bootloader.
Plz help
I tried to flash cyanogenmod for my A500F(Lollipop 5.0.2) through TWRP.
When I flashed the rom, the message on the screen said"this rom is for a5ltexx. This device is a5ultexx"
However in about phone, my phone model was A500F. Ignoring this, I flashed the a500fu rom.
Rom flashed successfully. BUt my Wi-Fi and sim card were not working due to baseband issue
How to flash cyanogenmod and have the same baseband?
