Possible to modify lock screen on Xoom II - Xoom General

Hi would like to know if its possible to modify the lock screen on the Motorola Xoom II lock screen and if so what do I need.
Basically I want to add some widgets to it.
I did it to my Galaxy Note II using widget locker' but widget locker somehow does not seem to work well my tablets.
Thanks

Samsung Galaxy S Lockscreen on HTC Desire?

I was just wondering if there was any way to port the samsung galaxy s lockscreen to the HTC Desire?
It looks nice and clean and it's got a unique way of unlocking.
I love minimalistic themes and so on and I think this lock screen will just give my HTC Desire a bit more of that look.
I would do it myself if I could but I have no experience in programming and this kind of thing, because I'm quite young and new to the field.
Would appreciate it ever so much if someone could do this.
Thanks
Download lockbot free from the market and delete all of the except for the galaxy one

Thank you works a charm
volume buttons locked too :/
Yeah... I really like the galaxy lockscreen too and lockbot really does the trick but lockbot also locks the volume buttons and the next/play/previous buttons on the headset.
I tried looking into the settings but found nothing that enables them when the screen is locked. So if I have missed the setting for them please tell me where that option is
And if someone else knows of another galaxy lockscreen app please post here!
Cheers!

Lock screen when sliding down

Hey all, I've been a long time lurker here, as my girlfriend had an android phone that I rooted (Samsung Galaxy 3 Apollo 5801)..
Now the time has come for me to get in on the Android bandwagon with a Play!
I have done much searching on the net and on this forum, but to no avail.
Is it possible, with LauncherPro, for the screen to lock when you slide the phone down?
So you slide open the gamepad, and the screen unlocks, but then you can't get portrait without closing the gamepad again. Ideally I'd want to be able to make it portrait without closing the gamepad, but when you do close gamepad, the screen locks again?
I would love to see this, it would make it more sexy ;-)

I would like to see this as well...... will i need an unlocked bootloader to use launcher pro?
no you don't need an unlocked boot loader for launcher Pro

Do you think we would need a custom Rom for this feature or just root?

I would say, at my best guess, it would require the launcher to be changed. Either launcherPro, or the default sony ericsson one. Probably doubtful for both however
I'm thinking the slider is recognised as a key. Maybe it could be remapped

Lockscreen

Is it possible to add widgets or change things on the lock screen?

Yep as always very customisable being android but just now its limited by the number of apps and devs incorporating this new feature into their apps but it will get better as always with bigger name and Google apps making use of the additional flexibility

Yes. If you slide to the left or right, you will see a blank lock screen with a [+] icon. Tapping that will allow you to add widgets.
Thanks guys

Not on stock 4.2 yet. I believe you can with Widget Locker though.

[Q] Expand lock screen widgets

Hi All,
I finally made the jump and bought a Nexus 7 even tho we will most likely see a newer version in May. However it is still freakin awesome! I am running CM 10.1 nightly's but cannot expand the lock screen widgets. Is this possible? I love that new Dashclock widget for the lock screen but it will only show me two of my selected options before it cuts off because I am unable to expand the widget.
I use it on the Note 2 (also running CM10.1) and it works great. Anyone know something that I may have missed?
Thanks in advance
-Chris
I actually forgot how it's done. I remember I did it once on 4.2 but never again could I expand the widgets to maximum size again on 4.2.1 and 4.2.2
Hi there,
Have you tried Apex Launcher?
I dunno for sure, but maybe, and just maybe you can re-size and customize the lock screen widgets.
Hope this helps

I did! That's what I thought but looks like it's built into CM 10.1. but not in the grouper builds i guess.
Swipe down on the widget. From the clock

It doesn't behave the same way my Note 2 build does.Only thing I can do is delete or add widget. no re-sizing (that I can see or get to work) .
It really is strange then. Maybe if you pm your Rom dev for some q & a.
