[official 2.3.5]Volume rocker Wake feature

I've been asked by a friend to modify the official 2.3.5 b526 rom in order to enable the "wake with volume keys feature". It worked ok so I'm sharing it with you i case anyone needs it. It's is not an option, it is by default on. To turn it off flash the NO_volume_wake_526_flashable.zip attached file. It might also work with the other versions of the official 2.3.5 but it wasn't tested on any. It's safe to try as long as you backup first. Please report if you test it and it works!
Download the volume_wake_526_flashable.zip attached file to your device
Boot at recovery
make a backup in case something goes wrong
wipe cache/dalvik cache (don't know if it's must, just in case...)
flash it
test it
To return to normal flash the NO_volume_wake_526_flashable.zip attached file.

Thank you guys for the reports. It would be very useful for others, to say on which version of the official 2.3.5 you applied the patch. If there is a problem with another version I can apply the patch for that.

Maybe it's easier to change the following from "false" to "true" to enable key unlocking screen in the build.prop
ro.config.hw_menu_unlockscreen=false

No, if this works, it enables unlock with MENU key (between BACK and MENU keys)
This patch enables you to wake the screen (not Unlock the phone) by pressing the volume keys... Ideal for anyone with nearly broken power button...

after using F320_AutoRec.apk reboot to TWRP and reboot system,
in dial enter: 3845#*320# > HW Device Test > Touch Test > Touch Firmware Upgrade

Unfortunately, it doesn't work with knock code, so don't try knock code without use PIN, it just knock on/off screen, it useful for those don't need to use knock code, anyone want to get back knock code flash zip from this post

after using AUTOREC, only knock off works, i tryed this and is ok now (d802)

the dial code though is the following : 3845#*802#

Tried this for my 800(att) and still cant wake the phone anymore with double tap. Any ideas?

Worked for me on vs980 only difference is i had to dial ##lgservicemenu to get into the settings but after that it worked perfectly i was about to go back to stock glad i seen and tried this first

After flashing phone boots up normal. However after pressing power button or knocking off phone stuck in black screen LS980. Have to hard reboot.

I was trying to fix this using adb,
when i put this command
cat /sys/devices/virtual/sensors/proximity_sensor/prox_cal
it replied "no such file or directory"
after then, I INSTALLED PROXIMITY SENSOR FINDER & RUN IT.
IT'S AMAZINGLY WORKING NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

same thing happens with me when i open MX player, screen starts blinking with I/O scheduler "null".

You can try flashing my zip below - its one I did for cm7 ages ago however I don't know if it works on stock roms
If not just replace the sensor files with the ones from stock rom
Flash this in cwm with system mounted

Go to Settings > Display. There you can find the option to disable MultiWindow

FM Radio is not working in #1 but it is already fixed and implemented in build #2.

Can you add digital clock widget and s5 wheater clock? There is analog clock only
The S5 lockscreen effect is not same like as the original one hehehe....
And also add swipe to remove and kill task in multitasking
And please add soft key feature like nexus and cm for galaxy y

sounds like you are using the wrong kernel - use a stock based kernel and make sure you are using the correct ril file for your baseband kernel combination

Le Max 2 Hidden Menu

Hi,
Infos : there is 2 Hidden Menu :
1- tap on dialer : *#*#4636#*#* --> Menu test
2-tap on dialer : *#*#46360000#*#* --> Settings plus

Just great the second hidden menu, that what i was looking for.:good:

Unfortunately I believe it's just for stock ROM, on CM13 isn't working.

On the background the phone keeps regulate the apps. For me was the problem the push notification. With the bidden settings, i could disable the last function. Now i've No problem any more with push.

I noticed no change, not better, but certainly not worse.
1 day with average use.

*#*#76937#*#* - several options.

Did someone have troubles with 4g connexion. Sometimes I lose signal and can't do nothing . No internet no call. I rooted my phone with cuoco rom

What these options exactly mean?

One of them is "Enable AT Port" in case if QPST does not see the phone in DM.
The other ones are less important.
Regarding CDMA - you can google.

Make a TWRP backup of your ROM, install 21s stock rom and after first setup boot, enter TWRP and restore your ROM.
Radio files remain when you restore your backup.

Im not sure, but I think that with Mokee isnt neccesary. My radio files I only use to stock ROMs.

I again used the app to get imei but it didnt work
And their are no imei sv codes too so it is not even reading sim card.

Hi friends, I am tested this rom for Micromax a120.
This rom is very fast and included screen recorder.
Following are two issues.
1) Proximity sensor not working i.e call screen on off problem.
2) Phone heating issue.
Can any one solve these issues.
