Try different kernel and see what it does maybe stock kernel or what ever if you still get reboots then do as said b 4 and flash different rom.

You don't have stock kernel on exynos?
Flash Stock kernel first cause that is how can I say.. minimizing the margin of error. If it doesn't work try different rom and at last complete rewind.

Then going back to stock rom is probably what you have to do or try the rom you suggested. Is it running stock kernel?
You didn't play around with kernel settings?

no - you do not need to replace bootloader files or repartition in odin - doing so could damage your device
you only need to include pda phone(modem) & csc

yes because you are flashing stock rom and kernel firmware - like I said - it will be like you switched the phone on for the first time
please search if you want more information
there are plenty of guides in the general section and on xda as a whole

Are you sure the bootloader flashed?
Because you didn't say about flashing a KK Recovery. As the JB ones dont work on the new bootloader

Just try a data factory reset after you flashed a custom rom next time, that should fix the boot issue.

Have you tried clearing the caches after the flash? Did you do a full wipe before flashing the rom? Flashed the correct rom for the N9005?

Oh woow... I tried a custom kernel to see if that did the job and a custom kernel fixed it, thanks for the help tho :victory:
The fix:
Download the kernel from here and flash it, http://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=12055
Currently using this 1, CivZ-SnapKat-Rev3.1-sm_n9005-4.4.2.zip

I mentioned in another thread that I tried to flash official German firmware on my aussie G model and it failed in Odin, not sure why. Phone is fine though, it failed at the beginning of the flash so it didn't modify any of my software.

I think my phone is broken. Please Read.

Hey,
I made a thread the other day about getting a good ROM because the others seem to die after 3 days. Does anyone have an idea of why this happens? I have tried 6 different ROMS in 4 days and they all the do the same thing; Apps won't open, phone constantly on boot logo, apps crash, phone freezes up, phone won't boot up.
The phone is around 4 weeks old with minimal wear.
I would appreciate all feedback.

That's my problem. When I did flash a custom ROM, they all froze, crashed, non responsive etc etc. So this has made me not want to flash a custom ROM, but I want to because of all the perks that come with flashing /:
You have maybe to update bootloader or modem or recovery before flashing. .
Give some details about your actual configuration and the rom you flash...

I had CWM 6.0.4.7 flashed and I tried Gooh S5+N4 ROM, S5 stock by Jamal, XNote, Omega and N9005 Dev Base (RC tea I think) and a couple others. When flashing, I did all the normal step, wiping cache, wiping data, dalvik when told and leaving the phone for 10 minutes after it boots.
Do you want any information about the actual phone?
You have N9005 international? ???you have flashed stock KK one time???your bootloader and modem version....
You have to factory reset during flash.......

Yes, I have the SM-N9005 LTE. I am now running Kitkat Official 4.4.2. Sorry, but I don't know how to see my bootloader/modem version.
I m running with stock recovery if that helps.

1. Reflash the stock ROM.
2. Root with CF Auto Root.
3. Flash this custom recovery: TWRP (better than CWM).
4. You can remove the bloatware (HERE) and enjoy the stock ROM.

Sorry but I don't like the custom Roms. It's coz they are constantly updating and fixing things, no coz they are bad. Every device don't answer in same way with same ROM either. It's only my opinion . Last choice is always yours.

were they cm13 i remeber beign in cm12 and had ramdom reboots but it was kernel. if i changed like governor then it would reboot itself.
modem. well you could use hybrid bootstacks but i dont think it matters. make sure to flash bootstacks/go to main menu/reboot into recovery from recovery and flash rom gapps.
