when i tried to updated my phone ( LG E612 ) to 4.2 by KDZ (my own was 4.0.3) at the middle of work an error :
UPGRADE Error
Wparam = 500
Lparam = 100
so the upgrade crashed and my phone is ON and didnt turn OFF even i hold the power botton
in the screen just is a note : " Download is in progress Do Not disconnect Cable." whit LG logo
what should i do?
Are you sure that 4.2 kdz is for e612/e610 ?
Did you had a custom ROM before?
Anyway, download v10d_firmware (for e610, no matter, its the same for e612/e612g/f). Flash it and then try flash that KDZ again (after you confirm its for YOUR phone)
Hi. I was trying to restore my D802 with LG flashtool but it failes at 49% every time and gives me this:

I flashed a wrong kernel version in twrp and ended up stuck in fastboot. Then I flashed the "right" boot.img via fastboot(very stupid) and now my phone wont boot at all.
It wont even boot into fastboot anymore. It just gives me the LG boot screen with "secure booting error" and "Cause: boot sertification verify". Seems like there isnt any boot.img at all. I can only boot into download mode.
Any help would be very appreciated. But I guees im out of luck this time.

Yes I AM.
I cant restore because it fails at 49% every time. Tried 20-30 times. I dont get why it doesnt just flash the kdz.

I think I read here that issue means you should take out your SIM card before flashing. That or wipe system before flashing(if you still have access to recovery).

I Can only boot Into download mode. Nothing Else boots. But thanks. Ill try without sim.

Yeah 1.91 GB. I was thinkihng about trying a different D802 kdz. But they are all for the 16 GB model. I have the 32 GB

Connect it to a linux machine then try and see if adb recognises it.

My only option is windows. And adb doesnt recognize it after I flashed the boot.img. It cant boot to fastboot.

Try a friends laptop or more simple is you can boot your system from pen drive and install adb and then try.
I suggest you download an UBUNTU iso and "unetbootin" then make an USB boot image. Boot your system with it and you are not going to loose anything.
To anyone who might find this thread later with the same problems.

I installed ubuntu as dual boot on my win8 laptop. I did need to disable auto mount i ubuntu. I followed all the steps and then i was able to boot to twrp and restore my backup.

I'm on stock 4.2.2, rooted and I installed TWRP, everything is working fine, but I decided to move on to 4.4.2 (stock) using the .kdz flash method and I just can't get it to work anymore... I've tried several times but I just get stuck on 49% all the time...

I think I have really messed things up now...
I downloaded Cloudyfa's 2.4 ROM and stock KK kernel and installed using TWRP. Phone was working fine, then I used the .kdz method to try and flash again (stock KK ROM) and this time the flash completed fine. Phone started up but had loads of process stopping, so I did a factory reset and now all I get is the little android with the cube spinning. I can flash any .kdz again but as soon as the phone reboots, the android is there with the cube spinning...
Have I bricked it irreversably?
Never mind, got this working again now.... Flashed a JB .kdz and then up to KK .kdz and its all good
