Is there a lock screen replacement app that supports widgets? I want to use zooper to make a custom widget, and put it on my lock screen. I tried a few different lock screen apps and many have built in notifications, or come with their own widgets. But I need one that allows any widgets I want.
I guess that's a no? I'm still searching.

I'm looking too. Verizon Note 3 w/KitKat. Looking for camera on lock screen without having to unlock. Only works out of the box if you have the lock screen set to swipe which I don't want to do... anyone, please?

Locker pro and others can do that. Finding an app that supports widgets is another story.
Actually locker pro does support widgets, but you have to swipe right to see the widgets - each time -which is annoying. This isn't exactly what I want, so I'm still looking.

Widget locker or CLocker... but they cost $$.
C locker seems to fit the bill for a couple of bucks. Thanks.

Does widgetlocker only have the old style swipe to unlock or can it be changed to have the newer kitkat style swipe graphic?

Launcher Pro Plus has Friends widget,Facebook widget, messaging! Widgets and many more. That's what I'm using right now!

The problem with LauncherPro is that it cannot use the TouchWiz Widgets. LauncherPro doesn't have enough Widgets itself to be useful to me (not saying it's useless to anyone else).
Plus the paid version can't be put in the market and probably wouldn't have carrier billing available for it.
But like I said, the Samsung Widget provides the same function of those others.

Hi would like to know if its possible to modify the lock screen on the Motorola Xoom II lock screen and if so what do I need.
Basically I want to add some widgets to it.
I did it to my Galaxy Note II using widget locker' but widget locker somehow does not seem to work well my tablets.

Only way would be to make a "similar" launcher by yourself using Nova/GO/APEX etc etc and just tweak it. You can't/won't be able to use any HTC .apk's on your Note due to framework incompatibilities.
HTC sense is perfect system, but I cannot understand, why we cannot use it on our devices, because I think, that it can be ported. But may be I'm completely wrong as only htc kernels sources are available.

Obviously, I'm coming from HTC One before joining Note 3, and I missed that BlinkFeed style on Note 3 now... :silly:

Hey guys ,
I'm giving my Nexus 4 to my father to replace his Samsung S4 (broken screen) and i was wondering if i could transform the Nexus 4 into something like the S4 as he is already used to it. (Wallpaper / Sounds / Keyboard / Setings , Icons , Sliding screen etc...)
I tried several themes & launches from the Play Store but they only cover a small portion of what i'm looking for.
Can anyone recommend me a theme or a way to transform my nexus 4 into the Galaxy S4 ?

You can try custom roms that imitate touchwiz. Just search for them here on xda. I really cant make any recommandation, cause I do not own a samsung device to compare it with.
For all I know it is better to teach your father pure android. It isnt that hard to learn.
